.INTRODUCTION and GRATITUDE
This ROM is not for geeks,
there s no alien implementation, won t make your coffee and won t solve your relationship problems.
Most things on this ROM are made by me, who follow my tutorials knows something about, but it includes some genius stuff by other xda members, so don t worship me if you like this ROM, and don t point the finger at me if you don t like, you are flashing a ROM called "Disaster ROM", so people, be aware lol
Before to list a blablabla list of the ROM features I'd like to thank people who helped me to make a Disaster ROM, so you know who blame, just in case
Usually best ROMs are made by teams, and if you think about you ll never find a "one-man" ROM, because everybody need somebody in this world, and me too obviously.
So a standing ovation please to people who helps giving his support in this thread:
salesale, goldieking, ApriliaM3, shoman94, sir Mr.Greg and many more (shout if i missed you!)

One more standing ovation to all the donators that keep this alive:
salesale, manuelmagix, maanz, shoman94, churapa, dainar, paalkr , skossa, follettoverde, kai obey, jomud, raziel, merlin, *didi , STEulm , spelaben , jemeljsh , zzkonzz , bengosuxl (huge) , stigerle , dejan , _alex74_ ,minidou-77 , forgiaro , myrianto , ciuffo78 , zapper01 , kensalvo , Vexxx , micpsi , tomtro74 , Calvo (shout if i missed you!)

And one more thank to people i worked with to give you the worst (or better) Disaster you have seen, flashed, enjoied:
dsixda, jarari2, LegendK95, shoman94, goldieking, P.toti, mythrandir, didact74, kavithara, magn2o , jeboo , sorg , *Kazi_rizwan for the awesome logo!

I accept criticism and suggestions for new features, but will insert just the ones that I believe are useful and in line with my idea of modding. All inquiries relating to graphic changes will be discarded.
If you have any bugs to report please do so in the presence of a logcat, because words alone do not solve anything, are confusing and do not help the development.
I would prefer the discussion to center on the rom itself, not on which kernel is the best and what is not, for this sort of thing there are various discussions about it.
If you are looking for a rom for daily use, with useful functions and without extravagant things are in the right place, if you look more this rom is not for you.
This is a hobby, and I do not feel compelled to keep everyone happy if it means not to please myself, I want to be clear.
Anyone who wants to help is welcome, but any donation is to be considered as a courtesy for the work done so far, not as a pretext to gain the right to tell me what to do.
I'm not going to switch devices, I do not see why I should, and will continue to develop for this phone for much longer, according to my ideas, my free time, my private commitments.
My contribution to XDA and its members will continue until there is satisfaction and gratitude for what I do.
Thank you for your attention.

It should be because you bring nothing new to the table, it's all pre existing mods which you bundled together and tried to make it as stock as possible... If you had a new development breakthrough, you should say so because that would justify it being an original dev thread

Well, many Samsung based rom are in this section. Sometimes I see any difference about the Original Development and Development room, so.. if this is the wrong section moderators will do their work as I do mine in my native forum.
Told this, thank u 4 your answer.

No problem, just trying to clarify for the future... Original dev roms usually have their own apps coded by them or they use special theming process like villainrom or hyperdroid, or they made a development breakthough which wasnt borrowed from another dev... Of course almost all roms original or not are based on samsung roms because cyanogen or aosp are missing proprietary driver support. The joys of samsung products

Dear XDA users,
THIS ROM HAS BEEN HELLRAISED. INSTALL ON YOUR OWN RESPONSIBILITY. I DON'T OWN THE I777 PHONE SO I COULDN'T TEST IT MYSELFT
I have the the pleasure to announce my 3'rd generation of SensatioN Theme and I want to tell that in this december I am making one year since I started theming on Android. From my first theme, Crysis RevolutioN, when I had no idea about theming and how flexible the Android Interface can be, I ended up making another 3 themes (the SensatioN series).
I want to apologize once again for some of the bugs you may find in this theme. I wanted to make it as good as I can but bugs may appear all the time. If you find them, please contact me at: [email protected]. I can't promise any ETA for a fix, but I can assure you that I will have it in my mind and when I have free time I will take care of it.
Also, I want to thank to everyone who has helped me when I asked your help for buying a laptop. I bought it for this Christmas and I am very happy. I hope that with SensatioN 3 I won't disappoint anyone who had supported and continues to support me. Thank you once again!
SensatioN ROM Features:
-Based on Samsung Firmware XWKK5 Android 2.3.6
-KI4 modem
-Siyah kernel 2.5.2
-JKAY mod 13.2.2
-Fancy animation for screen rotation
-Maxthon Browser 2.3.9
-TwLauncher 4.5 by Fr4gg0r
-Deluxe Settings app by JKAY
-RTL patch
-Modded keyboard (slightly changed UI and comma instead of settings button)
-Internet browser with no overscroll glow and User Agent Settings.
-Gallery with no overscroll glow in images
-and of course the classic craps that I don't think they worth mentioned but maybe someone will ask about thme(deodexed, rooted, zipaligned, bla bla bla)
When it comes to the new SensatioN 3 interface you will find:
-New MMS application UI
-New Logs layout
-New Phone.apk application fixed for video calling also and letters in in-call dialpad
-New Memo interface
-New Music Player interface
-New DropDown menu with 14 toggles controlled by JKAY app.
-redesigned tabs in applications
-redesigned framework elements: new volume pop-up layout - more compact and thinner volume bar, new pop-up panels, new advanced power menu icons, check boxes, radio buttons
-redesigned status bar icons (signal, wi-fi and almost all notification icons)
-ICS keyboard animation
So, because It's Christmas, I decided to make you a small surprise.I have made a quick Christmas Edition of SensatioN 3:
-animation in dropdown menu with snow flakes, snowed elements. Now the main disadvantage of this animation is that it lags the dropdown menu due the animation. I have also provided a small pack, containing the static dropdown menu if you like the way it looks but the lag is too bad for you to support. So, if you want to keep the Christmas look but with smooth Dropdown menu, download the SensatioN_3_Static_Christmas_Dropdown and flash it over
-new frozen icons for more applications
If I have time these weeks I will try to update my SensatioN 2 theme to be compatible with this ROM and also it will support the JKAY 13.2.2 mod (14 toggles).
With this being said, I hope yo like my latest release for Samsung Galaxy S 2 phones. If you want to support me and my crazy ideas consider donating for a cup of coffee in my sleepless nights.

Soma you guys come off as miserable/bored/a&$$&*es (hey takes one to know one lol). Frankly The OP is devoid of information. One could assume that the man took a hell-raised system dump from an i777 and 7zipped, but do either of you know if any modifications etc were made? Just saying. This is a case of the lmaoies

Hello and Welcome the the Disaster Team's Simplistic ROM Thread. Enjoy your Ride.
Some History of the ROM: The Simplistic Series was first founded by me, and the disaster series was found by my very close mate, Mirko. We joined forces to bring to you the best S2 experience.
Also a very honorable mention I would like to point out is our friend Bas, thanks a lot for your everlasting support.
Another Thing is that our ROM version is counted using Roman Numbers (e.g. I, II, III, IV, V..) and if some fixed are implemented into a current version, we call this a revision.
Simplistic Control: "Full Control over your Simplistic ROM!"
Simplistic Control is a Settings-like application, where you can control a lot of the mods implemented inside the ROM.
Accessing Simplistic Control is a breeze, just open your Settings, look under personal category and you'll find it.
Simplistic Control has a lot of features categorized to provide easy and fast access to control the mod you want, as of now, it contains categories such as: Lockscreens, Phone app, most Statusbar Elements categories, General Category, and much more. And each one of them has loads of options to play with!
Note: Most of the things you see in the screenshots are controllable from Simplistic Control

Note: Make sure to check donors list inside Simplistic Control in the about section.
Well, we honestly hate asking for anything from users, and that policy won't change, we will ask nothing from you. Tho if you feel like you want to support our work, you are free to donate.
We assure you that all donations coming are for the ROM development, expanding our work to benefit the S2 is our biggest priority.

The ROM installation involves the same procedure that all ROMs use.
Important: The ROM will always be a non-wipe, so that the user has the right to choose, however, we almost always recommend a wipe except if you want to install an update pack.
Instructions:
*Download the Zip, don't extract it.
*Move the zip to the internal sdcard of your phone
*(Root Required) reboot into ClockWorkMod Recovery (CWM)
*Use volume buttons and home or power button to navigate.Or use touch if you have the touch CWM. Choose Install Zip from sdcard.
* Then, Choose zip from internal sdcard. Navigate to the ROM desired, and select it.
*Highlight "YES" and confirm, then wait till it finishes
*Reboot and you're DONE! Wait till the phone boots.
NOTE: Do Not Fix Permissions, or else you will have problems.
To be written.

OK first impressions abouthis rom:
Much much faster than any other 4.0.4 rom
Very smooth.
So far very stable.
I think that the team made a very good job.
I can say nothing about battery because its to soon for that.
One thing that its annoying (and this is personal) is the Jellybean contacts. There no option to delete all contacts at once, you have to delete them one by one. Also there no option to hide email contacts (you have to delete them).
So is there any way to have back the Samsung contacts?
This would be very helpful to me.
Well done one more time.
Thank you all for your great work.

Thanks for reply,
at this moment we look only for advance functionality... which u think where SE / Sony mobile lacks... The wifi, notification fix, pre-rooted or batter efficiency is points which we are including in our beta releases.
at this moment we want to concentrate on feature like multi window or iphone calling screen, this are the few features which sony mobile dont have yet (Dont know about JB release).
Waiting for more innovative suggestions...
Thanks
Sagar

hmm and here are some suggestions:

Theres an app for smartstay called iseeyou ..
JB is almost bugfree now... it would be soo awesome if u could base it on JB...
Id like the feature in which we can adhust brightness by sliding on the notification bar
Another thing that would be awesome is gesture controls .... I know about the app but those gestures are too complicated... I was thinking of something more like meego os... Like swiping from extreme left to right to switch to last used app... etc.
Also those new camera apps on htc and blackberry are awesome... in which the camera starts recording as soon as u open the app so that u can adjust the pics by rewinding the faces back in time... i know that was a horrible explanation but i hope u get it! That with zero shutter lag
And finally the gallery from note 2 where u can arrange the folder from the gallery itself!!

WOW lots of suggestions... thanks...
As we are implementing multiple windows into rom... nfinatemod will be first rom with multiple Launchers running same time...so this rom will have one sidebar launcher for select application which u want to use... gestures are efficient always we will think about it.
but this all suggestions from you are really helpful for us... we can think about them as we complete multiple windows functionality...
i will post screenshots of multiple windows as that part is ready for first test... so you can get understanding how it will enhance your way to use your SE phone.
regarding your all other suggestions... this Sunday official website is going live. i will create pole there with all suggestions... TOP 5 SUGGESTIONS will be included into first alpha release...
(Sorry guys i will like to add everything but we have other modifications too which we need to cover in alpha but remaining suggestions you can see in future releases.)
Please keep suggesting us to Enhance user experience.

I have been told this may be a kernel issue...for now you can find the file you want and choose player option from the pop-up toast as you open the file and it will work.It appears that in his haste to release this for us Taimur may have inadvertantly posted the changelog for his I9100 version. Look for an update to that soon. What's "written" in the OP outside of the change log is more accurate kernel/recovery wise.
Gallery seems to be missing lol

Update, Everything is running great. The camera works fine. But Gallery however is missing.. haha.

Yes Xam, he removed the gallery. You'll have to install a third party app. Also to the developer, it says in the OP there are screen shots in the second post. But there's no screen shots. Just a heads up.

A revision would be out soon, maybe later today or tomorrow addressing the fixes for the Home button not working and also the missing gallery plus the Video Player. The experience on posting a ROM on a device you don't have is tottaly different so guys please bear with me as I turn the OP+ROM to perfection. Just came back from giving a exam so once again please wait and as long as you are waiting, press the mighty Thanks button and rate the thread. Super Thanks to all. :highfive:
EDIT: Updated the changelog, will add more items in the changelog when v2.00.01 R1 is up. Screenshots are also coming.

joaoseco (NOT FROM XDA) said:
Well, I installed it yesterday, after a few laps, and here are my impressions: First, the rom is beautiful! All this skin is prettier Z, since the menus, home screens, etc.. The only drawback is that the dialer, messaging and call menu are white instead of black (no way to change), which turns out to dangle a bit from the rest of the interface. The dev says on XDA that the Z are anyway, and there is no way to ever change. Overall, everything was in stock rom was retouched and is looking goood mm.
As for functionality, quick toggles give way but there is not so new mounts. The camera seems a little faster when you have low light, but I think it is the same as stock, the widget background of meteorology is now transparent, and slightly more
As I noticed a huge difference, and I say brutal (had the stock rom tmn) is performance. At the beginning it almost looked like he was moving in S3 or so! Super fluid transitions and animations, and dialer ALREADY HAS NO LAG! Not dialer or messages or calls, everything very fast. The applications themselves are faster. The Temple Run and 2 Wind-up Knight, who previously had hiccups or lag, are extremely fast (in TR2 was amazed, even "this is the speed that the game is supposed to be?"). The only game that was slow was the Vector, but taking into account that with the previous ROM was slow to the point of being unplayable, is a big improvement.
Battery: I am now with 23h battery and 30%, ie with the wi-fi always on, playing enough to test the bug, some calls and some facebook messenger. It seems slightly better than the stock (for example, overnight "eat me" 7 or 8% instead of 10-12 which were normal).
As for the problems I encountered, the principal, who did not bother me too much, is that lockscreen, unlock pattern / pin request is a bit off center, down (see http://dl.xda-develo ... 67423723462.jpg ). The rest did not see anything that would qualify as a bug itself.
Note: while this had just written the first lag in dialer lol. mto was still short, and soon tested the messages and make / receive calls that worked perfectly. Stay here only tell the truth

Bugs:
When tried to put the digital clock on the home screen,a message appears saying that there is a full home screen.
Fix for this
http://d-h.st/vpP
You tell
Faqs:
1) You did not say anything about wipes and all.IS this OK or a mistake?
► Yes this is correct .You do not need to make wipes and all as this is automatically taken care of.
2) What kernel does this rom work best on?
► Well that cannot be told as every user has a different opinion. This works with all stock/based kernels
3) I am using Munjeni’s kernel and after installing this rom Wifi does not work. WTF?
► No Problem. That kernel uses a separate package for Wifi modules which are replaced when you install this rom. So to make Wifi work again just flash the memory tweaks again
4) I installed your rom and then got a bootloop. Help me
► You followed the instructions yet?
5) Well you used aroma before and then why you not used it here
► This is a custom rom and definitely the best thing will be included here. So there is no need for aroma. However if you want to customize you are free to do so. But remember modding and then sharing or stealing this without permissions could lead to a report to moderators for permanent ban.
6) I encountered a bug and want to report
► OH! Where did you get that . Please mention in detail what other changes you have made and what all mods you are using in this thread. I will surely look into this. Thank You for your keen eye
7) I get a 'E:cant open /cache/recovery/log' error in cwm. How to fix this?
► You can simply fix this by doing a cache wipe
8) I want to install this over B.89 Firmware. Is that ok?
► That would simply not make sense as this is one complete rom. However you can install the kernel of B.89 to extract the power of B.89 into this rom

For any developer the 'thing' which motivates him to do more and more is knowing that people actually do like his work and I am no different. And one way of showing your love to his work is by adapting the fan-club signature.Seeing people wearing our colors really gives us a boost and inspires us to make newer releases in future Here I present you few signatures which you can use to show that you love using this ROM. It gives us happiness and motivation which money cant buy.To see more development for the devices from me just go ahead and use it.Its totally at your convenience and choice .
I am not a good designer So you can also create signatures and share here. It will definitely be added

you should try adding small apps in v2 if you do it will be an awesome ROM :good:
and lockscreen is not the original XZ one. It would be better if it is original right? i mean the clock between camera and music icons style.

Thank You for your feedbacks :highfive:
Have been working on it now for days just not getting it right . Hopefully small apps will come in this within this week as a addon package :fingers-crossed:
Yes the lockscreen is not the original one it has been modded and possibly looks better than the old one . You can always revert to the old one

Add to OP!
Re: [Rom][C.1.0]Zperience™ V1[31/03]
Wow! Feel free to add TheAppPacks i made to the OP so that answers peoples questions about additional things to flash.
Willing to help test, but I haven't set up Flash tool yet, so can't use a stock kernel.
*question* Can I flash over a FXP CM9 based ROM? Do I need to flash stock?
'U' know what I sent it from, geddit?
Re: [Rom][C.1.0]Zperience™ V1[31/03]
Well this rom is fast snappy, good battery usage and removed all bloatware and added only essential Sony Xperia Z apps and nice modifyed framework with nice animations also RAM usage is not bad 100-150 mb of free ram.
But I do not feel smootheness OP said, settings apps is really laggy and I do not like that.
Otherwise is very nice ROM and as I said its same responsive as gingerbread so really fast.
