You can do this with a custom ROM (requires rooting, check the sticky in the dev forum). Try Galaxy Task 14 ROM (dev forum) and check out Boosted's themes (themes and apps forum).

Thanks for your help!

I run Task 14 no theme. I still have exactly what you're wanting as a back button.
No need for the special theme. Unless you just want one.
Tasks ROMs rock just as that come IMHO.

Nero 3 and adding/removing home screens??

Hello all! I got tired of waiting...and like all others that couldnt take it anymore. ..i jumped to nero3...so far its a huge improvement! Im curious if anyone knows how to remove some of the "homescreens" in nero3?...there are more than I can utilize...
Also, is there a way to make the home screen rotate when the device is held in a position other than the normal way?
There isnt a way to remove on stock. Search feature is amazing. Search for a modified touchwiz launcher. Or try adw ex launcher from market, they have a twiz clone setup.
Edit: made it easier for u. This is modified twiz launcher. Make backup first and then follow the page

Vubrant is pretty much brick proof, but always-always make backup. Save you a future headache

touch navigation bar

hey guys,
i was wondering if there is any way to get those customisable bottom touch navigation bar controls(like in some of the 4.0.4 custom roms), activated in stock LPG ( or any stock firmware)???
thank you.
I take it you didn't watch the welcome video, noob? Wrong section, and it's been asked and answered dozens of times. Look by the Android version number, not the ROM codename. It's handled by the build.prop file, so if it's supported in your version and you're rooted its a simple fix.
If you're not rooted you can't do it. Period.

thanks. sorry abt posting in the wrong section.
i tried a search before posting this thread, but couldnt find the exact info i wanted. it was showing suggestions for galaxy nexus mods and images for navigation bar icons. so wasnt sure whether it could be tried out for Galaxy S2 also. being a noob, wasnt too confident.
can u plz post a link to the thread for the SGS2.
thank you.

No, this isn't right section for questions but maybe you want to check sgs3 themes and apps section, there is lot of different themes.
For example: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=34200082
There's a thread with modded pull down bars in Themes.
And please ask questions in the Q&A section
Thanks for the help

Ink Effect

Hey,is there any way to add ink effect without installing Jkay framework, because i don't really like that aosp look and lockscreen.
Maybe bit of a noob response here but hope it helps nonetheless...
I have jkay framework and I'm very pleased by it, it offers loads of customisation, if you so choose. So you could flash and leave most things/everything stock.
There are 6 different lock screens which includes the stock ripple effect version with ink effect. As for the aosp'ness it all depends if you choose to flash the aosp theme/mods.
I've been running jb wanamlite with jkay for a while now and find it's a great little setup. Sleek smooth and gets rid of the little annoyances that I personally feel the samsung framework had.
I would suggest that you give it a go and if you don't like it revert back. Dont forget to do a nandroid backup first though - only as good practice you shouldn't need it

Would you mind sharing your wanamlite rom version with me? I can see that the latest versions aren't yet supported by Jkay framework.
Flash inkeffect from themes section
No jkay needed?
JKay is not needed if you want only the ink effect
Try searching in themes and apps section using the keyword "ink effect"
