I have a stock rom(2.3.5 gingerbread) en rooted my phone . I put the widget time on my homescreen but every other day it displays the wrong time and day.
The only solution i have is to delete it and place a new one.
Is there a other solution for this problem?
you have to change in the settings of the widget wich time it has to show... like in germany its UTC+1:00

I noticed a month or so ago that when I dragged an icon or widget to remove it from the home screen, it would still re-appear in its original spot and have to be dragged off again.
I thought this must be a glitch that meant the sw wasn't recognising the drag removal every time, so paid no attention to it.
However, now that I' having real battery problems I thought I'd investigate every little aspect. So now I'm wondering if there's a bug that causes this "doubling up" each time you overwrite a scene when saving it.
E.g. let's say you have a scene called "Work" ... you add a couple of new icons and another widget ... save it with the same name "Work" ... switch to "Social" for the weekend ... return to "Work" on monday morning ... everything looks as it should, but there's a hidden layer of identical icons and widgets underneath your visible ones.
Ok, this might just be a bug and caused no hassle at all. But what if it does cause some apps to double up their CPU usage as well? Or it creates a conflict in certain app settings? Don't know how that's possible ...
What say you guys? Anyone else noticed this?

i have problem with my location and weather on home screen.
im from slovenia and my locatin worked very well till now.
Suddenly it started showing budapest on my homescreen but its is capital of other country and was one of favourite cityes in weather tab.
my location still works fine in weather tab but on home screen it shows only budapest and doesnt change whereever i go....
i tryed soft reset many times and sense reset but doesnt help...

what may have happened (and this happened to me till i figured out what i did) is you might have went into the world clock by accident and might have changed your location...so go there and see what's checked.

On my home screen I have the "Digital clock" widget running.
Sometimes it shows a wrong (random) time, although the time showing in the topbar (notification area) is right.
Anyone know why this is or how to fix?
Maybe it is related with the "clear memory" function in the task manager as I do this often and seems to reload all the widgets when done.

It happened to me too. The time just froze. I tried to see if it is connected to the Clear Memory, but it is not. So I simply downloaded another clock widget and replaced it
This happened to me after I started using Launcher Pro.
If I removed and re-added the widget, it would be fine for a while before freezing again.
Try Simi Clock... its great!
I had the same problem as stated in another thread, so I unchecked the automatic provided values from network and its been fine since then

Yeah I also have this problem and I just remove widget and re add, it's nothing major though.
Will try disabling automatical provided values as the other poster suggested, afterall you only need it once to set up the clock

just wanna confirm is the widget list (at home screen after long press) have a maximum number f widget?
cause i cant find my colornote widget in it no matter how many times i reinstall the programme. i am not sure y it wont shown up on my widget list.
any1 encounter the same problem?

Hey guys, I'm having a problem with my HTC time and weather widget. It hadn't done it before until I updated my stock with goodies Rom recently. The weather shows unable to display current weather. But when I click it the thing updates . I set the settings to show real time weather location and restarted the phone but it still does it.
Any suggestions ?

Did you try setting a specific city? You might want to try and make sure it can update for just one place for a few days before you try to make it figure out where it's at on its own.

like someone mentioned before, try setting a city under the weather settings instead of having locate you. if that fails to work, try changing your sync options in the settings menu.
you might wanna check if you location thing is off ..
i turned mine off once and noticed the weather crap wasnt updating or finding anything ...then i went back into settings and turned it back on ..and BOOM i was good again .
