Problem with unlocking bootloader Sk17i Mini Pro - Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini, Mini Pro, Xperia Pro, A

Hello all. I have a problem when I want to unlock bootloader without lose DRM.
I installed all the drivers but when I come to step 4 (androidflip.com/unlock-xperia-phones-bootloader-without-losing-drm-data-track-id-working/) but I don't know exactly what to do.
I start s1 tools and patchSEMCboot.
I tried to connect the testpoint and then connect the ground wire but nothing.
I tried to connect like step 1,case 2,image 1 but nothing.
All I need is this step!!
Thanks all for the responses and sorry for my bad english but I'm italian.

It's your phone branded? I mean, it's sim locked? You need to unlock first.. if you unlock with fast gsm or wotanserver it will unlock bootloader too..
Ps.. my english sucks too, but you can write in italian, I will understand..

See Jinx13, you may need your bootloader unlocking

Thanks for the help. My phone isn't branded or sim lock. I don't know why my phone has this problem for unlock bootloader. But I installed the drivers and I recognized him.
Grazie per l'aiuto. Il mio telefono non è brandizzato ne ha la scheda bloccata. Io non capisco perchè il mio telefono ha questo problema per sbloccare il bootloader.Però ho installato i driver e me lo ha riconosciuto.

Are sure you find the right testpoint? Post your log too..
Edit: check this post, may help you:

Ultimate question: Now i have FW .58,can I upgrade at .68 with unlocked bootloader or i brick my phone?

Yes, it will brick your phone.. If you want to update use flashtool, wotan client or find a version that you can install with cwm recovery..
Sent from my WT19i using XDA App

Ok thanks
So if I upgrade with SEtool it didn't brick? Very good.
If you want to switch from CFW to original FW i can upgrade with SEtool, true?
Thanks thanks thanks

Nop, I said flashtool about original firmware, are you talking about stock rom or "your stock rom"? You should backup your rom first, before you install a custom rom.. But since you already "lost" warranty (actually, you didn't.. There's tricks to get your warranty back, unless you open your phone..), you can put any stock rom with flashtool or wotan client..
(there's other ways to get back your firmware after installing a custom rom, but i'm not gonna tell you yet.. it's too much confusing for you right now..)

I'm gonna assume you mean root when you say flash.
1. Advantage of root: you can delete stock apps like timescape or that captive thingmy. This will speed up the frankly sluggish stock ROM. You can also flash xrecovery and a new ROM.
2. Disadvantage of root: Root voids warranty. Although you can unroot with SEUS at any time, so no real disadvantage.
3. Once you are rooted and have flashed xrecovery you can download an upgrade and use xrecovery to upgrade your phone.

just do it. you'll know the advantage and disadvantage later...
and if it's only about 'software' then it will always be 'reversible'.
so there's no worry about flashing custom ROM
Advantages: you'll have a massive smile on your face.
Disadvantages: the smile might start to hurt your cheeks after a few days.
I rooted my phone, now, how can I flash it??
and, which will be the best rom ??

You would need to install xRecovery from the flashtool (before that you would have to allow root permission from the computer by clicking 'Check Root' on flashtool)
If you want everything working apart from Adobe Flash, then EW's 2.1 is recommended.
All Froyo roms in the dev section are stable enough for everyday use with full working camera/camcorder.
I'm not sure about the GB roms but the camera is not yet fully functional.
I'm gonna flash mi x10a; please let me know the links about how to use flashtool and how to install the roms .
thanks,

thanks,
You are asking how to turn off data?
Add Power Control Widget to any homescreen.
Uncheck Data icon.
Or go Settings->Wireless->and turn data off in there somewhere.

How many times you want, there's no limit.
Trebuie doar sa copiezi codul de deblocare.Am blocat si am deblocat bootloaderul cred ca de 7-8 ori folosind acelasi cod.Pentru reblocarea bootloaderului cauta Relock bootloader in Xperia. Bafta!
Thanks man ....i unlocked bootloader once and now i relocked it and i was just wondering...thanks

You can find the Rom here - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1693631
But the SI number might not be same as yours. And warranty wouldn't become void for installing firmware of different SI to your phone. If you want the Rom for your SI number, update via PCC or SUS. And then u can create your own rom from that

[Q] Need help with a damaged bootloader

Hello everybody, is there a way to repair the bootloader without using SETool box o dongle? Basically, I'm asking if I can repair it only with the USB cable and a specific software. I'm asking this, because here in Argentina I found it hard and expensive to buy a specific hardware.
Bootloader was damaged by trying to unlock it.
Thanks!
How have you damaged it? What process was used to unlock bl?
Have you tried to repair with se companion or flashtool?
Sent By My Google Nexus
A Thanx Is Appreciated!!

I really don't know what process was used, I didn't do it, but as far as i know, it was a bat file which had to be launched after a kernel downgrade. I tried usin flashtool with different versions but it always shows a SIN header verification failure. SE companion does nothing, i've also tried it.
Thanks by the way!!

Just google "lg bootloader unlock"
Click the link with lg in it.
Also if you ask about this they'll say:We'll inform you if there is a change in the device list"
I'd say it's not gonna happen officially.

I have a h860 and i hear you.
This is the last LG device i'll ever buy.
Also this device isn't that good, i mean look at the battery capacity, totally uncool, camera features are not much.
Aaand let's not forget the fact that this device gets literally no dev support(except the European version)
My next phone is gonna be a sony(which devs love) or another samsung (which is not very popular among devs but at least most of its variants come with unlocked boot loader
Yeah i got sick of samsung's apple's like douchebagness as a company , tried LG and i like de device .. Wish it could be at least rooted evem if it does not get any development

Hello,
Did anyone try this method from below thread.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g5/how-to/guide-adb-root-rw-dm-verity-off-sprint-t3523499
My H840 has antirollback v0. But I couldn't proceed with this method as Firmware(KDZ/TOT) is not yet available for my region.
It would be great if some one tries this
Thanks
I'd advice you to wait until dev's Gets a proper method to do it and with super su working.. I am sure that there is going to be a thread with all the steps to follow for every model

Best to research unlockable bootloader phones prior to buying a new device. I paid $600 (way more than for a used H830) just to have an unlocked bootloader.

Basically. Either someone from Xda or androidforms comes along with root. I did same mistake lot of people have. Before you buy next phone….research. No root=No buy.

Surely, there must be a way to root the lg g5 se h840. I feel like smashing the phone as it feels useless without root. Is it possible to install the su binaries from terminal emulator? Are there any hacks to unlock the bootloader unofficially??

Maybe they will change their mind and unlock the bootloader. It seems it worked with the us umbranded variant.
