How to check weather rom is odeox or deodex ?

Go in system/apps and if is there ex: settings.odex your rom is odex
Ps. every app have a "shadow" with .odex !

I'm really getting in this dev thing and i want to learn some dev in android. Can someone enlighten me how to odex and deodex a rom? I try to search but some part of odexing, I really can't understand at all. Please help me.

Just use zeephilin method and for odexinf use "Spacious_ICS_supercharged_services"
for service patch.just install this .zip and install from cwm

Odex Rom have many system guard files in system/framework and it won't let remove / replace / mod
Meanwhile if you have deodex rom then you can theming / mod / replace without anyproblem

Open root explorer and go to system/framework and find if there have any .odex file or not ! If you see no .odex file then it's mean that you are deodex ! Don't worry if you see a file ( The one that have .obex )
My ROM is deodex
I searched for the .odex file but it's not there, just .jar files one .apk file and as you said one .obex.jar file!! I guess this means that my ROM is deodex and I can do a lot of stuff without any problems!!!

First, sorry for bad english.
I wanted to try this mod: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1411317 on my I9100 running Mhyegen rom 2.0 final but when I try to extract my framework.jar it only contains META-INF, classes.dex and preloaded-classes. I cant see any .odex files in my framework folder so I assume that im deodexed Is there something wrong with my rom or am I doing something wrong?
Anyone? I cant post in developement forum :/
Odex files is not inside of apk.
Go to system/app/ if there odex file your rom is odex if not it is deodex.

Sorry, mean I dont have any .odex files in my app folder. I whrite that on hurry so I made mistake :/

If there aren't any .odex file in system/app folder means you have a deodexed rom.:good:
Hello All..!
I need some one's help here... I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 with Omega Rom V14 Installed on it and I am really happy with it, However i would like to use the default drop down menu or the Notification Bar with all the Green Stock Buttons on it as of now I have Blue.Please advice I would really appreciate it.....:silly::crying:

Extract the SystemUI.apk and framework-res.apk from some other Sammy based rom(like Wanamlite) which has the original one and push it your /system/app folder.
Or you can flash Simplistic Framework

Here are the files u need. Push the systemui.apk to system/app and framework-res.apk to system/framework and go into recovery wipe cache, dalvik cache and then fix permissions and reboot and you r good to go.

You Can find it in any Touchwiz based rom .....Extract the zip and navigate to system/app and search for secvideoplayer.apk
Copy it into the same location of your ROM and set permissions rw-r--r-- . This is valid for all sys apks for ur future.
Now ive uploaded it for you. Extract the Zip and Follow above instructions

i have 2 rom.zip files but they dont cantain the app ... anyways

Stock Touchwiz Roms Will always have those files unless its a heavily debloated Rom
