[Q] [REQ] minecraft pocket edition - Galaxy Ace S5830 General

Hi,
I like to play minecraft on pc, but pocket edition isnt working on galaxy ace.
Does someone know how to make it work?

system requirement/s problems so cant be played

yeah thought so

With some apps though, you can download the apk from a 3rd party source (that's piracy) and install it. Not all apps work with this method, and it's against the law, hope this helps.

You can't play minecraft pocket edition on your Ace. It's because our Ace has a armv6 (or whatever) processor, but a armv7 is needed. Just like with the Adobe Flash Player, only flash player has already been modded to work on armv6 devices. So only thing you can do now is play some other games similar to minecraft or wait for someone to magically mod it to work on our Ace ( which i think aint gonna happen ... )

thats too bad

Dungeon Hunter

I saw this Video on youtube, and I couldn't believe. It shows Dungeon Hunter on I5800. So now to my Question: How did he make them run? Please help me.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5RTazDMuE8Y&feature=related
i heard the game need flash 10 g3 have no flash player ..hmm.. interesting ...
i think its fake video.......
I don't think its a fake, because on other videos you can see the galaxy 3 running raging thunder 2 and such games. I can't even play raging thunder 2 XD also not with version 1.0.9 ^^
It is possible, but you need to download by PC the SD Data for that game.
Pls tell me how to do that^^
Edit:
I found out how.
~closed~

pls tel us as early as possible.... very eager to play those games...
OK,
At first you have to download the game, I don't no if I'm allowed to post links here or not. I have downloaded it from pandaapps. Simple type it into google^^.
1. Download the .apk and the SD files of the game.
2. extract the SD files
3. Make a file folder calles: gameloft on the root of your sdcard. In the gameloft folder make a new folder called: games (gameloft and games have to be written small)
4. Extract the SD files to /sdcard/gameloft/games
5. Now install the .apk and play^^
Hope I could help you guys out
lg

hey it worked for me.... i tried from said website its pretty cool....... i aslo downloaded gt racing its also working... good 3d game.... amazing grafix..... thanx a lot....
No prob Happy that I could help you
U guys are talking about not HD version of that game? Right? I thought that HD doesn't work on our devices. :/
Using Kyrillo's ROM v2.3
downloading...but i dont know which version i have to download hope it will work
I don't get it. When I open panda apps in google my browser closes by it self. :/
OK Guys I have done it with the HD version 3.1.1^^ from pandaapp. And Rekooo I don't know how old you are, but I'm 16, and my parents had installed such a programm on my pc, that closes such sites^^
Yes, and the only two games I could made run till now are Dungeon Hunter and GT Motor academy^^.
And for those who think the hardware is crap^^ I have compared galaxy 3 with IPhone 3gs ^^ and our processor is nearly 70MHz stronger^^ and the ram is exactly the same. Our phone is no crap, the only problem is, that there are no 3d drivers for our device yet. Hope a dev could make one, or some people write to samsung^^
Edit: it's not the hd version But who cares?
Well, I think without a dedicated GPU or 3D Drivers we can wait a long time until all those high-end games run normally on the G3.
I've tried Dungeon Hunter and GT Racing myself. Dungeon Hunter wouldn't let me get into the 1st city, no idea why. GT Racing's framerate was just to sloppy though.. :/
I know in games wiyh other racers it lags. But dungeon hunter works very good on my device.
A race game that i would recommend is raging thunder^^ works without lags^^

Minecraft Pocket Edition

Minecraft was released for the Xperia play.
I haven't tried this out yet but I'm thinking:
build.prop edit
Chainfire 3D + Qualcomm
Wii Classic Controller remapped to Xperia Play
Hmm, having a problem getting it from the market. I have edited my build.prop to show up as "Sony Ericsson R800i" in the market, however the market still says the game is incompatible.
Is your phone ARMv7? I downloaded the apk of the demo and installed it, then, when I lauch the app it crashes. My phone is still an ARMv6 architechture ..

Good thing this is the Nook Color forums.....still.
I have the demo, it runs but the screen size is smaller than that of the Nook Color.
The classic controller works, though I can't figure out how, if possible, to remap the right analog stick to act as the xperia's right touchpad.
I can walk around the generated level and jump, build, etc, I just can't turn the camera so it's pointless.
No chainfire/build.prop edits here. (But I didn't get the .apk from the market.)
sinfulandroid.com has a modified version of the demo that loads.
ps3 sixaxis works, but same problem you have with no right stick.
Yeah I wanted to do this without having to goto a hacked APK.
There is a Wiimote app in the market that lets you remap all the Xperia Play controls. I was going to use that. Can't remember the name right now.
Also I am running 240 DPI (MIUI) so I think the assets will size properly
Yeah, I don't think I have a hacked .apk, but I've tried the "hacked" one and I see no difference. It might just be promotion for that site...
wiimotecontroller lets you map the xperia controls. Just not the xperia touchpads as far as I can tell.
the app I have is called wiimotecontroller and its free on the market. good luck on getting it to work ill experiment a bit too
EDIT: whoops, I didn't see the post above me...

I'm hopeful, but disappointed. Just got the Sixaxis to work on the nook and started walking in Minecraft and got all excited, then realized I couldn't turn. Someone here has got to be smart as **** and be able to make the touchpad a mappable an option in either app.

[Q] Useful Apps + Games?

I know the hardware isnt really top dog in this phone but I recently installed Gameboid + Pokemon, been playing for hours and it runs pretty decently. I am pretty tech savvy to and run my own website so I was wondering what are the must have apps for a tech wiz? anything useful? I found Droidsheep which is pretty fun. What games work well on our devices too? anything besides the text based mafia wars style games?
Thanks!
well you can try this: http : / / samsung-i5800.org.ua (without spaces)
the site is russian so you need to use google translate but the games they offer are runing on Galaxy 3..i use GT Racing HD (works even without Chainfire3D),and Gangstar (with Chainfire3D) they run pretty smooth..well,just give it a try and see what you like

[APP] Daxter on Galaxy Note II (PSP Emulator)

Need a new game to play? Something which awesome graphic? Something new? Then take a look at this
Google Play developer Henrik RydgÄrd has made an PSP emulator that after the last update is capable of running the game Daxter pretty well on our Note II. There is of course some minor FPS lags, and cutscenes dosen't seems to work - But it's still playable. If you've spent hours and hours of your childhood with the Jak & Daxter then you should diffently try it out
So far i've also tried these games:
Tekken 6 - Unplayable (hangs at loading screen)
God of War Chains of Olympus - Unplayable (extremly slow FPS, but works)
Emulator dosen't require a Bios, BUT it does require a ISO of the original UMD, as always DO NOT ASK FOR DOWNLOADS! Xda does NOT support piracy - You'll have to rip the UMD yourself which requires that you have access to a PSP with CFW.
If you want to support the developer there is also a donate edition of the app.
You can get the emulator here:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsIm9yZy5wcHNzcHAucHBzc3BwIl0.
NOTE - The PS3 sixaxis controller does work with this game using touch emulation.
thanks for the tip

Which games don't lag?

Currently i've have only tried Daxter with success - A list can be found here:
http://www.ppsspp.org/compatibility.html
This looks promising
http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=574
Very promising indeed! Best emulator project ever IMO
Tried Tekken Dark Resurrection today, there is stil some work to be done, but if you enable frame skipping it's OK in the practice level. Background music does load but only for a few seconds.
Can't wait to see the next relase of the emulator - imagining being able to just plug your Note in a HDMI dock and play tekken with your pals
Buildbot
Just found out that there is automated builds of the project - It is being updated serveral times a day so if you've got a game that currently dosen't work you should try to download one of these builds:
http://buildbot.orphis.net/ppsspp/
I've have downloaded the latest release, and it fixes the missing sound problem i was having when playing Dragonball Shin Budokai 2
There is of course still work to do, since there is some minor audio issues, but in general the is one of the most playable games (played it like for 3 hours yesterday)
So if you got it lying around grab that PSP and dumb it
On a little side note i've noticed that when using my Note 2 in the Smart Dock the performance of PPSSPP would significally drop:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=42781190#post42781190
So if you want better performance use it without the dockingstation.
Is there any game that works without any bugs or lag?
Little Big Planet seems to be working well enough

MT27i any life in it for a 6 yo kid?

I found a Sola forgotten in a drawer, I wonder if any of the custom ROMs will enable me to at least have a usable basic Play Store to get maybe YouTube or a couple of very basic games?
As is right now, even Play Store is not workable.
Help?

Whats Android version it is? I have one Xperia Sola too and i use a Custom Jelly Bean ROM. I can use basic functions, spotify lite, youtube (on Browser), etc.
It has the latest that Sola supports officially. I think 4.X.
Anyway I don't care too much any more. I found also a Samsung A5 '6 in another drawer.
Much better.
you should probably just give him the sony xperia.. most kids that start of with very good phones get addicted real quick but when there is a limitation (frames) for games then they dont play as much cause it plays horrible i could hook you up with some games for old phones (pvz cut the rope, tiger ball old versions of minecraft angry birds) that would work flawelessly on old devices.
