I want to know what ROM can I use with an Galaxy S Wi-Fi 3.6. I see only 4.0 or 5.0 ROM, are they compatible with an 3.6 device ?

For christmas, I bought a Galaxy S wifi 3.6 (EU) for my daughter. I was expecting this player to be as smooth as my Galaxy S but it isn't. Is it due to Gingerbread 2.3.6 which is old or is it due to Samsung layer on top of Gingerbread ? I don't know.
I was expecting a CM10 for YP-GS1 but there is nothing as of today.
I have seen that there is a stock rom based on Gingerbread 2.3.6 which is pre-rooted and including JB theme.
My questions are:
- Does it include Samsung layer above Gingerbread ?
- Is this pre-rooted stock rom for YP-GS1 more smooth than the original one provided by Samsung with his device ?

Hello. My wife updated her i605 to 4.3. When she did, she got a new version of the Stock video player. I would like that for my rooted i317 that is running cleanrom ACE.
A friend of mine bought a Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 (GT-S7275R), which has Android 4.2.2 - and that is the latest version that Samsung provides for this phone.
However, he'd like to use it with Fitbit hardware, which requires BLE API for syncing, and that feature is in Android 4.3.
How do we put 4.3 on this phone?
I don't think there's Cyanogen for this model. Is it possible to install vanilla Android 4.3 safely?

It doesn't have to be vanilla. Just how do I get 4.3 on Ace 3?
