[Q] Report mail as no spam in GMail ICS app - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

The GMail-App on my Xoom and my Nexus S (both with Android 4.0.3) is driving me crazy. In former times I could easily report mails as no spam.
That doesn't work anymore. Instead I guess it should be possible to mark the mails and label them as "Inbox". But that doesn't work, either. With some luck, it works with 1 or 2 mails, but the rest stays in SPAM, even though at first they disappear from the spam-folder.
Isn't there a way to do that? Why is there no real option to mark the mails as no spam?
Regards
McDV

Hi McDV,
I just upgraded to ICS and I am running into the same issue.
Given how few responses have been given, I think I'm missing something very obvious.
Did you manage to solve it already, and if so, how?
Thanks,
Charles

Contact syncronizing issue

Okay, I´m now turning to the greatest Android forum on the internet in hope of help.
I´ve been searching and browsing both this and other sites trying to figure out how to solve my problem, without any luck so far.
I am currently running BeHero v1.3.2, in case you need to know.
People / Menu / Show
Sim 124
Google 240
Exchange 226
Phone 124
The numbers is offcourse the number of contatc in each category.
How can I sync these? Right now its a mess, I dont know how many duplicates there is, I dont even know how many real contact I actually have.
I would like to move all those contacts into a single place and then somehow remove duplicates and them get them back into my phone.
I really hope someone knows, and I really really hope that if someone does, he/she could tell me and pretend that I'm a 5-year old kid. I mean like a step-by-step instruction that simply cant be missunderstood.
I'm on my knees, begging for help.

[Q] Possible for Swipe to Clear Notification Count as READ Message?

Hey guys!
As you can see my first post here although I frequently come to xda to fix any problems I have or to browse roms, I love this website! This is the first time that I couldnt find a thread relating to what I am looking for (I hope I havnt missed it). I was also told to post my question here, originally I had it in Q/A but was told ppl may be able to give me an answer here.
At the moment I am using CM 7.1 on my Desire HD.
I was wondering if it is possible that when I swipe to clear a notification (in particular messages, I used GO SMS for text messages and Whatsapp) that it counts as a 'read' message. At the moment it just removes it from the notification bar although the message is still unread.
I hope I made clear what I am trying to get across.
Any help would be grateful. Is what I am looking for even possible?
Thanks!!
Is it possible to develop somthing like this in an app/kernal/Rom?
Sorry..dont mean to spam but could someone just say if this is a feasible idea?

Native email app (missing 'mark as read')

I swear to God the first time I'm installed an ICS leak, I noticed that the email app finally had the option I was looking for. When you mark some emails down the lefthandside in the checkbox, you can bring up the menu and choose mark as read, or mark ALL as read.
Now released fully, ICS does not have this, only single mails at a time by long pressing on them.
Is this something someone can modify easily? Surely I'm not alone with this missing feature? I did find another developer that had made one, but I tired (and failed) to use it. The app loads, but crashes when retrieving mails.

Can any clever people help out here - pretty please?
Does have that option, look hard
Hint: its an icon not menu item.

Thanks for the reply, boy do I feel an idiot now. But, to be fair [trying to justify my stupidy], it *was* a menu option before.

Galaxy S3 - Jelly Bean - SMS Warning

Help Please: Samsung Galaxy S3 - How to disable this annoying sms warning?
Jelly Bean update triggered this warning.
Sometimes I am sending 3000 SMS in 30 minutes.
Could you walk me through the process?
I have rooted my phone so I can access any folder.
Is any way to modifying the quota? Where do I have to go?
Please help, need this desperately. Thank you. THV
Wow...1.67 sms per second.

Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
Sorry I have no idea have you tried searching the forums or do you not have enough free time sending 3000 texts in half an hour :/ I'm surprised you had time to write the OP. Haha sorry just try searching for it there will be an answer somewhere.
Sent From My Omega'd Galaxy S3 ...
so presumably youre one of those annoying people that spam others via text?
Even if i knew how to stop it id hope no-one would help
Hello again to all good willing people out there. Just to clarify, I'm a Pastor and all the sms are sent only to people who register for sms info and encouragements, but only people connected to our church. I dont do spamming. When I send 3k of text sms at once, it may be a long text spanning over serveral sms. If anyone can help, I will be very grateful. Thank you.

[Q] Custom Vibration Patterns

I posted this in Android Q&A and it quickly got lost... so hopefully someone here will know. I asked in Beans' thread as well because that's the ROM I'm using.
Searched google/XDA extensively. Does anyone know the milliseconds used in Android's heartbeat vibration for calls? I want to mimic it for text messages in the AOSP messaging app.
This is what I have so far:
0,225,300,225,1000,225,300,225
It doesn't feel quite right but it's hard to adjust please help if you can! thanks in advance.
I got a vibration tester now but I still can't get it right.

Thanks! I haven't had this phone for almost 9 months but I really appreciate it -- I'll use it on my phone now.
