I have a question that I don't know where to put, so I'll try here. Apologies if it's the wrong place, but I've been told that here I could actually get some valid answer.
So, I got this model:
Meteorit NB-7 (I tried to put a link of it, but seems that I'm yet not allowed )
- from my cousins who lives in Germany where this is bought. And all the instructions are in German. Since I don't know German and on the other side, I have no idea what purpose this thing has, I'd like to ask you some help
What can I do whit this? How can I get on the Internet on this one? Why do I need this SD card? I really got lost on this one, so please, any answer may help...Thanks

Hello. I have a problem with spv m1000. When I try to start it, it come to a position and want Cognito code which I don't know. Is there any way to remove that code, because i can't update ROM of spv m1000...Any idea

what the hell is cognito code? Have you tried starting the device without a simcard in it?

I don't know much about it personally but hopefully this will give you a better idea where to look.
You should try Googling and using the search function on this forum, and then provide us with more information ie Where did you get this phone from etc
Assuming you got it from a work place and you have permission to own it (ie legally) then perhaps you can ask the business for the code?
jadel nice link i was intrigued as to what a cognito code was, so i went and read it. Basically all he has to do is hard reset the device and then align the screen and then soft reset before the extended rom is installed then he should be able to reflash a new rom to it.

Please can anyone tell me where to find a good and stable ROM for flashing my HTC Tianxi T9188. My brother brought it back from China and left it with me. Unfortunately, I dont understand the Chinese language it came with and need to flash in an English ROM to be able to use the phone.
Its a shame that I have such a nice phone but cant use it due to the language issue.

Well I was actually hoping that you could point me to a link where I can download the ROM from. I have been searching through google but haven't really found any good one so far.

HTC Tianxi is the China only released version of the HD2. Some differences - CPU, RAM and TD-SCDMA. To me this seems a slightly lower spec'd phone than the HD2.
Check out pdadb.net - run pdacomparer. Doubt there would be any other language version's. At your own risk you could try some HD2 - built roms or ICS Andriod roms.
Thats the problem tx. I was hoping I culd get an English ROM for the HTC Tianxi T9188 and not have to experiment with the HD2 ROMs, considering that both phones have different hardwares. Thats the risk I dont wanna take cos of the possibility of bricking the phone. I did come across an Android ROM though but I can see CHS in the name of the ROM which tells me that it is still a Chinese ROM all the same.
Another problem I am facing is flashing the HardSPL for the Tianxi. It us using SPL 1.27.0000 and I cant find a hardspl flasher which is compatible with it. I have searched here and in other forums and Google and any other place you can think of, still nothing. Have tried the ones I have seen online and always met an error. Any help here will be most appreciated.

If you have SD Card try loading (SD version) in the root and (MAGLDR) boot etc. If that works then it may take NAND versions.
Other than experiment, sorry cant be of more help.
I have tried all the hardspl flashers I can find in the thread you gave ... from HSPL to HSPL4. Non of them could work for the Tianxi. All gave the same BAD ID error and wont flash the HardSPL.
Please help me anyone ... I am getting frustrated by this

i've got a problem with my phone, which i bought on Aliexpress. it says, that it is rooted in CPUz but when i install another app to check it, it says that it isn't. Also i can't get GPSfix. is it any possibility to check it another way if it isn't broken or if it has got GPS?
also how could i root it and install better ROM?

Hi everyone, I am new here and I have a simple question to ask: Does exist a custom rom for my device: Orange Zali ? I ask this because I don't know what was in my head when I bought it ( maybe it cost me 50$ ) and since then it's laggy and very slow and I heard that a custom rom improves performance...I don't know what to believe now. I'm in need of the stock rom for this phone but the old links for the zte website aren't working they probably changed them, and on the new webpage every ZIP I download is corrupted, no matter which country, no matter if I do it on a different computer, they are probably broken on the server so I can't use them.

Root it
Install recovery
Find correct ROM and install it
Please do not send me search forum as I did that for long time but I find those unit confusing since they are after market and have no idea about brands or model numbers. Here is mine:

1. You are in the wrong forum, you have a MTCD unit. This forum is for MTCB/MTCC units. You are in the correct area,

You need not to root your device, the ROM will do it for you.
Make sure you understand you can make your unit bricked. MTCD seems to be most unreliable in some cases.
You CAN NOT make it a MTCC or MTCB.. Don't use those ROMs.
You can go back to FACTORY if you have the ROM image.
Malaysk just released if I recall a new rom a few days ago. 1024*600 only I think. Since I do not own a MTCD, I have no use looking into that area much.
