That's how small the latest Swype from the installer is on my phone. Is that normal? I'm running Joel's Sense Redefined ROM.

Does not work good, as you said to small, thou the idea is good.

Rotate your screen into landscape, then back. It'll fit the whole screen, but it's short. Their new update f'ed it all up for our Rezound, while making all the Gnex users happy.

That's weird, mine still looks and works the same after the update, maybe try reinstalling?

I reinstalled it like 3 times ._.

Just use a Titanium backup of the last version. It works 95% fine. Only glitch I've seen is that the autocorrect/suggestion bar occasionally doesn't show. A quick change of keyboards and back again fixes it.

[Request/Solution] Remove the time from Notification

I use Beautiful Widgets (esp now after the HD Super Clock update today), and the time in the notification bar is both an eye soar and a waste.
Anyone know how to remove it? I know I can do military time.... looking to remove it all together.

AFTER MOD
EDIT: Here is the solution (try at your own risk - confirmed to work on Flagship V3)
Big thanks to xtone and MV10

Running it right now free of clock
^^
Hmm... trying it on Flagship V3 and it appears to be stuck on the boot screen.
EDIT: Okay, just a long boot.. as if it wiped dalvik. All good, no clock.
THANK YOU!
Thanks!!! Definitely something I will try out soon! Now I know what to do. Appreciate it guys!

Yeah, could not be happier with my phone/rom at the moment.

Gingerbread keyboard?

Just wondering if there's a Gingerbread keyboard floating around? Would one from the EVO work? I came from a Hero running CM6.1 with the gingerbread keyboard, and HTC's keyboard just feels awkward now.

I tried the Hero one but it FC'd. You can always download and install the Evo one. Then uninstall it if it doesn't work.
Try this guy

Search gingerkeyboard and gingerbread keyboard in the market. Only main difference between the two besides one being larger than the other is gb has adjustable key size. That's all I've noticed so far. They are pretty quick, especially in landscape.

HTC Arrive

Hey guys i know we just got S off yesterday just wanted to ask a question. one of my buddys brought a arrive from his work today and let me play around with it and i really like the sms on it. i'll post a pic of it at the end of the thread.
i know its not a android phone but is it possible to get it porter to the evo at all? and even if we can't its nothing too special. its a all black background with bubbles. it really clean and neat, thats how i like my roms and i know many do as well.

yeah i know but thats stock. when more roms come out i will be on something else.
That looks remarkably like the one from Touchwiz... You could try porting that and then just making the bubbles more square.

Cant download ANY apps?

I'm running skyraider Zeus 1.3 and I get this when I try to download anything.

If the market is themed that may the problem. I had that problem with ikream so I replaced it with a backup I had and it worked after that.

remove your account and re-add it.
I just ended up flashing infected.

I used Infected for a couple of weeks and found it was a little buggy. Minor glitches, not really big deals. Since then I have been running LiquidSmoothRoms and I think it is fantastic. Hardly any problems at all. I havent had any problems with the Play Store, in fact, I have recently purchaced music and everything went smooth.....liquid smooth
Same happens to my on my Galaxy s II and Captivate

Overexposure with flash on....

Running Scotts ICS Standard ROM, not sure if it matters or not, and I'm having a real hard time with indoor pictures taken with flash on. Unless I jack down the ISO manually to 100 or 200 most of my pics get blown out. Has anyone else had this issue? I wish I could control how many LED's are used for the flash with the camera, but I doubt that's an option or if it is, something that would be easy to implement.
Here's an example I just took of my son, you can see his face is completely white-washed

Start with getting off Scotts outdated ROM.
Also I do believe there is an LED control app for pictures in the market. I'll try to find it.

People really don't use the flash because it does that.
Just turn your exposure up.
