Battery Version:
In this version you will be sacrificing some cpu & gpu performance for a decent amount of battery. Hotplugging checks at a slower rate for battery, Ondemand is tweaked for battery instead of speed. Minimum brightness levels are set lower, our #1 Battery Drainer.
100-1000Mhz
Ondemand/sio
GPU set to: 100/160/200Mhz | 800/850/900mV
Hotplug/Governor Tweaked for Battery
Battery Lite Version:
Experimental Battery future version. No LMK Tweaks, Less ThunderBolt! Tweaks, No Zip Align. Supports Entropy 3/07/12+. Trying to rule out any conflicts with this version.

Performance Version:
This version you should be noticing a difference in benchmarks/responsiveness. The battery drain should be a little more than stock because of the overclocking. Hotplugging is set to Siyah Defaults, and lulzactive is tweaked for performance/battery.

Changelog:
v0.4.6lb: Supports Entropy DD 3/07/12+. Good chunk of ThunderBolt LMK & Performance tweaks removed. No Zip Align. GPU @ 33/133/200. CPU now at 200-1000Mhz (To support DD). ro.telephony.call_ring.delay set to 1000. Can be flashed on top of 0.4.6b, but it will not delete LMK/Zipalign.
[*]v0.4.6b: Upped Hotplugging a little. Disabled Static Bus. Changed back/updated to Crypted GPS v3.1 No-SSL. Smooth Scaling Enabled 2/2/2. GPU Thresholds changed to 90/50/90/50. Wifi/Phone Experiments added to bottom of S92init_doh. Should be a faster release without hopefully any additional battery drain.
[*]v0.4.5b: Lowered Hotplugging values. They were fairly ridiculous. Disabled sched_mc, redundant with hotplugging on. Freq_cpu1on back at 600hz. GPU Thresholds changed to 85/70/85/65 (Thanks droidphile). GPUSTAYCOUNT=2 on all. Upped ondemand/down_differential to 10.
[*]v0.4.4b: Changed freq_cpu1on to 800Mhz. Changed GPS Quick Fix to H3llstorm's. Updated Ad Blocking Hosts file. Uncommented Wifi/Phone Experiments in s92init_doh.
[*]v0.4.3: 2.6.13 Siyah Required. Moved most of the tweaks in init_doh to default.profile for the new 2.6.13 SiyahKernel. This will allow you to edit most of this in ExTweaks app. Added 80MB LMK v6 SuperCharger memory tweaks by zepp & Pika. Cleaned out most commented lines in system_tweak, and a couple AOSP issues. Updated ThunderBolt! scripts. Changed hotplug values / GPU steps for hopefully better battery. Changed scheduler to SIO. Choosing a lower minimum brightness for better battery. Commented out Experimental Tweaks in init_doh script.
[*]v0.4.2b: Few build.prop tweaks again, these from ICScrewD. You will see them at the bottom of init_doh under "Latest Experiments". Could cause AOSP issues. Also extracting bolt_scripts to both /emmc/ and /sdcard/, hopefully fixing some peoples complaints about it missing. Overall, just a small update.
[*]v0.4.1b: Deep Sleep Freq set back to 100-800 @ 400mhz bus. If .4.0 is working fine for you, no need to update.
Q: Where is my init.d folder? A: On your main storage. "/system/etc/init.d/". Find it with File Manager
Q: I want to change stuff like voltages/governor, but how? A: Browse to the init.d folder, open s99init_doh with a text editor such as Jota Text Editor. Trial and error from here.
Q: Cool story bro, but I can't edit/save the file. Wth? A: Calm down. The directory is read only. In file manager go to the directory, then open your menu -> more -> settings, scroll to the bottom and check root and mount. When u are finished, unchecked those two.
Q: How do I boot into recovery (CWM) mode? A: Through your power menu, through the CWM app on your phone, or: With the phone off, Vol-Up,Vol-Down, Power Button - Hold down at same time till your in recovery
Q: I tried hitting my power button recently, but the screen never came on (SOD). Whats up? A: Hard to say exactly, but lets start pumping the CPU voltages up. 25mV at a time. If it continues even at stock voltages, long-press power to reset the phone and then pull /proc/last_kmsg and let me know!A lot of people can push their voltages lower, I can too. Trying to make this script universal for us siyah people. Don't be afraid to increase/decrease your CPU voltages 25mV at a time, never go higher than stock in my opinion.
Undervolting is pretty much a placebo with your screen on. At most people save is 5% more battery with extreme undervolting. If you get one reboot, you may have drained more power than you have saved. If you want to save battery, turn your brightness low and choose a governor that stays away from the max freq the most. Your phone will also save a little more juice if you can handle 100Mhz as lowest state.

Backup your init.d folder if you want to be safe, this will overwrite all the files listed above. Also if you have a voltage control service, odds are that this won't work (at least the cpu/gpu/voltage tweaks).Go give thanks to: (Click on their names below)

All you need to do is flash this in Recovery mode. CWM (recovery) comes with the custom kernels available in this forum.

cwc should we or can we merge our scripts. mine has a little overclock and uv but everything else is almost identical.

I don't see why not. You could actually just download the zip, and place your files in the correct directories. Maybe rename the files so they are the same. That would make your files cwm flash-able.

Strange, I am using both. Clean some cache while your at it.

Alright, so what are the exact steps for installing this?
Copy to SD card, reboot into CWM, flash, reboot?
I tried several times and even wiped dalvik/cache before installing, each time it failed to boot past the exclamation point. I had to restore from backup.
Running Siyah 2.6.11/CM7 Nightly.
Advice?

Oh no. I will look into some cm7 compatibility issues, or maybe I threw in too much. I will make a couple versions tomorrow. One at least without voltage changes.

It work. I saw the volt change in setcpu, btw , i can't find "Open Script Manager, Scroll down to the "bolt_scripts" on your sdcard" , i don't have "bolt_scripts" on SDcard

What hes saying is you have to get a program called script manager from the market its free. The bolt scripts is inside the init.doh zip its in a folder labeled "sdcard" but I think that we don't even need to do that part now. I think all we need to do is flash this in cwm thats it. By the way for any one wondering. This is usable on the I9100 roms too. I'm running siyah 2.6.11 kernel with the Omega rom and it works fine but I will say it did take quite a while to start on first boot. Thanks cwc3!! Oh and homer rules!!

Strangely it did the same thing to mine - killed the status bar.
Once I rebooted it returned, but I just decided to wipe the cache....just in case.
Weird...

I had problems too. Never got past the boot screen had to restore too . . .

FlyHigh Kernel v0.1
First: Thanks goes to LorD ClockaN he showed me everything and did the most in this kernel.
FlyHigh kernel - Features:
OC up to 1.7GHz
more frequencies
patched to kernel version 2.6.35.14
brazilianwax (smartass2) governor (default)
interactive governor
conservatice gevornor
powersafe governor
ondemand governor
userspace governor
performance governor
and more..
LorD ClockaN said:
Governors for NOOBS:
interactive - Instead of sampling the cpu at a specified rate, the governor will scale the cpu frequency up when coming out of idle. When the cpu comes out of idle, a timer is configured to fire within 1-2 ticks. If the cpu is 100% busy from exiting idle to when the timer fires then we assume the cpu is underpowered and ramp to MAX speed.
smartass - Is an improved version of interactive governor
ondemand – Available in most kernels, and the default governor in most kernels. When the CPU load reaches a certain point (see “up threshold” in Advanced Settings), ondemand will rapidly scale the CPU up to meet demand, then gradually scale the CPU down when it isn't needed.
conservative – Available in some kernels. It is similar to the ondemand governor, but will scale the CPU up more gradually to better fit demand. Conservative provides a less responsive experience than ondemand, but can save battery.
performance – Available in most kernels. It will keep the CPU running at the “max” set value at all times. This is a bit more efficient than simply setting “max” and “min” to the same value and using ondemand because the system will not waste resources scanning for CPU load.
powersave – Available in some kernels. It will keep the CPU running at the “min” set value at all times.
userspace – A method for controlling the CPU speed that isn't currently used by SetCPU. For best results, do not use the userspace governor.
brazilianwax - Very agresive version of smartass

Damn. Just check the MD5 sum, and it's not what you have in you download post. So, now it's clear why I can't get it boot up. Obviously, a bad download. Is there a way to get the device to the bootloader now?

Is there anyway that you could make the changes in an script, so we can apply them to other roms too (like MIUI)?
Thanks!
Mo.
P.s. I mean the once that you can obviously convert to an script (like noaccesstime and readahead)
Interesting! Who doesn't like "tweaks"!? Thanks

This should also work with any MIUI/CM7 ROM.
I dont use MIUI so I cant test it.
Make a Backup, flash the zip and test it. If it works, please report here, so i can update the post!

Not yet...but if you install a kernel, which supports voodoo color, you get a very nice colorprofile!
Thank you for this zip
I don't really see the reaseon to delete all these apps (except for the books app as this service is not available everywhere) so I'd love to know how to change this in your zip so I get the other tweaks but keep the apps.
What exactly does the VoodooColor stuff do?
Zipaligning on each boot? Is that really needed? I thought you'd do that once for all apks an then it's done and good...
Do the noatime, swapping, dritystate writeback and minfree tweaks have any drawbacks/problems?
I manually changed the DPI settings on my Desire once and some apps (like Frenzic) didn't like that too much...

I dont use these apps, so I delete it Maybe I upload a 2nd version (without removing apps)
VoodooColor -> see my last post
The zipaligning script checks if there are any NONzipaligned apps, if yes, they are zipaligned
No Problem here (so far)
Hm...i only decreased the dpi from 240 to 200 ... got no problems (so far ) I use this script for 2 weeks now

And what kernels support it?
I just tested on Miui. Its not fully working 100%. Status bar gets FC. The dpi works. But there are some misalignment

Erm, the only problem I have is the StatusBar and thats due to the density change. Could you please tell me what the original density is?
For everyone else, if you apply this tweak on your MIUI rom, it will "hide" the statusbar. You would need to change the density back to the original.
Edit: Never mind, found it. It is 233. Will post a link soon.
For MUI
Hello.
For MIUI users, I have *slightly* modified the zip file and have uploaded here:

There's no modified CM7 kernel at the moment, so there's no kernel which supports voodoo color
Thanks for your replies regarding MIUI.
Ive uploaded a ZIP for MIUI with standard density (233). Thanks to mofirouz!

Hi,
I´ve made a flashable zip with some Tweaks for our beloved SGS2.
Tweaks:
CM7 only: Permanent changed DPI to 200 (not changeable with init.d script, because of ro.)
Added zipalign binary
Zipaligneing on each startup
Europe GPS Config
VoodooColor preparation (will be automatical applied, if VoodooColor Kernel is installed)
Dalvik Heapsize 70m
CFQ Scheduler (including tweaks for non rotating storeage)
All partitions mounted with noatime (no accesstime when reading...saves quite alot diskusage)
SDCard readahead 2048kb (SdCard speed inc. by 2-3x)
Disabled swapping
Increased dirtystate writeback times (less battery usage)
Optimized Memory Settings (minfree)
WIFI scanintervall 3min
Windowevents set to 60 (much smoother scrolling)
Cleanup sqlite3 Databases on each startup
Click to collapse
isnt 64mb Dalvik Heapsize enough?
doesnt cm aready use cfq? what is rotating storeage?
why use noatime?relatime for system, sdcard and emmc is enough.data and chache already use noatime.
SDCard readahead 2048kb.high readahead always has drawbacks...for example increased disk i/o and ram usage...benchmarking with standard sd benches is pointless if u read from ram cause of readahead.it all depends on usage patterns.what is the standard readahead value?
Disabled swapping:did android ever swap? dont think so.
Windowevents set to 60 any drawbacks? higher cpu i/o and ram usage i guess.
Increased dirtystate writeback times (less battery usage)ls provide a figure.

64 vs 70: Why not give Dalvik a bit more room to work?
cfq is standard for CM7, but its set again to give all options needed for optimization... cfq is default optimized for rotating storage (like HDD) but sgs2 uses flash storage (no moving parts )
why use relatime..i dont need any accesstimes
sdcard readahead...we have enough ram+cpu power.. so why dont speed up the slow sdcard?
dunno if swap is enabled by default...gotta take a look later
windowevents 60: why dont enjoy smooth ui with all that power inside
higher writebacktimes means lower sdcard/cpu usage -> lower battery usage
This is my optinion for all the tweaks! If Iam wrong, please correct me

I never had any problems on any (of my 4) linux machines with noatime (but ill keep it in mind for android)

FAQ (Updated 5.9.12)

Q: What makes this ROM different than all the other ROMs?
A: First and foremost, you will get the best support from the viperROM Team (-viperboy- and Vinchenzop). We personally reply to almost every post and we're always in the thread trying to help out. If you have to wait more than an hour or so for your question to be answered, that is unusual! What else is different??
The inclusion of the OC Daemon for unprecedented battery life and performance
The custom viperControl script that handles the OC daemon, bloat, and removed app management (more to come too!)
A highly tuned system for incredible smoothness

Q: Do I really need to wipe coming from another version of viperROM?
A: I always recommend that and that is how I test my ROMs. You may be not have any issues if you don't wipe, but you might.

Q: Where are all the cool add-ons?
A: Check post 4 for more information on how to set up and use the viperROM Updater.

Q: What is battery calibration and should I do it?
A: Yes!! If you aren't getting wonderful battery life or you think you can do better, do it! Here is the method I have used even back to my EVO 4G and it has always done well by me: Wipe battery stats (from recovery, or Battery Monitor Widget can do it [Menu > Statistics] and it doesn't matter what percentage you're at when you do so. Let the phone die and then fully charge. Take it off the charger and don't plug it in until it dies again, then fully charge. Your next charge cycle will be much better!
What some people don't understand is that you're not calibrating the battery as you are calibrating the phone. When you wipe and do this procedure, the phone reads where the max and min voltages are so it can report battery stats accurately.

Q: What is the deal with tethering?
A: As of right now, native tethering isn't unlocked. The included WiFi Tether should work just fine. You may need to play with the settings, possibly enabling "Routing Fix" and "Enable MSS Clamping"

Q: Does 3D, 4G, everything work with this ROM?
A: Yes, everything works now. There may be a few bugs here and there because of the leak this was based on, but they won't be major bugs.

Q: I'm getting less than great battery life, what is the deal?

Q: Do any themes work with this ROM?
A: The only mods and themes that we can be sure will be compatible with viperROM are the ones that are found within the viperROM Updater app. If there is a theme that you would like to try, make a nandroid and try it. If it doesn't work, restore your nandroid.

Q: Where can updates be found for the ROM?
A: Updates can be found in the thread, or directly through the viperROM Updater app, refer to the 4th post for more information. As of right now, the Updater will not work on ICS. We will likely be switching to GooManager for updates because it has more features.

Adjust the OC Daemon
Change schedulers
Adjust voltage (if on a custom kernel)
Manage removed apps
Freeze any app on the phone - NOTE: Not available on ICS yet!
Modify lock screen text - NOTE: Not available on ICS yet!

OC Daemon
The OC daemon was created by rmk40 of Team Unity. I take no credit for the daemon, only the script I made to make it easier to work with. More information can be found here, but I will sum it up and explain the script below...
This daemon, written in C, completely eliminates the need for SetCPU and other CPU controlling apps. The daemon handles min/max frequencies for both screen on and screen off but it has one more trick up its sleeve... It can change the governor INSTANTLY depending on the screen state. I have tested it and I can tell you that it really does work instantly and I think this is going to be a great battery saver! I have set default values within the ROM as follows: Screen Off - conservative @ 192min/432max and Screen On - ondemand @ 192min/1188max. Using these settings, I get NO lag. Battery life is amazing, over 19+ hours for me with moderate usage!
If you decide that you want to change the settings of the daemon, here is how you do so...
Open up Terminal Emulator
Type "su" (without the quotes and grant it Superuser access if you haven't already)
Type "vc" (without the quotes)
Enter "1" (without the quotes) and you will see all of your options
Click to collapse
All the settings can be edited from there. If you want to verify that this is working, you can run these commands from adb shell:
Current CPU frequency
Code:
cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_cur_freq
Current CPU governor
Code:
cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_governor
Current min CPU Freq (you will see this change when the screen state changes)
Code:
cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_min_freq
Current max CPU Freq (you will see this change when the screen state changes)
Code:
cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_max_freq
The script is pretty good for now and I will eventually incorporate it into a large script exclusive to my ROM. However, here are a few things that you need to know about the script...
You MUST flash a custom kernel to overclock! The ROM includeds the stock kernel that is not capable of overclocking. Well why do you call it the "OC Daemon" then?? Because I didn't make it and that's what they called it AND the daemon is capable of controlling OC. Makes sense to me. If you want to overclock (after flashing a custom kernel, of course), run the script and change the MAX awake to whatever OC you would like.
The phone will boot up and detect if you're using SetCPU or other CPU apps. If you are, the daemon will be DISABLED automatically. If you aren't, the daemon will be enabled.

Roaming fix:
Ok...for anyone that flashed the roaming fix (From Duble08...theres something you didn't notice..it borked your 3d capabilities. The good news is, I found and fixed this issue, and also removed the GSM roam crap from the mobie network settings while I was at it. So heres the new fix, modded from Duble08's 'fix'. If theres any confusion about the new roaming settings menu, you want to be set on Automatic, not 'sprint only'. Sprint only WILL NOT ROAM, automatic will allow it to roam as it was intended
Roaming menu fix + 3d Fix

updated SU via goo.im got Superuser rolling, everything installing now. super smooth everything, nothing to complain yet except that.
rooted from revolutionary way back days ago, used that firmware update. not a hiccup.

Download the ROM below and place on your internal_sdcard or sdcard (doesn't matter, just remember where you put it!)
Go into Settings > Power > Fast Boot and uncheck that.
Turn the phone off. Once off, press and hold the Volume Down + Power Button until you reach the white bootloader screen
Choose "RECOVERY" (volume down and up to move, power to select)
You SHOULD make a backup by tapping on the "Backup" button. You are not required, but I would recommend it.
You also SHOULD manually wipe cache, dalvik-cache, and factory reset (wipe /data). This can be done by tapping on the "Wipe" button. Choose those 3 options (and even system if you want, even though the install script does that for you)
Choose "Install" and locate the ROM wherever you put it. NOTE: If you don't see it, make sure that either internal_sdcard or sdcard is mounted. This can be done via the "Mount" button at the main menu of TWRP. Be sure that either internal_sdcard or sdcard is checked!
Wait until the install is finished and then tap "Reboot to System"

FAQ (Updated 5.29.12)

A: Check post 4 for more information. More add-ons will be posted and available in GooManager in the future.

You may need to play with the settings, possibly choosing "Generic ICS" under device profile and enabling "Routing Fix" and "Enable MSS Clamping"

---------------------- Special Features of viperROM ----------------------
viperControl Script
This script is the main script used to control many features within viperROM. Currently with this script, you can:
Adjust the OC Daemon
Change schedulers
Adjust voltage (if on a custom kernel)
Manage removed apps
Freeze any app on the phone - NOTE: Not available on ICS yet!
Modify lock screen text - NOTE: Not available on ICS yet!
Run "fix permissions" (for FC issues)
Adjust the capacitive button brightness
Edit some features in build.prop
Manage the hosts file
Fix a damaged /misc partition

Type "su" (lowercase, without the quotes and grant it Superuser access if you haven't already)
Type "vc" (lowercase, without the quotes)
Enter "1" (without the quotes) and you will see all of your options
Click to collapse
All the settings can be edited from there. If you want to verify that this is working, you can run these commands from adb shell:
Current CPU frequency
Code:
cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_cur_freq
Current CPU governor
Code:
cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_governor
Current min CPU Freq (you will see this change when the screen state changes)
Code:
cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_min_freq
Current max CPU Freq (you will see this change when the screen state changes)
Code:
cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_max_freq
Here are a few things that you need to know about the script...

Installed and running it through its paces.
I had one issue where my BT pairings weren't working. I'd pair, then look back and the pairings were gone.
Rebooted/cleared cache/dalvik/fixed permissions seems to be ok now.
Speeds are good. Doesn't seem much faster than stock, but still working on it.
So far, stable. Gotta go out in a bit so I'll look at battery life and other stuff then, but it seems typical ViperRom at this point: Fast, stable, and wonderful.
Vin, get to work on battery percents and stuff!

Wow. You must be in your early twenties. Lol. Anyways thanks for this. I tried applying the circle battery mod on this Rom but didn't work because I forgot where I put the 3 xml files I needed before recompiling. I'll just leave that up to the professionals.

I used to be able to do that. Then something terrible happened.....I got old lol
Anyway, I'm dying to try this but I am having problems getting rooted. When it comes to root, do you do the HTC Dev unlock then run the root script here, or do just one of them?

Sofla, you're better than this...
Use the HTC unlock method, install a recovery, then flash...
HTC Unlocked, TWRP Recovery installed and 1st custom ROM installed. Not bad for 3 days after picking up this device. Restoring apps now and will see how this one compares to stock.

I spent most of yesterday trying to figure out what I've done wrong. I did the HTC unlock method, and that was the end of things that went right. I tried to install twrp because I read that cwm wasn't working. I installed su but there is no su binary. I'm thinking that is the problem, that I can't use superuser.

This rom is a try to provide a rom with less battery drain. Most roms are coming without real battery saving tweaks. So we created our own rom with lots of special tweaks. Some tweaks are based on already existing ones, but we wrote most of them ourself to get the most out of the Razr battery.
- STOCK-Kernel-Version -
ATTENTION: We have released untested CDMA-Version! If anyone here with a CDMA device wants to test, please provide some feedback. Thx!
Changelog 3.0.2
- Camera picture quality improved
- Overall Performance improved
- New themed Play Store (no more blue)
New Tweaks:
- V6-Supercharger integrated
- Performance switch modes included:
Open Terminal Emulator and type 'su', then type:
'game' - to activate high performance mode
'stock' - to activate batery saving mode
'scharge' - to configure V6-Supercharger RAM Management
You can use Script Manager to create oneclick-widgets on your homescreen to switch profiles.
This feature will be integrated in the system settings soon, Until then use the Terminal Emulator.

NEWS:
You can flash D-WiZ now directly to your Stock Slot (BMM ONLY for now).
NOTE: Just to be safe, when Aroma finished the installation DON'T reboot!! Untick the box "Reboot device" and click "Finish". Then go back to the main menu, got to "System Keeper" and select "Install Bootmenu to Stock Slot"!!!
D-WiZ is now available with AROMA Installer! Only for use with Bootmenu Manager 0.3.2
A tutorial for BMM is below!
There are several reasons to switch to BMM 0.3.2:
Much more tweaks - On virtual slots (e.g. SS3 Rom Slots, BMM System 3-6) some tweaks are causing bootloops and freezes
Better battery life
Better performance
Faster boot process
Aroma Installer
Because of that D-WiZ is now available in two different versions: One for Safestrap 3 and one for Bootmenu 0.3.2. The SS3-Version is kind of a "lite-version" because I had to remove several tweaks (were causing lots of issues).
The BMM-Version includes all tweaks, mods and advantages of D-WiZ, but please note that this version will only run on non-virtual slots!
There are several Patches and Add-Ons available in UpdateMe! You can find UpdateMe in the App Drawer.
The current version 2.0.3 can cause Bootloops on some devices. If you have that issue, please reboot (2-3 times) until it boots up completely, then open UpdateMe in the App drawer and download the D-WiZ-Init-Patch from Patches section. Flash it in recovery!
NOTE: If you are using the Undervolt-Patch: The voltage values will be overwritten by the Inid-Patch! You have to flash the Undervolt-Patch again after applying the init-Patch!
D-WiZ is undervolted by default. But you can set lower values for more undervolting. Just download the Undervolt-Patch from UpdateMe patches section and flash it in recovery.
NOTE: The values from the Undervolt-Patch values can be too low for some devices and causing crashes and freezes! If you get problems after flashing the Undervolt-Patch, just flash the Init-Patch to reset the undervolt settings. Now you can edit the 70uvoltc file inside the Undervolt-Patch zip Archive and try it out until you find good settings for your device.
The 70uvoltc file inlcudes some line which looks like the following:
0 100 825 > /proc/cpu_control/tweak_cpu
1 200 850 > /proc/cpu_control/tweak_cpu
2 300 875 > /proc/cpu_control/tweak_cpu
3 400 900 > /proc/cpu_control/tweak_cpu
4 600 950 > /proc/cpu_control/tweak_cpu
5 800 1000 > /proc/cpu_control/tweak_cpu
6 1000 1088 > /proc/cpu_control/tweak_cpu
Click to collapse
The red numbers are voltage values in mV. Just play around with +25 mV (or +50 mV) and test it. When it works without freezes or crashes you are good to go.

How to use Bootmenu Manager 0.3.0f
Download BMM 0.3.2 from Google Play.
.
Download D-WiZ_3.0.1_AROMA_XT910.zip
.
Boot into your Main Rom /Stock Rom
Open Safestrap 3 App and tick "uninstall recovery" <--- If you were using SS3
Unpack the BMM package on your computer
Plug in your device (USB with Debugging enabled)
Run the install.bat from BMM folder
Note: If there are displayed some errors while installation, doesn't matter. Just reboot and if you see BMM, it's ok. But if there is no BMM splash screen you have to install BMM again like described above (you may rstart the adb server before to prevent error)
Now you have to prepare your rom slots:
Reboot and when the BMM screen appears, tick "Settings".
Now Select a slot you want to use, open "Boot Mode" and untick: "2nd-Boot" and "Kexec".
.
If you want to use rom slot 2, please follow the instructions at the end of this quote (How to protect your 2nd Slot Cache)!
.
If you want to use the rom on your stock slot:
If you are coming from another rom, please perform a full wipe, wipe dalvik cache and formant system (in "mounts & format")
flash it directly to stock slot!
NOTE: Just to be safe, when Aroma finished the installation DON'T reboot!! Untick the box "Reboot device" and click "Finish". Then go back to the main menu, got to "System Keeper" and select "Install Bootmenu to Stock Slot"!!![/B]
Continue here when you want to use another Slot (Slot 3-6):
Go back and open "Partition Setup".
Create the slots (System, Datam Cache) with your preferred sizes.
Now go back to boot screen and select recovery.
In recovery switch to your created slot (under Recovery Switch)
Now flash the rom (as usual: "Install zip...") and enjoy AROMA
Now it reboots, hold on in splash screen (select settings or sth like that)
Now you have several options:
You can boot into the slot where you installed the rom.
NOTE: There can be bootloops for some reason only after first installation (still have to figure that out) so I would recommend you to use the rom on Stock or second slot.
To set the default slot to boot, boot into rom, open /system/etc/bmm with root browser and edit "bootmenu.prop":
#bootmenu
default=1 <--- Number for your rom slot!
Click to collapse
How to protect your 2nd Slot Cache (otherwise it doesn't boot after first time boot)
Reboot into recovery
Switch to slot 2
Flash the rom
Download this: Aromafs-1.80.zip
Plug in the device and select in recovery. "Advanced Options" --> "Mount as USB storage"
Rename the file to "Aromafm.zip" and place it on your internal storage in: /clockworkmod/
Plug off the device
Select "Filemanager"
Now press Menu button in right lower corner
Select "Open Console"
type in the following
Code:
tune2fs -O extents,uninit_bg,dir_index /dev/block/system
e2fsck -fDC0 /dev/block/system
Now you are ready to go with Slot 2!
Please try around and report issues here!

Llama-Profiles:
Here are Instrucions how to use Llama: http://kebabapps.blogspot.de/p/llama-handling-guide-instructions.html
Download Zip File: KLICK
Extract it and copy its content (the folder) to your EXTERNAL SD-Card.
Open up the Llama-App and press the "Menu-Button".
Select "Import/Export Data" and choose "IMPORT from SD-Card".
The profiles are now activated
Now you have to select your home Area on the LEFT tab. Press and hold on "Home" and select the option to detect your home location (some minutes should be enough)
Last thing is to select you home Wifi. Press the menu button and select settings (or options, dunno how its in English). Scroll down to experimental stuff, then choose check for Wifi Networks". Go back into Llama menu and select tab "Recent", search for you Wifi Network and press and hold it, now choose "Add to area" and select home.
IMPORTANT: Now go back into experimental stuff settings and DEACTIVATE the search for Wifi Networks option!
There are some "sync-Rules" in the Llama Profiles, they are experimental (background data sync on for 1 minute everx 20 minutes). Just deactivate or delete them if not needed (maybe they are causing partial wakelocks). But before you delete them, just have a look into them, so you'll see how complex this app can be customized!
Llama is now configured and active! Now you can add your own rules if you want.
Llama is VERY powerful! Have a look into its options and you'll find an option called "Llama Variables". They can be set to whatever you want. So there are very very complex rules possible! If configured the right way, Llama can also help saving battery a lot! Take you some time to learn how it works.
CAUTION: The profiles are made on a German device!! That means for any users from different countries, you must rename the area names in EVERY rule to your areas location names, or you rename your location areas to German: home = "zuhause", etc.., just look for the names inside the rules.

Wipe Data, Cache & Dalvik, Format System
Flash Rom
load the Llama Profiles (above) or make some by yourself
*GAPPS are integrated
If you are updating from prior D-WiZ version, usually just flash the zip WITHOUT ANY wipe - except for update from < 1.0.5, there you MUST perform a full system & data wipe!!
If you are using BMM check the how-to on the top of this post!
For non-EU users (if you notice battery drain or weird behavior with the rom:
If you notice battery drain or another issue do the following:
1. Download one of these kernels (try them and decide which one is the best for you):
Kernel 9th June
Kernel ICS latest
Place the kernel on your SD-Card
2. Now boot into Bootmenu recovery
3. Select "Firmware Falshing"
3. Select "Backup CID" and confirm with "Yes"
4. Select "Erase CID" and confirm with "Yes"
5. Now select "Backup Kernel"
5. Select "Flash Kernel (boot.img...)", select the boot.img file which you've saved on your sd-card before and confirm with "Yes".
6. If you haven't flashed the Rom yet, do it!
7. Reboot into D-WiZ Rom and enjoy!!
NOTE: If you want flash back your LATAM Kernel for any reason, go to recovery, select "Firmware Flashing" and "Restore CID" (You will find your backed up CID in /sdcard(-ext)/clockworkmod/Firmware/...". You will also find your backed up kernel in that folder!
This rom runs best when you DON'T change any CPU-related settings!
Please DON'T change any kernel parameters if you are not familiar with this stuff!
NOTE: after the each reboot all CPU settings will be restored to default (NOT Kernel- and other Tweaks!)
Sometimes the kernel sets the CPU to 300 min. If you should notice that, just let it be, the rom will set it back to 100 after some minutes. Also ALL frequencies are undervolted, so it won't eat much battery anyway.

Some suggestions:
Go to display and brightness settings, select auto brightness, customize and add 2 or 3 more steps (fill the values continuing)

Flashing! Interesting idea to make a ROM battery friendly. I have tested a lot of apps and tweaks to save some juice in my RAZR and I'd like to see your ROM in action.
sounds really good.. maybe try it sometime soon!

I suggest you to use BM 0.2.8 beta 2 (or 0.2.9a maybe, but 028 beta 2 should work). But if you want to get sure that everything works well you should use Safestrap 3 because I made this rom for use with it.
btw: SS3 is awesome!

I have already 2 systems on my phone. Is there an easy way to go from BMM to SS3 without changing first system? Never tried SS3 before.
And if I install 0.2.8 beta 2, do I still need to convert the rom? What are the steps after that? Wipe data, cache, dalvik and then install?
Thanks for your fast reply, hope I didn't put too many questions and may the force be with you
The force is with me all the time! lol
With BM beta 2 you have to convert but without selecting extra options. With BM 0.2.9 you don't have to convert, but better have a look into its thread to get the right information.
If you switch to SS3 your main system will stay. Your 2. system will be gone. But instead of that you can have 4 Systems (+ Main System = 5 Systems). In SS3 you are able to create "Rom-Slots". These slots can be created with custom space (for example: One slot with 3gb of data for daily use, one test Slot with 1gb of data for testing purposes). The Rom slots are located on your INTERNAL storage and App data is located on EXTERNAL storage (so you need an extra SD-Card, if you don't own one, you can keep your internal sotrage as app data storage using a small hack). And make sure you have some space left on internal storage.
SS3 is kinda easy to use. Once installed you will understand it for sure. But be sure that you remove BM completely from your device PRIOR installing SS3. An uninstaller for BM can be found inside the BM app. For further information check the SS3 thread.
I love it dtrail
Thanks
thank god

The data issue is related to your phone location. On EU devices data works fine.
Most of these issues you listed are related to CNA. So probably I am not able to fix them.
It was and still is hard work for me. So be patient. Thx.

If you bring me non-translated XML, i will translate it into russian.
Which camera app is in this rom? Motorola one or the Jelly Bean without flashlight and FullHD recording?
As to the battery Here are my screenshots...
It doesn't matter which camera app is used - hd video recording and flash won't work anyway. This is a kernel / driver related problem.
You own a Maxx or normal?
Btw: the rom also needs some time to settle in after installing. Give it 5-7 days to normalize its battery consumption.

Your Llama profiles dont work because conflict with russian lang in Llama (e.g. your zone "Zuhause" in my Llama called as "Работа")

Normal.
If you need flash then ZoomCamera is able to make pictures with flash - just select Torch mode for flash and the pictures will be taken with flash.
