I use the elago slim case. It's fits really well and doesn't add any bulk. I got it off amazon for around 18 bucks after shipping.

Add the Seidio Active Holster with the Speck case and you'll be set.

Does it actually hold the phone well? I have the elago S4 case and would love to use a holster like that

I have this case and I've got to say that I feel it makes the note too bulky. It certainly adds as much protection as you would ever need although. And maybe I'm doing something wrong but when i take it off, I feel like I am going to break my phone in half. Its very hard to take off which I do often for battery pulls. Ya know?
Anyways. Just ordered some "slim" case off amazon one of the top rated ones. Should be here in a bit and I'll try that one out.

I got a clear one, both form and function are just fine. Got it from this guy $1.99 delivered.

Try fortte.com. They will customize any case in anyway shape or form as you instructed. Bought two cases for HD2 and Mesmerize.

Ballistic cases in my opinion are the BEST out there! Period. The have a bit of bulkiness due to the amount of protection they provide, but still feel nice in your hand. Coming soon I hope!

If you want a case close to otterbox quality, then get a Reiko case off Ebay. It 10 buck cheaper, but feel like 35.

Been using the Body Glove for vibrant on and off the past couple of months. Adds a little bulk but added protection from accidental drops makes it worth it.

my fav is the black rubbery one from T-Mo... got it at launch date. I've tried others since and they always fail by comparison.
Also, you know there is a whole section on this right? You may want to check there.
If you need real protection, and want it to still look good, Otterbox is the way to go. I don't really notice the phone being any thicker, but the protection is superb, and it looks elegant, to me at least.
Sedio Innocase, great protection and adds minimal bulk.

Naked is the only way to be. I throw mine in my pocket with keys and what not, no scratches yet. I tried numerous cases but keep going back to nothing at all.
Naked maybe a good way to go. I still have concerns with scratching the back so I put an invisible shield full-body cover on mine and haven't looked back. Hate the bulk that is added from the other cases too.
Otterbox for daily use & Trident case when boating

I was using a TPU case but I feel like I am killing my phone pressing the buttons. I have one of the I9000 mesh cases and am very happy with it without a screen protector. They are on eBay btw.

Hands down its the Otterbox. Case closed haha! Only thing is its the "commuter" so its a pocket style. Otterbox dont make the "defender" for our vibrants so no belt clip but search the threadz someone posted a discount code. I used it too!

I wanted to go naked, but was too paranoid, so my solution was a Barely There case. I've loved it because it doesn't add any bulk, and has already saved my phone a couple of times from dinged corners.

the harder it is on the side and spends most time in ur pocket, it scratches that chrome side/corners of ur vibrant... i had body glove with my other fone.. not saying its a bad case, extra protection from dropping is good.. but it does scratches it over time.. try a cheap silicone and with a case/pouch or w.e u call them.
Otterbox not only does it not add bulk, you can still put it in pocket! I've tried all the silicone ones. The OBX combo has held up the best so far.
Sexyness + Strong as hell... otterbox
Got a $2 silicone rubber case from ebay and it works just fine...

[Q] Suggestions on a cheap solid case?

I'm on the verge of buying a case for my SGS2 but I don't know what I should look for. I banged up my captivate pretty bad (even dropped it in water and it worked!) and would like to keep this phone sexy but functional. I need a case that will fit into my jeans and can still hold onto one handedly and is easy to use all the buttons and Ports. I'm considering a kind of rubber one because I would possibly like the feel of it and won't slip out of my hands. Screen protecters I feel are a waste because I've never scratched my captivate screen and I put it through hell. What are your suggestions for cases? If you could post a link to the product it would be great. Thanks!

I'm using this one...fits great, has a diamond-plate pattern texture where you grip it so it's not slippery in the hand. and has all the microphone holes in the right places for our model.

Ive been looking at this one, which is a few bucks cheaper but looks very similar to what you posted. http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-BLACK-S...745897?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item43aa3a2429
@BlakDye,
I have the $2.95 version of the tpu gel case from arena.gadget on the way. It was shipped on 10/28 so I should have it any day now. I currently have this case which I got as an incentive with my phone instead of a price match, but it is a little too bulky for me. If I like the tpu case, I'll be selling this one.

If they had that case hanging on the wall of an AT&T store I'm sure it would be $25.00!
and BTW it fits much better than the AGS case I bought when I got the phone.
nobody like pouch/holder,i dont think someone would using a case for long time.
i just use case with my phone for 1 month.

Case recommendations

Looking for a case just to be able to grip the phone better. Screen should be fine, as it's made from the good stuff.

Check the Amazon website. They have a lot of cases and/or holsters for good prices.
I would recommend the Otter box commuter case, not to bulky has a nice feel and most important protects the phone just fine!!
Sounds like you want minimalistic. Go get a Cruzerlite TPU case on Amazon. Like $10, and way less bulky than the Otterbox cases. Trust me on this one, you'll love it. There's a thread on it in the Accessories Forum with pics.

I just recently compared my phone with this case with someone who has the same phone in a Commuter case, and he was quite impressed by the much less bulky case I had, and is likely going to buy one to replace his Commuter. Cheaper, thinner, lighter, more stylish.

I'd say this is the case judging by the OP. Commuter wouldn't necessarily be as good for grip.
As always, I'll put in a plug for the Diztronics Matte Back TPU case.

Recently bought this case and and screen protector combo. I wasn't expecting a whole lot considering the price, but I must say I am very pleased with the quality of both products.
I used the casemate barely there case on my OG EVO for a while, and while I liked the case, it scratched the **** out of the sides of my phone. If the design is similar, I would stay away.

My wife and I bought the $1.99 (black) & $2.99 (pink) cases from Amazon. They're just as good as the $25 HTC cases we had for our OG EVOs.
Even if you're super tough on the phone and case, you could still buy a few of them for less than most other cases.

cheap clear case 9$

So I bought this case off ebay. It's pretty good I bought it mainly to protect the back leather area so I don't get any scratches I would recommend it. The case comes with a screen protector and a kickstand. Sorry 1st post figured I'd pitch in bought a heavy duty case also soon to come
I bought this case off amazon for cheap and it's surprisingly good. For the price.

I still think Diztronic holds the crown for best affordable case and arguably best case at any price for it's slim profile. It provides a lip around the screen as well as a lip around the camera.
I'd originally ordered the case as a temporary case until my Spigen Neohybrid case came in. But with Spigen screwing around with the ship date I decided to cancel the order completely and simply use the Diztronic case permanently. The quality is excellent and based on pictures of the Neo Hybrid, the Diztronic case is also more compact since the edge conforms to the phone more than the Spigen case does.

Hah I did the same thing. I ordered a case as a "get by" case but ended up liking it a lot.
My NH is "supposed" to ship on the 24th so I guess Ill just wait instead of risking it never getting canceled. I just hope it fits right.
Never thought accessories would be so limited for this phone. My local Verizon store only got 6 note 3's in on the launch day...

I've had Otterbox on another device, it wasn't nearly as good as the price would make you think. The rubber stretches after a time and doesn't fit properly, the screen protector is awful and on mine the belt clip broke after about 7 months.
If he really wants to spend the money there are better cases out there. Like the Seidio http://www.seidioonline.com/seidio-Samsung-Galaxy-Mega-6-3-s/8996.htm

Defender
I've had the O-Box Defender on my Mega since day 1. Love it. I attached a disc to the back so I can even wear it on my belt. :silly:
I got an otterbox for a galaxy mega, it feels great but It may have made the phone too big
I would try out the Trident Aegis case and fit the screen with a 9H tempered glass and your phone would be invulnerable to drops. I added this combination to my Mega 6.3 when I first got it and had a few drops here and there and nothing broke or chipped. The rubber material of the case is thicker and stronger then Otterbox's Defender in my opinion.
