For anyone who want to change their standard input with "Mini ROM Manager"
This is for HW-keyboard or other Mini ROM Manager features, go to this LINK and install the apk in ur phone, and go to build.prop and change from
ro.product.model=x10 Mini Pro to ro.product.model=U20i
Then reboot and open "Mini ROM Manager": Extras>Change HW-keyboard>choose your own language and then reboot again!
Only for Standard Input

BEFORE YOU START!
This is a tutorial for the SWEDISH KEYBOARD INPUT METHOD
If you want to make your x10 mini pro running another language input, follow the tutorial:

And then simply replace the zip-file you have changed with step 1

Flash it with CWM recovery

First tell me, what language is it that you request?
And did you download the file from my link, if you did, the language i uploaded was set for swedish so that may be the problem with your keyboard.
But dont worry just tell me your language and i will fix that

im sorry but i cant find any german input option, so you will have to flash this and make it as before:

If you want to use the german letters "ä,Ü,Ö", change to standartinput. and hold "o" or hold "u" or hold "a". Then you will se there are options for these letters

Use File Explorer, select Show All Files, then go to folder Windows and find msim.96.dll.0409.mui. Rename this file to old_msim.96.dll.mui, then copy a new file attached below. Resart your device and see what is happen

This app has the capacity to change languages for keyboard, as well as installing cabs & XML!
So if you get the keyboard you want, it doesn't matter what form the install files are, you should be able to do it.
I don't know if this app will work on prophet, but it's worth a try. It does require .NET Compact Framework v.2.0 SP1 or higher.

Dear All,
Earlier in WM5 i was using the phone pad as a keyboard while key-ing in text messages while travelling on bumpy roads...i am using PDAViet 4.0.0.3 now and it does not have the phone pad as one of the option in the input method....
Any idea how to enable the phone pad?

Well many of us are using EzInput on our Acer NeoTouch.
Some of us use WWE ROMs or some other Custom ROMs in other Languages.
The problem is if i use a ROM in English and i am posting in German, or Italian Board - and i write with XT9 option activated so a get suggested words, there are missing T9 Dictionary´s on most of the ROMs with EzInput integrated.
So i gathered together Dictionary's in this Languages: Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Norwegian, Polish, Russian, Spanish and Swedish.
I also integrated a link to EzInput Menu where you can choose between this Languages and between different Keyboard layouts - its in Start Menu > Programs.
If you don´t have EzInput on your Acer - no problem i also made one for you - you can download English version here.
Here are some pictures of the EzInput Menu (its an old picture just showing 5 languages, but all of the 12 are integrated):

This is not language pack for the input, its only Dictionary in those languages.
So your input characters will stay the same, but if you write in other language then English you will get word suggestions.
I never managed to get XT9 to work properly with greek, i was always missing something...do you have a link with a guide or something to read through?

when i install the greek-english alone, in the languages i get all the languages that i originally had in my rom (4-5 of them) but no greek.
if i install your multilanguage xt9 and greek-english on top i get all of your languages but no greek
i'm using arto's 2.9 or 3.0 can't remember which one exactly

On my Acer S200 I mount the Arto's ROM [Arto's Sense 3.6 IT (3.003c drivers, 21911, 2016)] with Co0kie's Home Tab v1.8.5 and everything works perfectly, except the keyboard wich is only QWERTY! I tried to install thi cab but it crashes the system and I need to reinstall the ROM (it happened several times!!!).
Does anybody knows what could I do to solve the problem?
Using QWERTY really sucks me! I'm confortable with "telephone keyboard".

I also use arto 3.6 wwe rom and co0kie's home tav 1.8.5 and working good. Try to install only the brainmaster´s Multilanguage XT9.cab from first post if not working try to install the full ezinput.

Thanks for your efforts in giving us full language support! But is it really impossible to add languages via xrecovery?
Because if you provide full ROM, you'll have to add and reupload your ROM with every update by Trip (who is already at 2.9.1 - see what i mean ). And (no offense) it seems a little weird to release the exactly same ROM only plus extra languages as a separate project. I know you said you cannot make an update file, so really no offense to you. But what exactly is the problem? I can't download right now to look into the archive, so what files do you have to overwrite/change to add languages?

You need to check keyboard name in your ROM
*If you have DEFAULT INPUT keyboard in your ROM and you direct flash the stock keyboard, you have a Fatal bug
that bug is:
1. if you shut down your phone....Stock keyboard had been lost
2. No need to shut down maybe about 30 minutes...also Stock keyboard had been lost
so first you need to DELETE the DEFAULT INPUT in your custom ROM
then, Flash the stock keyboard
Done...
* If you don't have DEFAULT INPUT keyboard
just go to Flash the stock keyboard

U cant make the gingerbread sony keyboard work on eclair because you will get parse error(among other inconveniences)

Yes, it work but partially.

Everybody know that this application can stand alone..
BUT
to work perfectly(complete) to other roms need and the predictions files
On other keyboards (like android one)those files is in keyboard.apk
With this one we need to put in rom system or manually or with a flash zip

The apk has three different layouts to select.
Picture 1 is the 1. option, in Normalmode it has a compact layout and in landscape the full.
I dont believe, that the apk work´s on GB 2.3.7. I believe it´s only for ICS and JB..

Install the files in zipfolder manual.
Copy the files inside to the systemfolders and change the permissions correct.
This method i use and i have no problems.

I have a mini pro with JB 4.1.1 and I can not flash with this zip.
Can I try the manual method but I need to know what to give permissions to the folders. I really want this keyboard, please thanked response

Ok i tryed to flash it, and it flashed but nothing,than i did copy all files like showed on original thread but still noting,then i tried to install apk file but i got parse error??? It just won't show up?? How to change permissions, i'm not familiar with doing that??
And now when i try to install i get application not installed???
And is possible to have for gb? I have an x10 mini with minicm7-2.2.1 robyn and the normal t9 keyboard isn't good. I have seen that xperia S keyboard is in [ROM] Semc Debrand Engine. Exists for gingerbread?

Try this, its for Gingerbread i used this in my Mini on GingerDXv29 without problems.
