[App REQ] HUBS Widget (pics included) - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So I am new to the Android Tablet world, but I love a clean organized looking device. HUBS seems to be a very popular route to go, and the look/customizability is awesome.
I was hoping someone that makes apps could develop this widget to make it easier to setup and restore after flashing new ROMs

"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
If anyone has set this type of layout up, they know how tedious it is. Then if you want to flash a new ROM you get to basically start all over. On top of that many times the overlapped widgets don't play nice and you have to fix it everytime you switch from landscape to portrait and back...
I don't know how difficult an app like this would be, and if I had any clue on how to make it I would. But I figured I would put it out there and see if I can drum up some interest for it. I would pay for it obviously...

Questions or Problems Should Not Be Posted in the Development Forum
Please Post in the Correct Forums & Read the Forum Rules
Moving to Q&A

Sorry, but I did read the stickies and it didn't say anything about rules for the Applications thread...
Its not really a question or a problem, just a request for the development of an app. Therefore, app development seemed like a good place...

GPS Full Screen Speedometer
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Speedometer not working? Maybe you're tired of your dimmly lit stick and bars speedometer. Well here's a better, easier, and possibly safer way to maintain and moniter your speed without the extensive work and expensive changes to your vehicle. It's skinnable in many different color choices and easy to use!
I had this thread originally posted here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=472267
But I noticed that there was a growing amount of requests for such an app and I had it in a different forum completely when this is compatable with all WM devices. It may not have all the cool bells and whistles that the other apps have thanks to their talented developers, but it's full screen, functional and I like it.

I later out found that I had gotten props for my post here at XDA on other sites. One of them even made a video:

Request reverse screen option then phone can be laid down on the dash and used as head up

[Q] Theming Help - Tabs, and more

Hey guys so I m pretty much flat out new to theming and Android in general but I've gotten by so far with google and sites such as this, and androidforums. Except I keep running into problems and I figured posting my self would probably be best. My plan is to update this post with new questions I have and also keeping updated with the correct answer if provided for easy reference for future use.
So without further ado my first problem lies currently in twframework-res.apk.
Currently I am trying to edit the tw_tab_selected.9.png. I have an odd problem in that when I edit it and add in the proper guidelines in draw9- which was none (*Note the original tw_tab_selected.9.png actually does not have any guidelines even though it is a .9png) it seems to stretch out like below:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
The image SHOULD stretch out and appear like the following image:
Couple of notes:
- I have tried adding guidelines to my modified tw_tab_selected.9.png, below is an example of one of the guideline formats I tried but still yielded similar results as above picture #1 (This was following the draw9 guidelines of a similar image tw_tab_selected_ss.9.png)

Star Wars Planet Weather App Suggestion

Would anyone like to develop an app that shows the current weather on various Star Wars planets, like the display seen before the Star Tours ride at Disneyland?

Just a cool idea. All the weather readings should not relate to Earth weather, or that spoils the fun of this being the real weather on those planets. Also, real data might be able to be scraped from some Lucasfilm sites such as one I think called Holonet News or such-like, that's supposed to be real news from that Galaxy.
Questions should be posted in Q&A forums, not Development forums.

You could spend a little time in photo editing software and UCCW on your Android device. Shouldn't take that long to set up.

Just Rooted.......Finally!

After about 45 minutes of nervousness, I finally got this bad boy rooted. But now, I want it to shine. I want the latest & greatest of all root ideas from you all.
Mostly though, I installed a custom rom called JMZStock VM Shooter Odex. I'm not sure if it's all that, but if there's a better one out there, I'd sure like to have it.
So, give me your thoughs & ideas on this.
In advance........Thank You.
You're a senior member and should know better, so you get one Picard:

Try the [Discussion] Evo 3D ROM Information Thread in the General Forum.
You started this thread in the Themes and Apps Forum which has nothing to do with you getting root. Your best bet in the future is to post in the Q&A Forum unless your are sure the thread belongs somewhere else.

The only reason I posted in that section was because I was seeking themes & apps, so I thought that was the appropriate section. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
Now, as for those suggestions.....

Paid app with no link to get it for free (not even a trial option on the store). Violation of the forum rules (you know, the ones linked at the top of every forum section?), particularly rule #11: Don’t post with the intention of selling something.
If you want to post advertising, you can pay XDA for that and they will put it in a nice little sidebar or whatever. If you want to get feedback from XDA members, post a copy of the app (a .XAP is fine; most of us have dev-unlocked phones, especially now that it's free). Do not use the forum as an ad platform!
Thread closed based on Post 2.
