SGTab 7.7 30-pin connector - Galaxy Tab 7.7 Accessories

I have a SGNexus (Verizon), an iP4 (ATT, company provided) and a SGTab 7.7 and both the iP4 and the SGTab 7.7 have 30-pin connectors. My question is, are the connectors interchangeable between the iP4 and the SGTab 7.7? That is, can I charge my SGTab 7.7 from the iP4 charger and cable and/or can I charge the iP4 from the SGTab 7.7 charger and cable?
Brian

No they arent, they look the same but the pins are on opposite sides so dont try and plug an iphone cable into the samsungs or viceversa

Where to find US adapter for the official charger?

Hi guys, does anyone here know where to buy the US adapter part of the charger? I am speaking specifically of the piece that goes into the charger. The two pronged plug insert itself. Here is a link of an item on ebay that includes the adapter with the charger.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/US-USB-Wall...ccessories&hash=item3a742ee563#ht_3518wt_1018
So ideally I'm looking to spend less than $9 (otherwise I can just buy above item and keep the charger as a spare). I don't want to use an US adapter on top of the Hong Kong one on my tab because it becomes way to bulky and would not fit the outlet near my bed. I'd need to use this outlet as its most ideal.
Thanks in advance for any replies.
EDIT: I'm going to post this in the galaxy tab 10.1 forum as well just so it gets more hits. Its a bit dead here with respect to there.
I think you'll have an hard time getting just the pronged plug...and that's 9$ with shipping included, so maybe it is better to just order the full charger.
...but you made me curious...
Contrary to my previous GT-P1000 charger, the charger on my new 7.7 (European edition) does not feature a USB socket on top where the USB plug then goes, like the one on the Ebay link. Instead, it features an integral cord coming out of the charger (a stand-alone USB cable was also provided in the package for PC connection purposes)
Do you mean that the US version features the much more practical "charger with USB socket + USB cable" solution?
This is important to me since I figured the chargers had been changed from model to model on account of a technical imposition (the cord end from the charger, on the tab side also features a different, slightly longer plug, when compared to the GT-P1000 one)
If it is the case that the charger format is optional, I will jump and get one of the "old" ones as the previous arrangement (charger + separate cable) is way more versatile.
XK
The US version charger is a usb charger adaptor. Also, it has the front plug portion changeable for regions if you have the fittings. I'll take pictures when im home

Charging S2 with iPhone AC adapter?

I got my S2 AC charger lost. Can I charge my S2 with my iPhone 4's AC adapter, and with Samsung's usb cable? Won't it burn my phone, or do some serious problems?

It will be fine. Your phone won't explode.
It won't harm your phone physically but your galaxy s2 can be affected mentally. It may suicide or become deppresive after an apple charger.
I've been using an iPhone charger (i had one lying around don't judge me) for a couple of months and nothing has gone wrong so you should be fine.

[Q] Smart Dock Compatibility

Hello,
I am wondering, is Galaxy Note II's Smart Dock working with Galaxy Mega 6.3?
Seems to be... I'm using mine and when I plug it in it goes into dock mode.
I have a TPU case on mine and it fits pretty well.

Just a question, does it charge when you plug in an Original Samsung Travel Charger 5v 2.0A . Im asking this because i had some MHL 1.0 adapters wich were up to 5v 0.1A and it was draining my battery.

Samsung microUSB 3.0 cable is too stiff -- Any more flexible?

As I'm sure most of you have noticed, the microUSB 3.0 charging cable that Samsung includes with the Note3 is much stiffer than any of the USB2.0 cables they've shipped in the past, and almost as stiff as some heavy duty 3rd-party usb2.0 cables I have (such as from MediaBridge). I know USB3.0 carries a few extra wires for power, but it shouldn't make that much of a difference, should it?
Wondering if anyone's seen any more flexible microUSB 3.0 cables around? I couldn't find anything at Amazon or Monoprice. A flex, ribbon, or even retractable would be nice.
I know I could fall back to using a usb2.0 cable for most use cases, but I'd like to stick with 3.0 if possible. This stiff cable makes using the phone while charging more awkward, and it makes it more likely that it'll pop my phone off of the desk stand I'm using (a thoughtout ped3 universal stand) and onto the floor because the cable's pushing on the port when bent.
I have used the other less stiff cables and they charge much slower. It's because of resistance reduction maybe required for the 2 Amp output charger to do the stronger charging needed (and the extra cabling included as well)...

I this Samsung one is OK because I have few micro USB 3.0 cables and they are either too stiff to unplug or it does not fit Tech21 case.
Would something like this help?

All the 3.0 cables I've seen have been pretty stiff.
I am waiting for mediabridge micro USB 3.0 cable to hit the market. I've grown find of their quality stuff at absolutely very competitive prices.

Ehh my Mediabridge 10Ft Micro USB 2.0 has no issue charging at same rate as stock cable our phone came with. And my cord is very flexible.

I purchased an Amazon Basics 6ft long cable from Amazon (of course), and it is even more stiff than the standard cable that comes with the phone. On the cable itself it is stamped, "AmazonBasics * PREMIUM USB3.0 CABLE * SUPERSPEED DATA TRANSFER * E202888 AWM STYLE 2725 VW-1 80 (degrees)C 30V." The molded ends have Amazon Basics emblems on them. I am a bit concerned that the stiffness of this cable could cause enough leveraging force to damage the phone's connector.
That's what she said

Unless you absolutely need USB 3.0 speed, and to be honest there isn't much that does ... just use one of these
http://www.monoprice.com/Product?c_id=103&cp_id=10303&cs_id=1030307&p_id=9965&seq=1&format=2
I have USB 3.0 cables (stock and a couple I got from ebay) but the monoprice USB 2.0 cables are super thin and the connector is small enough to fit through any case. The 6ft USB 2.0 cables also charge at the full 1800mA so really the only justification for using USB 3.0 is if I'm doing direct transfers to the internal storage or plugging in a super fast external drive. Writing to the the external SD card is limited to around 20MB/s so USB 3.0 is overkill for that.
The stiffness is cumbersome but I feel the whole connector, the extra part for usb3, makes the physical connection more solid. Meaning it would take more effort for it it. OTOH though, dropping your phone directly on either a 2 or 3 connector makes it feel more likely for the phone side to break. Choose your poison.

Need a longer USB cable and an international charger

Hello,
The white cable which came with the PRO 12.2 is a bit too short for me. I am looking for one which is about 30-50% longer. Can't find it on Samsung website. Any recommendation? Do thicker cables and cables made of better materials lead to faster charging?
I bought the Note PRO 12.2 LTE in Hong Kong. The charger has 3 legs (one extendable) for the electric outlet. Is there a Samsung official charger or adapter kit that I can use in the US, Japan and China?
Thanks.
Hey bud eBay 10ft cables and they have international chargers see them today

Thanks but I usually don't buy from ebay. Given the cost of the Note Pro, I am looking for high quality products from well known companies. Ordering through Amazon is fine.
Actually what kind of usb cable came with our PRO 12.2? Is it just a normal USB 3.0 cable? Any specification on its impedance?
Hello, local stores have the following Samsung chargers. Which one is fully compatible with our PRO 12.2?
USB Travel Adapter for N7100 Galaxy Note II ETA-U90 EWE
Travel Adapter for S4 ETA-U90CBC

You would be better off with the Samsung Note 3 (N900) Travel Adapter / Charger, and the Note 3 USB3 Cables if you can find them as Official Samsung products.
Here is the Official Note 3 Travel Adapter:
http://www.samsung.com/us/mobile/cell-phones-accessories/EP-TA10JWEQSTA
Amazon have it listed as:
http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-21-Pin-Travel-Charger-Packaging/dp/B00K3MH7IS
However the cable length is not as big as the Official NotePRO 12.2 cable, as I have purchased both and the one that comes with the Note 3 Travel Adapter is much shorter.
Thanks, so I just get the Samsung Note 3 (N900) Travel Adapter / Charger and use it with the usb3 cable which came with the Note PRO 12.2?
I was told that the length of usb3 cables from Samsung is <= 5 feet. If I want longer one, I need to go for 3rd party products. Any recommendation? As you may know, some iPhone users used unofficial products and had their phones damaged or got killed. We have already paid a lot for our Note PRO already. It is better to get a good quality cable from reputable company.
The official charger for the Note 3 is identical to the one of the NotePro. It's called Travel Adapter even straight from the box of the phone itself. It works with the NotePro cable without issue. (I'm using them both interchangably to charge my NotePro and Note 3.)
Apple installed some kind of sensor in their devices that breaks things when they're not using official equipment. Samsung has no such thing. (They tried it with the View covers, didn't go so well.)
Most decent USB 3.0 cables are fine. USB2.0 also shouldn't make any difference in terms of charging speed, it only affects transfer speed.
