Love this game on my Droid 3. I was able to download the version from the Amazon App Store onto my TFP but it crashes ~50-60% of the time.
Anyone having any luck, or found a version that works well with the FTP?
Sad to say but the HD version that hasn't been officially released (yet out for at least half a year) runs perfectly. I use that one instead of my amazon app store version.
Just google plants vs zombies hd.

I think I read somewhere that it needs a qHD resolution or higher. So I think that my phone, an Atrix, should run fine. But I haven't tested it.

Agreed, I was able to find a copy of Plants vs Zombies HD 1.1, but after installation it just closes every time I try and open it.

I installed the HD version 2 days ago and already went through adventure mode start to finish without a single FC. It definitely works on the Prime (as well as the original Transformer). You might have gotten a bad download.
yeah i got a version, mine says v1.1 and it works prefectly, been playing for a while now, i'm on level 4-2 and no fc

Hmm...pardon me, my download says v2.4, but after just checking in the installed apps it says 1.0.0...strange. but ya 1.0.0 works very well lol

So, in all my searching I can find nothing to suggest anybody has gotten any of the Netflix apks out there to work on the Galaxy Tab 10.1 running HC 3.1. Am I correct? Is there no mod that can be applied to coerce it into working?

Darn. I'm wondering if its even possible at this point given that nobody has been able to do it thus far. Which leaves us all waiting until Netflix decides to support our chipset.
You can always get PlayOn and stream it through your pc. That's what im doing. Works wonders.

That's not true. PlayOn is the software that runs on the PC. You can access all that content long as your tab has a wifi or 3g connection. Just leave your PC on.

Good thing Best Buy has a 15 day return window. Tablet without netflix is worthless. I'll wait and buy something newer down the road once netflix is supported if there's no support in 14 days.

I think I might be leaning the same way, especially since the GT10.1 doesn't have access to Google Movies either. I love the tablet. The look and feel are wonderful. But few tablet optimized apps and no Netflix makes me sad.
Well for those giving up on the tab becasue of Netflix .. all I have ot say is to each his own. At least I can watch Netflix on my phone if needs be. And I'm sure it will come sometime later. I can look at Hulu instead for now.

I couldn't get Hulu. I either got a message telling me to upgrade my Flash or that the site didn't work with my device. I used the debug option to set my browser to Desktop and everything. Just wouldn't work for me.

An awesome $80 replacement for something I have for free (no counting the netflix monthly fees) on my Android phone
its featured in the tegra zone, but when i go to download it, it says GTA 3 isnt comptable with my device!!!!

Probably just needs a market parameter date, these apps are selective device inclusion, not exclusion. Give it a few days/weeks.

Might just have to wait for an update. Bear in mind that the Prime didn't exist as a device to support when GTA was released a few weeks back. They just have to add support, which is real quick and easy. Just support the name in the build.prop. Be patient, I mean, if my Motorola Triumph can play GTA, the Prime would do it with it's companion core lol.
Look it up in the google market online. There are multiple versions, for different devices. One should work yours.
Got it installed on my prime and download 428mb data now, will report back if it actually works...
Was also bummed out that I couldnt find Real Racing 2 HD (just got released today) on the market but i guess our device is too new to be supported just yet... And no gameloft games seem compatible yet either.

The first one says "incompatible with all your devices" and the one you linked says (for me in Norway) "incompatible for some of your devices"... it works on my HTC Desire HD, but not on the Transformer Prime.. wtf?!

The one I linked to now shows incompatible for me, and also says 'Installed'. It still runs fine.
They must have changed the compatibility settings; they did the same for the Sims Freeplay game and it took them a while to make it compatible again.
Fully compatibile in Poland. No issues ...nice game!
I just switched from EOS to Virtuous, and all of a sudden MEI doesn't work. I'm kinda bummed.

The issue I have found (In US) is that stock based ROMs normally have no problems but AOSP based ROMs sometimes have issues being compatible with games. A quick nandroid over to a stock ROM, download Game/App, backup from titanium, nandroid back to AOSP ROM, restore from titanium, and PROFIT! YRMV but I haven't had any issues doing this.

The strange thing is that I went the exact opposite route (EOS is AOSP-based, and Virtuous is stock-based) and it went from working fine to not working. It tells me that it is incompatible with my device when I try to run it.

That's the same what I experienced: Compatible with my Galaxy Tab but NOT with my Transformer prime.
I got the APK via other sources and the game runs great and smoothly with the Prime!

Ahhh, right, I am running the modified build.prop from the Dev section, WW Stock JB, Unlocked, Rooted. Anyone else in having this issue? I suppose it would hurt to restore my original buld.prop and see if that makes a difference.

On custom rom. my build.prop is modified. Looks like it is a driver problem on asus or nvidias side. Wonder if any tf700s or 300s are able to play it??

Not sure what the different is, you could ask the dev Mr. Wookie.....
On the web version it shows compatible with my Prime, but on the prime itself it shows not compatible. Purchased on the web, going to refund now because this is silly. running Stock JB (rooted and all that).
I just installed HB and still showing not compatible. Ah well let's hope Asus and Nvidia get us an update soon.

im on HB and i found it online and sideloaded it. it works fine so im not sure why its not compatible with our primes.
i tried to buy and it wouldnt let me so i found one online. this is the first app i did not buy. i am a big dev supporter and i was willing to shell out the $6.99.
OK, I am sure I have read something about modifying the Bulid.Prop file to trick the Play store into thinking you have a different device? (or was I dreaming) Does anyone know how to do this?
