[TWEAK][GSM][UPD:29/01/12] Notification Bar Power Controls - Motorola Droid RAZR

Notification Bar Power Controls for any stock ROM
Updated 29/01/12 (now it uses SPU-15 code)
It's not fully my work - it's just port with some tweaks from Arctic 3.0.
Fully worked on SPU-12. Should work on SPU-9/11/15.
Do not instal to ICS! It's only for Gingerbread!
How-to install:
1. Download View attachment NotifBar_Toggles_v2_b01291207.zip to your SD Card
2. Reboot into ClockworkMod Recovery
3. Select "install zip from sdcard" > "choose zip from sdcard"
4. Choose NotifBar_Toggles_v2_b01291207.zip
4.1. If your ROM deodexed then go to advanced > Wipe Dalvik Cache
5. Enjoy!
Don't forget to do a nandroid backup before installing!

Big thanks to EternityProject

Fantastic, thank you very much, working excellently on the latest odexed stock 2.3.6. Even removes the carrier logo, too. Had been hoping someone would rig up a more firmware-neutral notification toggle.

Works fine. I extracted the systemUI.apk from the zip, backed up systemUI.apk & systemUI.odex from /system/app/, renamed those two files, copied the one from the zip into the same directory, then rebooted.

Thanks buddy it mostly works fine but the brightness control seems to not respond very well.
If you tap it once it will change to auto but tapping it again doesnt increase back to original

great, works fine on stock

How do I undo this?
This didn't work on mine. How do I uninstall it?
It didn't add the icons and took away my entire notification bar.

Not working on 6.5.1_167.20

If you made the nandroid back up it recommend, then hopefully you can restore from that? Or perhaps you can get the SystemUI.apk from someone with a compatible ROM or pull it from a Official ROM. Its in the "system\app\" folder.

If you guys are using this on odexed stock ROMs, you need to remove or rename systemUI.odex from /system/app to get it to work.

I think the framework files have to be compiled in an .apk mate. Not naked files like that

If naked files are present, then you need to use metamorph or Zipthemer to patch the framework file. Zipthemer is easy to use and it builds flashable zip automatically!
EDIT: Download the file and checked. It's different and no need to use Zipthemer. I think there's an error in the updater-script. Try editing it and comment out these two lines:-
package_extract_dir("system", "/system");
package_extract_dir("data", "/data");
And then flash the zip file via CWM.

An old version is fine, as all current roms use same files
No, those are the files I take from my device right now, after I make the mess.

Razr-i's Launcher and Circle Widget flashable .zip

A new flashable zip much more complete posted by Artur0588 here:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2132432
Hi guys, I've packed the latest Razr-i's launcher and circle widget to flash via recovery.
It works on JB (but not some Razr's default widgets) and should on ICS but not tested yet.
Download: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?cy0sl0l51gc3fe5
Copy or move to SD-card > reboot to recovery > wipe dalvik and cache > flash > reboot and enjoy.
If after the installation on ICS you receive an error as "Weather app not installed" go to /system/app an rename WeatherWidget.apk to WeatherWidget.bak
Thanks to juanfers.
Screenshots on JB leaked:
Thanks to ThilinaC for the META-INF (extracted from his Xperia Z launcher zip) the first working after many attempts.

Perfect, needed to make sure for OP directions in odex ROMs
It works! I'm on a rooted, odexed stock ROM. Thanks!

Thanks works perfect after renaming
Appears to break private mode if used on odexed rom. This is no fault of your mod, It seems like anything deodexed breaks private mode.

It does, its just a one way or another. Deodexed is needed for themes and odex for speed. Deodex has done this before but Ill look into this soon to see if I can bypass it breaking. Just been busy with other projects right now, trying to get development booming here soon.
I'm on a stock rooted (deodexed) and followed all the installation steps but couldn't get it to work. Any suggestions?

Here's an odexed version of your mod I put together. Private Mode still works after applying this version
Do with it as you wish. Credit for mod goes to original author. I just re-odexed it and tweaked the installer script.
This is for ODEXED roms If using this version, do NOT rename the android.policy.odex as outlined in step 4 of the OP. The odex file is required. Just flash with TWRP and do a Dalvik/Cache wipe and all should be good.
Very nice townsenk. Works great. Thanks for everything you guys do. Much appreciated.

You have deodexed correct? No odex files accompanying jar files?

That's the one I made it from AND2. I don't think so since most compatible and no real changes in system between versions yet.
Work great on ND2, Thanks![emoji106]
