Launcher Pro - Change number of dock items from 5 to 4? - Galaxy Y GT-S5360 Themes and Apps

I wanna change the number of docks I currently have from 5 to 4 (just personal preference). If possible, I don't wanna switch launchers. Is there a way around this?
Also, I'm rooted.
Thanks!

[Q] General Eris Question

Hello everyone : )
Is there anyway to reduce the amount of screens from 7 to something smaller like 5 or 3? I have a rooted copy of 2.1 and I don't want to use any of those 'theme' apps like aHome or anything unless someone knows of one that doesn't bog down the phone. I'm more interested in a different ROM's,
Thanks in advance for any help!
I'd go out on a limb and say that only ADW and LauncherPro consistently provide the fastest, most stable home launcher applications. Have plenty of customization options including how many screens (ADW stock is 5 and LP is 3). They both have free versions, while LP has a Plus version with a few more options. Try them out and see if you like them. Worst case scenario is you lose 5-10 minutes of playing around with them.

Gingerbread on Launcher Pro

Okay guys, what I'm trying to do is use Launcher Pro on MIUI with a Gingerbread dock. The thing is, on Launcher Pro, you only have 3 pages to begin with, is there anyway to increase the number of pages?
Also, one more thing. On Gingerbread, they have those two "dots" things on the sides of the dock and the dots change accordingly to the page you're on, I also wanted to implement that in Launcher Pro, as well. Does anyone know how I can do all this?
I basically want the dock to act and look exactly like the Gingerbread launcher dock. So how do I do this using Launcher Pro?
I would just use the Gingerbread Launcher, but LauncherPro performs a lot better and has a lot of other stuff I want.
Thanks in advance.
While on your home screen, pores the menu key, preferences.....go to home screen settings to change the number of screens and go to either appearances or advanced settings for the dots.....check every setting on there and customize to your liking.

[Q] Is it possible to set different number of screen beside the default 5 screens?

Just got the TFP and I'm new to the Android interface...by default it was set to 5 home screens. I was wondering if it is possible to set the number of screen we want to have?
Don't think so in the stock launcher but many replacement launchers in the market can. I use adw ex personally and you can put as few or many as you like.
I use Nova Launcher, it is an improved version of the ICS stock launcher.

Any way to change dpi without rooting?

My guess is no, but here's hoping. I am coming from an original Note, which I have had rooted for a while and run a ton of different roms on. I honestly really didn't want to root this note 3, but I am finding the dpi to be a bit unbearable. I liked to run 240dpi on my note, with nova launcher this allowed me to go 7 icons wide and 8 or 9 tall without much of a problem. I have no need for that many icons on my home screen, but it allowed for more widgets, or maybe just a few icons and still being able to see the majority of my background picture.
I already put nova launcher on my note 3, so I am able to get the same icon grid size, but it just looks so tight and the icons are huge.
This is also a problem for texting. On the note(using stock android messaging app)I could easily see the last 3-5 messages even with the keyboard open. One the note 3, I can see one or maybe 2 of the last messages with the keyboard open, and as I start to type a new message I'm lucky if I can even see all of the last message sent.
I just don't get why they give you such a big screen then clutter it with huge icons and texts/keyboards and things. Sure its great for movie and web browsing, but that huge screen really doesn't do much for day to day use I don't think because they scaled up everything else at the same time.
One of my friends said on his Note 2 there was a way to change the resolution(he said resolution, not sure if he meant that or dpi) and also a way to change the amount of icons touch wiz allows. I did think there was a way to change the number of icons in touchwiz. Its default is 4, I was pretty sure 5 was possible and even though they had recently bumped it up to 6, but I could not find that option anywhere.
Any help?
I used Nova Launcher to resize the icons on an unrooted Note 2. I don't know if that's still the case on the Note 3 since I don't have one yet.
I can resize widgets with nova, but I don't think you can resize icons.I mean I was able to change the grid size, but they looks so big and clustered together than on my note at 240dpi
What's the point of such a beautiful screen!

I know how you feel. I'm also thinking of getting note 3 (now i'm with N7000) but with all the stuff so huge it really is ugly (i wouldn't want to root either). If you find a solution please let me know!
As far as I can tell you would need to be rooted to change the dpi. They are accessed through the system file build.prop.
If you go into nova launcher settings and long press volume down you can access hidden features to allow more grid space which allows more widgets. You could also change the icon size rake them smaller.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you have more questions.

[Q] Application profiles?

Is there an app or tool out there that does the following?
I'm looking for something that, say, in one profile, launches apps 1 and 2, has widgets 3 and 4, and maybe launchers 5, 6 and 7, but I can tap a button to switch to a new profile that kills all that. Will Themer let me do this? I'm not sure how it works.
I want to do this because I want to have two different "themes" on my Nexus 7, one very plain and near-default, another that replicates the interface from Sword Art Online.
