Great find and you guys are lucky that have a fry's b&m store nearby. I ended up buying this micro sdcard for 49.99 at microcenter's b&m store and that was on sale, oh well it seems like a great card so far.

Can you swap the external card while the phone is still on? Or do you need to shut it off first?

Did you test your card using H2testw (http://mympx.org/Downloads/p13_sectionid/2/p13_fileid/13) to ensure it is genuine? Let us know.

Just an FYI, I have this card and I only get 8MB/s write speeds

Ok at work will do it when I get home, semi-noob I should see 32GB at 10 MB/s correct? Running the test right now, no looking good, 3.69 MB/s on 29.6 GB, guess I have to go back to the guy on Ebay and let him know I want the card he sold me........

Can someone run a speed test on the unit they received from Frys too?
I want to buy this but I'm always wary about the actual speeds in these SD cards.

I have the 32gb from fry's it comes in a legit samsung package and this is what I got for read/write

$30 Class 10 16GB PNY MicroSD @ Best Buy

For those that might want to buy at a retail store
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/PNY+-+1...8320077090&skuId=2300848&st=MicroSD&cp=1&lp=6
Pretty good deal for a retail store. Anything better and you would have to get it online and wait for shipping.
Wish I saw this sooner. Does it really make a difference?
Class speeds make a huge difference when apps are accessing the SD or writing to it when taking pictures or recording videos.
I can personally say I saw a performance increase.
I picked one up as well. Pretty good deal for a brick and mortar store.
These are $30 on newegg, every day. So if you miss the sale, not a big deal.

So my girlfriend went there. Called me. They said they had them available for pick up online... I said give the kid there the SKU and have him find it. I used to work there... But this was shady...
She said they didn't have a tag / label out for it... When the kid found it and handed it to her it was on the same hanger as the Class 2 ones marked at $44.99.
Tricksters...
Make sure to ask for them and check online.

It depends on what you are transferring moving opening etc as well. Class 2 cards will do better with small files class 10 will sustain a higher speed for larger files. I've only tested with class 2 4 and 6 though

I think it would make a big difference with video recording.
Not sure about this particular card just yet but I remember shopping around for standard SD cards and don't let card classes fool you. There's supposed to be a standard, but I don't think it's strict enough. If I'm not mistaken, I found PNY sd cards at class 10 were the same as Sandisk's class 6 for write speed. Not that we need a whole lot for our phones. Just word of warning. Other brands will label it as class _ but the write/read speed isn't equal to another brand of the same, or even higher class.
I currently have a Class 4 32GB and it's slow...
I think I'll pick one of these up until they come out with the Class 10 32GB ones

Come with a redemption code and you can go to the site and download one. They are pretty old and lame.
It seems you have to order these online and pick-up at the store. I went to BB last night and got one off the hanger, and it comes up at 44.99 at the checkout. Said 'No thanks..." Ordered online, picked up today, and it was the same as the one on the hanger at 44.99. I don't know why they're doing this though.

Are you sure about that? Usually, you can take it up to CS and they can price match their own online price. You must have grabbed the Class 2. Since the Class 2 is $44.99...

Class ratings are only a minimum guaranteed sequential write spec, not an absolute qualification of the card's speed... It's like desktop memory really. The manufacturer will test it at one or two speeds, say class 2 & 4, any card that fails to write at class 4 speeds gets tested at 2, there could very well be class 6's or barely 6's in the batch of 4s tho.... Specially with a manufacturer like Sandisk who doesn't really do a lot of speed binning on the smaller cards and is known to vastly underrate them at times. The class rating doesn't even mean anything for the purpose of read speeds which can and do vary.
I've got a class 6 Adata card that writes at 10MB/s, effectively making it a class 10... Cost $25 on Newegg IIRC. I paid like a buck more at CompUSA for a Patriot 16GB C4 card that writes at like 5.9MB/s, so really more like class 6. Both read at around 18MB/s. Got an 8GB class 4 Sandisk that came with my EVO 3D that reads at around 18MB/s too and writes at like 5MB/s. Meanwhile the 8GB class 6 Patriot card I bought when I had my EVO 3D only reads at just under 14MB/s but it writes at over 8MB/s.
Frankly I think anything over class 4 is fine... And overpriced c10 cards and the like are rarely worth it. I have an older 2GB PNY card made by Toshiba that doesn't even have a class rating and it's actually one of the faster cards I have. Meanwhile an even older 1GB card is dog slow.
BUMP!
In case people missed it, another one of those "deal" sites is offering the same exact card now for the same price. $35 shipped. I frequently see stuff that doesn't sell out on 1saleaday.com get offered there after a few days. They have a "status bar" kind of like how Woot does during the wootoffs so you can see how much available stock is left. Looks like they might have this for a couple of days, but I wouldn't wait too long.
http://bensoutlet.com/products/sandisk-32gb
I can vouch for them. I've ordered through them before and I think they're actually quicker than 1saleaday.com.

32GB Class 10 MicroSD card for $28 after $15 rebate

The bad reviews are supposedly from an old batch of cards that had bad firmware. They are said to have resolved the issues. It's a very good price if you don't mind dealing with the rebate. And from what I've read, if you do get a bad one, they are very good about replacing it. Here's the link.

I do however live in canada so i dont know if that makes a difference.

A 64gb microsdhc card on eBay for ~$60 shipped from Hong Kong...... not sure if you are aware of this but the majority of these "too good to be true" deals on eBay for microsdhc cards from Asia are fake.
Don't be surprised if it is a counterfeit when you get it. I do not recommend anyone buy microsdhc cards from eBay. There are a lot of fakes out there and most importantly manufacturers will not honor your warranty if something were to go wrong with the card.
Be smart people, spend the extra money and buy from a reputable vendor like newegg, Amazon, bestbuy, staples, etc. You will thank yourself later.

I would advise caution, and use a reputable ebay seller. Mine deserved his 5 stars review from me. I watched 50+gigs of video files get copied and show up and play, so I know I wasn't scammed. It is a genuine red-and-gray Sandisk.
But I won't speak for anyone else's lack of pre-research.
$65 bucks for a 64gb card is outstanding... and lucky for me, I am patient; years of cool and cheap goodies from dealextreme.com under my belt in preparation.
Example: picked up an outstanding leather case for my Note with the drawstrap built in, cost all of $2.60 and shipped for free. Those guys don't seem to care about losing money shipping small items from Hong Kong free.
(no, I did not buy the card from dx.com)
I agree, know what kind of seller they are before making the purchase. eBay isnt all that bad, ive bought hundreds of stuff on there and never got scammed. *knocks on wood*. Also, if you use paypal, you can always dispute an item.
