Here's a quick pic. I love it.
I have a Champagne tablet and just returned my Grey dock to BestBuy yesterday as my return window was about to expire. I didn't mind the 'two-tone' look so much but I would prefer if the whole package were Champagne. Problem is I can't find a dang Champagne dock anywhere.

The champagne dock actually exists? Never seen it and been trying to order one (at non-ebay/amazon inflated prices) since the day the Prime came out. I bought the Prime to use with a dock, but I don't like the mismatch of colors. I have no idea why these docks are in such short supply.
I currently have a Champagne prime with Grey dock. Actually it looks kinda cool and I have gotten mostly all positive responses on the look. I was bumming when I first got it (Only one wife could find), but it has actually grown on me and think it is cool.
I had seriously considered this considering how friggin' hard it was to finally get a champagne dock. But now I'm all CG baby lol and both are C1 serials.
I think it looks fine mix-matched.

I don't see why not. I keep a black minisuit on mine at all times, so when my keyboard arrived I instantly docked just to try out the keyboard and it looked pretty nifty to me (the contrast, not the bulky case against the slim dock lol). Champagne gold bottom and dark top is fine, and you can kinda see the keys better on the CG.

I had this combo for a week or so as well, until I had to return the Champagne unit for some problems. I actually like it, too, and kind of miss it. I think it's a great looking combo, although for some reason I can't imagine the opposite looking quite as good.
Here in Japan, you can only buy them as a set (AFAIK), so I got a champagne set.
Looks really classy. Or at least it did until I sent it in for repairs (problems with the dock hinge). They promised it back in ten days and at the ten day mark then promised it back after another ten days. That's tomorrow...
Oops. didn't mean to get off topic.
Anyway, there's something cool about going to a meeting and whipping out a golden netbook.

The handles are attached from the inside, you can't have the zippers closed with the handles out.

Looks kind of basic. I bought a neoprene bag that is similar that has a pocket for about $10 from Fry's. Let us know if there is anything special. I might stop by my Fry's this weekend to take a look
If this is meant for the Transformer why does the shape look out of wack? That bag is almost square as opposed to the Transformer which is definitely more rectangular.

Hi all,
I bought this bag yesterday. It fits the tablet w/ keyboard nicely and is pretty good quality. The issue I have is that it doesn't comfortably fit the charger as the bag is kinda thin w/ limited extra space. I'm considering this one instead, as I have it for my full size laptop: Targus CityGear Netbook Case for up to 10.2 Inch Netbooks
All in all, good bag for the 15 buck price, but as I want the extra space for the charger and a portable external drive and mouse, probably gonna spring for the Targus.

Whats the point of having a slim tablet if you are going to lug it around like a netbook, with powercords and all?
I love my Arkon stand, but got tired of folding it up and tucking it in the case to carry to work so I started looking for another. Found this one on Amazon and thought it would look great ... and it does! Comes in gold too.

It is way classier-looking than any other I have seen and works just as well in Portrait mode. A caveat, they are buying these from china and the welding is not as precise so you may need to (like I did) take some pliers to it to straighten the arms a bit. I had some foam grip things made for pens/pencils that slid over the arms to make a nice cushy bed for my tab.
I clicked the link and while it describes a stand, it shows pictures of Boots. Yeah, BOOTS! Haha, and also keep in mind that the person purchasing would have to have Amazon Prime to get it for under $10 shipped. (I do have amazon prime, but I'm not in need of boots ) But it does qualify for FSSS (spend $25 on qualifying products and free shipping).
The picture you posted does look really nice though.

Yes, and in fact once I placed the order - that is what showed (picture) with the description of the stand so I wrote the seller. I made it EXTREMELY clear that if it was not exactly as described, they would be getting it back ... on their dime. They replied immediately, assuring me the stand was what was ordered. And that IS what I received.
That is the beauty of Amazon and prime, the service is unparalleled. If something is not exactly as described, refund is easy and immediate and if it is not a big-ticket thing, generally I keep the wrong item for free.
In reality it is every bit as nice as the (non-boots) picture. Very pleased with it and if anyone else in the family had tabs, they would be getting them as gifts.
With it being cast iron, I would think that it would be pretty rough on the case of the G-Tab. Any other stand that I have found has some sort of "padding".
I saw similar stands in Wal-Mart today for about $3.50. I bought the wooden ones for a few cents more.

Funny you should mention that. I was originally thinking of some heat-shrink tubing over the little arms that hold the tab and then saw something on a clearance table at the dollar store.
The little foam sleeves that go on pens and pencils fit perfectly. Come in beaucoup colors too.
I know there are photos and video reviews all over the web. Still, this video is good to have a better idea on how both colors look side by side in reality.

That is such a worse camera quality, with that quality I couldn't even distinguish my mom from any other woman.
Only the Champagne-colored one will be available in sweden so that choice is easy (asus nordic will not handle warranty issues on tablets bought in the us wzich is a shame)

Sadly that is not a photo, it is a render.
I going for the gray... I want to get the dock but tiger did not have one listed for the gray =\ gamestop says thee pre-order it but... they don't say color... last thing I want is a champagne color dock and a amethyst grey tablet... don't care if its the back only that is just plain silly!

The photo 2 posts before is a little bit irritating: the champagne one is more gold.
Champagne Gold device looks like white gold, it is mostly silver with a slight touch of yellow hue in the mix. Quite visible here on an actual photo: http://www.engadget.com/photos/transformer-prime-preview-dock/#4651723

The renders that Asus has put up should not be trusted. Best you can do is go and see the device yourself and if that is not possible, then rely on photos more than Asus promotional images.
If I were getting one (I'm not), I'd go for the champagne. Much nicer than the grey, IMO.
Took me a real long time to decide which colour I wanted... I love purple but finally went for the Champagne. Looks like a better bet when it comes to stock level from the rumours we heard so far?
Amethyst gray so it doesn't resemble iPad but I have a feeling it will show fingerprints more than Champagne gold.

I preordered both but just cancelled the champagne one today.
I'm surprised so many people are going for the gray. To me, the champagne color gives it a very...premium look? I'm not sure how to describe it, I guess it makes it looks like a better version of the back of an iPad 2 or Galaxy Tab 10.1. I only see a little bit of a yellow tint to it, and when they first revealed it (before officially announced in November), that color just blew me away. Just my two cents.
Thought I would take some side by side photos of the Champagne and Grey primes while I have both. The Grey is going back to best buy this weekend.

how does the finger print smudging on the back compare? Does the champagne show fingerprints as awfully as the graphite does?
The Champagne doesn't seem to show the smudges nearly as much, but I have only had it for a day so I really can't say for sure.

I agree with this, i've had both and i was always cleaning the grey version, i hardly need to do any cleaning with this silver one
Grey one looks much better n sleek looking ...the light colored one has more of a cheap look to it. Doesn't stand out it and pop like the dark grey one. I have the grey one

Ya, the Champagne was on its maiden charge and i was downloading ICS and all the updates for it and what not. Otherwise I wouldn't have had it plugged in.

One thing that i noticed is that the ASUS logo sticks out a lot more on the Champagne. The photos seem show this as well.

It's just lighting in the photos. My grey prime also looks purple-y like the PR pictures. I prefer the colour, makes it look different from other tablets. : )
I've found it nearly impossible to photograph these things and really show their colors, partly because they both look so different in different lighting. Don't like how either of them look? Then just hold it at a different angle to the light...
I've had both side-by-side, and I think each has its charms. Interestingly, I do find the combination of the Champagne Gold tablet with the Amethyst Gray dock to be quite striking.
Ok folks.. I have been looking for a back cover for my gtablet and I found one at NewEgg. It comes in both Black and Clear... for those of you that are interested its a polycarbinate material.... And is only 13.00, its suppose to have all the right cut outs and such....

Just ordered mine today through Amazon as I wanted to get something else so I was able to get free shipping. Now just need to sit and wait for it..stated for delivery sometime next week. I'll post back with my thoughts.

Yes I did use GreatShield, I wanted it in black and it was only offered in clear thru Newegg. So I went to the Greatshield site and ordered in in black. And it arrived 5 days later, via USPS.
Works like a charm, all the cut outs are correct. NO shape edges and it pops right on. It was worth the wait and the price.
Well the Greatshield back cover arrived today. First impression wasn't what I was expecting...I was thinking it was more like the material like those Cruzerlite covers are made of for phones. This is actually just hard plastic with a painted black soft touch paint on it, kind of like the soft touch plastics found in many cars. Actually VZW sells sliding belt holsters which are pretty much the same concept as this cover. Either way its another layer on the back of the tablet that adds a little bit more thickness which I actually don't mind plus the soft touch paint gives it more grip.
All ports and physical buttons are exposed which is great but the only thing which could bother some is access to the micro sdcard slot/USB port cover is a little difficult. You will have to peel the back cover off slightly to get it opened if you access that slot and port. Oh getting this thing off is kind of a pain since the tablet is a little bigger than a phone. I find sitting on the couch while trying to get the cover off is better just incase things go flying.

The extra grip must be nice.
I always worry when I one hand mine that it is going to slip out of my hands since it's kind of slick.
