its simple to overcome.... open up the ph***.zip and edit the android text to reflect 2.01.605.11 that way you can go back to gb if you choose to
for instance all of my roms will have the new ota mainver so flashing back and forth wont cause any issues
nice to have such a high-end developer in the rezound forums....lol down side is this guy is gonna set the bar pretty freaking high
i just took a quick look at the android text for this rom and I need just say for the record......
make SURE you back up your internal storage.... this is set to format it ... this isnt joelz doing ... its how ics came to us and unless the file is edited you will get formatted
What does the Sony Bravia Engine do for our phones? And yes, I too would agree with seeing some screens of this rom. Thanks
Just to be 100% sure I shouldn't have a Main ver error if I got the phone with the OTA already on there and am currently on a ICS rom(with no real install issues), right?

Auto brightness is terrible on the play, i want a notification widget to toggle diff modes like the one in cyanogenmod

Not running it at all yet but I intend to run it on R800a 2.3.4.
Don't know of this is common knowledge and I've just missed it but I've got the version with 12 toggles including brightness and assuming this is the same if you press and hold the toggle it takes you straight to the relevant settings page.
Found this by accident so hope it helps anyone else who didn't realise.

What is it?
This theme allows you to make your homescreen look like the windows 8 metro. It also themes your notifications pannel and taskbar to fit with the MetroUI.
What is it compatable with?
This theme is compatable with GalaxyTask and Overcome 3G and ICS

My website is brand new and still in beta so i shall be working on it to clear out any bugs.

yeah just only download the tiles pakage and then follow the setup instrucions same for if your on overcome
you jsut wont have the widgets
you could extract them out of my other file and then install them manually if you want
just not the music one
but the pulse and clock will work
Kudos on the web site and your work on the theme. I am switching ROM's right now to galaxy task14 slim, so hopefully tomorrow I can load this theme up!

not sure its the new systemui.apk also ill work on themes...the 1x and 3g are like that on gnexus miui to i guess its the way theyre going

Just saw on android central that CM9 released some source code for the sensation, does that mean anything for us and getting things added to Miui v4? I always seem to hear about how we get things ported to us from the sensation. Just curious

I just flashed this Miui V4, launched Titanium backup and was told i don't have root, is there something i need to run to fix this? I noticed SuperUser wasn't installed, installed that from the market, got the same result when launching Titanium.

Anyone else having Wireless Tethering errors? The HotSpot crashes when I try to open it, and I downloaded WiFi Tether and it crashes as well. I suggest adding "Wireless/HotSpot Tethering" to the "Not Working" section in the OP.. That's a huge deal breaker for me, and hopefully it will be fixed in the distant future. Until then, back to MeanROM..

You don't use ChainsDD superuser. MIUI has its own SuperUser. Look in the Tools folder on your homescreen. You enable the ability for an app to request Root using that.
FYI don't use boot manager. You'll have to restore.

Hello once again XDA, So i decided to go back to sense 3.6 briefly and very quickly got bored of the stock clock....again, so I changed it and thought I would share.
Although these are skins mostly everything is stock other than the clock tbh.

If you some how manage to break you device by installing this then myself and XDA take no responsibility.
I'm currently using genesis ROM and due to the modded HTCclockwidget.apk it is sized nicely results will vary on this!!!!

I finally took the plunge last night with one of the new Sense 4 roms by Virus and now I see why everyone is fond of Sense 4. It just looks nice and polished!!! Can't wait to see what you guys can do theme and skin wise for Sense 4. Keep up the good work! All of us appreciate your efforts and artistry!!

Yes I've actually made a few of those widgets I'm about to release another one I'm almost done...
Those aren't real sense 4 clocks they are look alikes that don't actually flip. I still like them though...
Beat me too it. Lol they are nice but the clock is just one of the things we need an updated m10 editor for.

No the great virtuous developers engineered it but I think HTC have locked it up tight on sense 4.0

I don't much guys, but I do know those clocks you have above would be bad ass in Sense 4 even if they were the fake clocks that actually don't flip!!! Just saying!!!

Hopefully HTC will pull their heads out of the sand one day and embrace Developers from every corner and nuke their stubborn ways of locking down what should be an open environment!!!
