First of all let me clear that I DONT HAVE A S2.
I want to develop a custom ROM for SGAce.
I wanted an important system file from SGSII. I request all SGSII users here to please provide me the build.prop system file from stock SGSII ROM.

Download the ROM and pull it out yourself, why create a thread asking people to do such a simple task?
I wanted a stock ROM's build.prop and I could not find any .zip Stock ROM plz provide if you can....

i am from galaxy y forum, i want to make a rom which is extremely themed like s2
so can anybode please give the apk file of s2 stock rom apps
like calculator, memo, etc and launchers, everything which is present in stock rom.

maybe you can download rom from android development section of S2 and extract its apps APKs, not only sure if all apps will be compatible

can anyone help me in designing a rom. actually im makin my own custom rom n need assistance to port the apps with there lib file and all other related file needed in porting...
example i want to port task manger from alliance rom to omega rom ... just an example....
another is how to modify systemui.apk file like i want it to be like miui4 ...
\plz help me out...
u can give me links to those threads related to these issues...

I try to find in all web site a guide that will help me to Larne how to edit A Offline Samsung Firmware ... I not want to Change big things I want to Add the Hebrew to the language . on the device have Hebrew if I run morelocale2 and Choose Hebrew but I want to edit the tar file and after that to flash it whit a Odin I and I want to add SU Super User to the app folder that will be on the rom after I Flash it whit the Odin I see it on different Rom that people Make I look every ware to find a guide but nobody make a guided like that All the experts here on the site also has not answered me about similar requests I hope that this time someone could help me .. Hi! Sorry if this question may seem too easy for you, but this is a new one for me!
I found an old Galaxy Y Duos and I wander if I can create a custom firmware for it by editing an existing one.
I found one, but it doesn't have one big archive which I can decompress and move/delete/rename/modify apks inside like I could do with some other firmware and afterwards recompress.No, but there are several files called BOOT_S6102DXLC2_REV01.tar.md5(bootloader) , PDA_S6102DXLC2_REV02.tar.md5(PDA) , torino_1205.pit.md5,MODEM_S6102DXLC2_REV01.tar.md5 which have to be manualy flashed with Odin.
I know that these files are designed partitions which will be mounted(? not so sure).
Q: how to decompress this thing and alter an system apk(like calculator) ? Is it possible ?
Q1: if it is possible, how can I alter the firmware so that instead of starting the default launcher at startup, there will pe an apk launched(e.g: ocvIcmFcRecog.apk)?
Q2: what tools do I need ?
