Beats are like Jordan's , they are expensive for the name and the style , I would recommend Bose 100% over beats and you can find them cheaper as well....

You know how I know when someone knows nothing about audio?
When they buy anything buy monster. Eg. The Monster Beats.
They are awful for the price. You can get the Audio Technica M50s instead at a lower price and they have much better sound quality.
The beats have awful mids and highs, poor instrument seperation, unbalanced lows, and they are priced like high quality head phones. Which they are not.
I work for probation and my kids can't get enough of the Beats. 'Nuff said . . .
I've heard good things about the studio, but the same source told me the pro and the solo are garbage.
You can buy them refurb at monster.com I believe for a fraction of the price.

Yeah but they're still made by monster. The only headphones I would even consider would be some of the turbines.
If you guys need to buy headphones because they're cherry red and have a "b" on them. Then by all means go for it.
But if you're looking for quality headphones with good sound stage and audio performance, look at:
Audio Technica, Denon, Sennheiser, Superlux, Grado, Fischer, AKG and Beyerdynamic.

You could easily say Bose is in the same boat with Beats in the expensive for the name and style department. Shure, Sennheiser, Audio Technica and Klipsch make better in my personal opinion.

I'll be getting an Evo 3D as soon as it gets released here in the UK since my contract is up.
Having loved the official Desire Car Upgrade Kit, I was wondering if anyone knows if there is an Evo 3D version planned or knows of an equally great alternative?

He is referring to an official HTC car dock, not a third party product(iGrip).
There is an official HTC car dock..I bought it from best buy 3 days ago..its pretty solid quality..damn thing is like $60 though

Not at all, suction is the only method to secure this HTC car dock. The only other option would be to utilize the 3M disk to mount on your dashboard.

That's the one I'm after. Much like the Desire one which I have on the dash rather than suctioned to the windscreen.

I bought the SEIDIO INNOTRAVELER for my 3D. It seems stronger than the alternatives and works a charm.
I did have to make adjustments to the 3D to get it to work flawlessly with a Car Dock with Tasker. I'll upload my scripts if anyone wants them...
Most importantly, I found a utility called Bluetooth Fix Repair in the Market that finally forces the phone to link to my Bluetooth the moment it's docked.

See I agree I love the design of the one x and one s. But I don't understand why. HTC insists make that damn camera protrude out. Apple and Samsung do just fine with out that non sense ( no pun intended and.the have some of the most epic cameras out.

Hate that so much. The lens on my Evo 4G was scratched up a couple of months after I bought it. I suppose I could lay it screen down on my desk, but then I have to keep flipping it over to see anything. At the very least, make the lens scratch-resistant, or recessed enough to not scrape across the surface it's on.
And I prefer the looks of the AT&T version of the One. The Sprint version is just another plain black slab -- why do we get such ugly phones on Sprint?? Still gonna get one though

How do you figure that. Rim isn't going down hill because of bad hardware. There going down hill because of outdated software. Rims 9930 is a solid preice of hardware. Now if they catch up on the software front that would help them tremendously, maybe look into bigger screens for there next Gen phones. HTC has solid hardware and beautiful software. Just to much implementation of sense IMO.

HTC had a huge hit in 2010 with the Evo. They had a down year in 2011 (how do you follow up the Evo???), but they're generating a lot of hype with this new One line. I don't think they're going the way of RIM. And by the way, smart move if they're going to concentrate on a single line of phones rather than pushing out a new, differently named phone every month.

Your not screwed at all. I thought I was when my left ear bud was not working until I called HTC and there giving me a free pare of ibeats if I send in my defected ones.

No I already called them and got it set up and had HTC send the shipping info to my mom's email. Gave them to my mom to send in and she left them in her purse and my little sister stole them to use. When I come home a couple days later I find this

I actually just did both, LOL. My earbuds died and I contacted HTC. Then didn't hear from them for quite a while, so just ordered these @ $38.

Ok, just received my OEM iBeats yesterday, and they were in new condition. The protective adhesive plastic was still on them. $40 - not bad.
Very happy to have them again. Aside from the bass boost, they definitely have a better overall output compared to my Ultimate Ears, which were about $100. Can't remember the model number/name.

Klipsch are pretty good. Def better than the ibeats and they are the same price or less
I have a pair of Skull Candy "FIX" earbuds that I won in a contest at work. Sound decent and have great bass response. Not really a headphone kinda guy but they do the job.
MAKE IT SO NUMBER 1.
Other than the awesome camera, and slim unibody design, this Evo LTE really isn't that much better than my old Photon. I'll probably feel differently when LTE is live, but considering there's not even WiMax in Wisconsin, it wasn't that much of an upgrade.
However, Sprint made a mistake and said I was eligible for an upgrade 7 months into my 2 yr contract, and my charging port on the Photon broke...so I'm not really complaining
Basically, if it's time to upgrade, go for it...but if your phone is only a year old, or less, I'd wait - unless you're in a first wave LTE market.

I get what the op is saying about the not worth it if the phone you have is a yr old or less. He is one of the few people that obviously don't upgrade to every increment.
And that he liked his photon enough just like a lot on the 3d couldn't see the point in upgrading to this email phone. Now until we get some hd apps other then hulu the screen is nice. I netflix hd would be a improvement as well as hulu in hd. I have no clue what performance is like on the photon. When it came out it was full of lag. And besides he was giving his thoughts switching from one to another right place meh maybe he could have put it I will another thread bu yeab.

That's how I feel when ppl say stuff like this.. Besides the lack of LTE atm what phone hardware wise is better.. Even with the gs3 u may get more ram (which is nice) but u lose the metal unibody and overall better build
This phone is a major step up from most of Motorola's phones which use crappy screens.
It's also the smoothest HTC phone I've had, and the audio is actually better than the iPhone that it replaced, and that is saying a lot because HTC headphone outs have always been crappy to me

My beats tours sound great.. They did a good job with that especially compared to the evo 3d.. Oh yea the tours are fake too.. Got duped but they sound great to me and are indistinguishable from the real ones unless u really have a good eye

Feel for you man!! Mine has a crack on the bottom left hand corner of the screen. Not affecting the display. I sent it of to the guy who fixes phones for the company I work for and he came back with a quote for £140. No way in hell I was going to spend that much since I plan to relegate the S to my back up phone once the 2013 flagships appear.
Yours looks like its finished though. I'd suggest getting another S because the price has fallen so sharply now rather than the T. From the few rumours of what's coming next year, quad core s4 pro, 1080p, 2gb ram and probably 16mp camera, I'd suggest you don't sound big bucks now until next year.

Yours looks like its finished though. I'd suggest getting another S because the price has fallen so sharply now rather than the T. From the few rumours of what's coming next year, quad core s4 pro, 1080p, 2gb ram and probably 16mp camera, I'd suggest you don't sound big bucks now until next year.

It turned out that I had the phone under insurance policy, I don't remember signing anything, but hey. Tomorrow I will be receiving a replacement for 15€.

Damn good work on the insurance. No phone would survive something like that. Next time pay attention when you walk up the stairs. Just the other day some moron walked into the pole separating the two doors in the room where I work because they were looking at their phone and not paying attention. I had a good laugh though.

the screen assembly is about 150 bucks on ebay prob better as parts
