Will this Qcell extended battery fit i717 Galaxy Note? - AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note I717

Will this Qcell extended battery fit i717 Galaxy Note? I searched around and the i717 is the same form factor as the N7000
http://www.amazon.com/QCell-Samsung...2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1328523495&sr=1-2

Make sure you don't care about NFC before ordering 3rd party batteries & covers that are not specific to the i717 - the NFC antenna is affixed to the battery cover in the AT&T GNote.

I have already purchased some spare batteries (not extended) for the international Note, hope they fit my At&t note. I assume they will. Not sure if I'll really need them, since apparently the note will come with a spare battery...

Here is the extended battery by Qcell for our phones:

I took the bait.
For less than 20 bucks I'll bite, just ordered it. I'm not so much concerned with form as I am function. Give it a few days to get here and i'll review it after a few full cycles.

I just hope this battery is semi decent, 4150 seems reasonable compared to the others who advertise as 5000 and what not.

The cover probably wont fit

Mugen Power 3200mah Extended Battery

Saw a thread about this battery in the normal Galaxy S2 section, but not here.
I purchased this battery on ebay for about 85 bucks shipped. I haven't run any tests or even cycled the battery yet, but the results are definitely worth the money I paid.
I popped the battery in on Saturday, it was at 60%. I use blue tooth streaming music about an hour throughout the day, data on, face book and email syncing, etc. I got 2 days 20 hours before the phone hit 18% battery. I just fully charged today to 100%, made 3 15 minute phone calls, and some browsing. It took an hour and a half before the battery went down to 99%.
The Mugen Power back plate is actually pretty good too. The grooves give a really good grip. The kick stand is awesome as well, even though it does feel like cheap plastic. The added width to the phone makes it better to hold as well.
Best part, it's an NFC battery so no boot looping.
Only down side so far is there's definitely no case for this thing.
If you don't mind shelling out a few bucks to have your phone last a few days, GET THIS BATTERY! The added weight and size is really not that serious.
Man 85 bucks is a lot of money lol. I dont know if you can fuse 2 batteries like you could with the captivate but i would rather go that route as im sure you could.
there's a couple 3500mah batteries as well, and they are phenomenal! I've gotten 2 days of heavy use and over 8.5 hours of screen time. I agree with OP, worth buying. And I these are cheaper.

Yes I would also like a link.
I don't think Mugen makes a 3500 battery or a cheap battery if that's what your asking for a link for. I believe Slatestud is referring to the cheap Hyperion, GTMax, and other cheap Chinese batteries which seem to be performing well for the money. What Slatestud doesn't realize is that the OP is more or less against buying those batteries.

Yea. Extended batteries work great. Especially for the money. I love mine. Im getting about 2 days medium-heavy use, and 8-9 hours screen time with the GTmax. What about the Hyperion?
I got the GTMax 3500mAh battery for Christmas and while the tabs on the back suck (some broke off, the back needs to be squeezed on to the phone to work) the battery is absolutely amazing. Almost 2 days constant use without charging.
I did send bluemall an email about this and they replied with some horribly broken english response basically telling me to screw off when I asked for a new plastic back because mine was messed up. Here's a link to it but for $12, you cannot go wrong with this.

They all look enormous, the Mugen looks the least obtrusive but still I'm afraid I will hate turning my sleek GS2 into a humpback whale.. I wish I could see these 3200-3500mah batteries w/cases in person, I'd love to double my battery life but the photos of these extended batteries really turn me off
Here's a informative review of the Mugen on YouTube..
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WLLNFWehfl8&feature=youtube_gdata_player
Ive bought cheap batteries and ive bought the mugen. I wont buy cheap batteries again. You can easily get 4-5 days standby with minimal use, by the time you realise its been a few days since you charged your phone you still have 25% left, and it takes ages for this to go down, so I've never been stuck with a dead phone.
The added weight and bulk to phone is a bonus to me, in standard form the phone is too light and flimsy feeling, to me the extra weight feels better in the hand. Im actually selling my mugen (upgraded to S3), only 6 months of minimal use, still in great condition if anyone is interested.

There are a few problems with that.
1) international note tabs are larger and therefore will require modification to work
2) no NFC. Sure, it's disabled now, but soon it will be available for use.
3) Does not look the same. It says Samsung, not Galaxy Note. That's more personal preference.

the issue is not so much as cheap batteries, but the lack of NFC on the cheap batteries.
Samsung's site has no listings for anything of value beyond GG and S-View covers, no batteries, no cases, no nothing.

The Anker battery seems way to expensive than the past batteries I bought from them for some reason or maybe I'm used to their bundle. 2 batteries and 1 charger for $30 or something like that.
I'm not going for the anker for four reasons:
1. They're made in China, and the Samsung ones are usually Korea (still trying to exhange my Note III for a Korean Model
2. They're uglier than the OEM ones (I carry these in my pocket and swap daily throughout the day, I want them to look decent)
3. They don't include a carrying case (my Note II batteries did, which helps protect the moisture warranty-void stickers from getting wet, which happened to my S3 batteries without the cases (I carry contact cases in the same pocket as batteries at work)
4. They don't have the option to come with that super cool portable battery charger from Samsung or something equivalent. God that looks awesome for on-the-go charging!
SO Samsung, PLEASE RELEASE THE KRAKEN... err.. Batteries. Release the damn batteries already. and soon :fingers-crossed:

What I don't understand is how third party companies are releasing batteries with higher mAH percentages, but Samsung only released theirs with a 3100mAH battery. Wouldn't it be cheaper just to purchase a small external battery to charge when not in use. At least, that's what I do. But! If these do work then I would definitely pick on up.

seems too good to be true.
i agree with some other users. how can they increase 1/3 power and not increase size.
also, take a look at the sellers bad feedback. they ALL state the extended batteries they purchased did not last as OEM batteries.
I'd steer clear.

I only trust
mugen and worcell batteries providers, however, since the Note 2 battery was great, i did not need a larger capacity.
Just got my Note 3 and waiting for PDAIR case before using it full time and the battery seem pretty good as well.
In all honesty, I one minor update that I wish the Note 3 had was a battery >3500mah. look at the jump from Note 1 2500mah to Note 2 3100mah to Note 3 3200mah.
still is a better than average decent size though.
Mugen is considered an over rated battery peel back the label on them plus 100 dollars for a battery, most people don't keep a phone longer than 6 months. yeah rip off there are countless threads about this everywhere.
It's just like zero lemon vs mugen.
With the note 2 so many people have talked about this but for price over performance it only makes sense to pay $40 and get 3 times the capacity of the original verses 2 times the capacity and sixty dollars more then the ZL battery.
