I just bought a Samsung Galaxy SII i9100G and I can't find how to unlock it (I was able to root it thanks to Unlock Root).
I'd like to know if it is possible to unlock it? And if it is, how to do it?

What do you cal unlock?

I bought this phone in another country, and I'd like now to use it with a sim card from another country.
How can I unlock it to use it with other sim Cards?
Go to xda front page and look new from about first three pages, there you should find app that generates unlock codes
Sent from my sgs2 running cm9 using xda app
I downloaded the app to Unlock the Galaxy S2, but it goes on through five steps from 0 to 100% and tells me that it can't find the code to unlock my phone.
I think maybe it's because it is a S2 GT-i9100G
What should I do?

it has froyo 2.2 , build number FROYO.UGKC1
i want to unlock it - sim unlock
i rooted it with superOneClick root
i cant get codes with SGS unlock tools , i tried many approaches but not yet !!!
any one successful method for this model ???

Head over to the i9000 forums specifically the general forum. You'll find info for that phone there as well as stock and custom roms

if you wish to unlock it just go buy a code for it.

they gave me an unlock code and an unfreeze code incase i needed that as well.

Hi guys,
Is there a way to unlock international galaxy s3 withour rooting a device?
If not, what is the free and simple way to do that?
I did a lot of research on this site and on the internet, but I could not find a way to unlock my Samsung Galaxy S2 SGH-i757m from Bell.
So far, I have learned how to root the phone, how to flash the phone and how to install different ROMs.
I tried to unlock it with Galaxy S unlock, Galaxy Sim Unlock etc...but nothing works!
Is anyone here know how to unlock this phone? Please give me some hints. Thank you in advance.
I am wondering if a net 10 Samsung Galaxy SII (sgh-s959g) can be unlocked for use with another carrier (t-mobile specifically)?
Would it have to be flashed with new software first?

If it's not in here, then I guess you'd have to try galaxysim unlock.
You need to be rooted, of course.

Well, my problem is that I can't do the sim unlock and I think it is because the phone has 4.1.2 and a rooted kernel.( the phone isnot mine,owns to one friend)
I've been trying with the 2 most popular apps : Galaxy s2 sim unlock by chainfire and odia, and galaxy s unlock (this I think no root needed).
I'm thinkin that I can't unlock it because the kernel is not the official one. The phone is from Orange (Spain) and yesterday i was trying to flash the original firmware downloaded from Sammobile and it crash, so I had to flash a kernel (ApoloJb) to make it run again.
I am crazy to get the unlock sim... because If I get the sim unlock my friend will give me the S2
