Help me to begin - Sony Xperia P, U, Sola, Go

Hello everyone!
I apologize if I come presumptuously asking for your help.
I decided to dedicate myself to the development and correction of Rom cooked, but is something of a stranger.
I ask you experts, the material needed to start developing. Anything could help me. Guides to learn the language (I assume that it is necessary to know).
In addition I would like your own opinion on what I am going to do!
PS: Xperia Team is large?
I thank you humbly

I can answer only the PS: Yeah, CM has a big team that works only for Xperia devices. I know there is at least 5 devs.

No need to "up". You should be looking in the Android Development sub-forum, not the General sub-forum.

Hello! New X10 Mini Moderator!

Hello!
I'm TheDeadCPU. I'm the new forum Moderator for the X10 Mini forum!
I thought I'd make this post to introduce you guys to me.
I'm just here to keep it clean here.
Anything you'd like stickied and such please just tell me in this thread!
Though this thread will be cleaned from such things after it's been fixed.
I hope you guys will like me!

Hi, welcome!
I think you can start by stickying the 'Exploid' topic under Android Mini development, the same root is applicable on the mini pro so it could be linked on that sub-forum aswell.
device OS by manufacturer
If you select the devices by os or manufacturer and you select sony /android you are redirected to the x10 only not to the x10 Mini.
It would be good if this could be repaired

BTW all the best for your work
just a quick question...
why isn't there a reference here to the One-click Universal Androot Rooting Method for X10 Mini/Pro?
or i just don't know how to search?
just thinking it's less scary to root the phone that way especially for newbies?
Hi mod!
keep the updates coming!
*and then just like that i saw the thread...
Sorry...
Hello mod. I'm new here too (actually, I've lurked for quite a while). But today I wanted to post (for the first time?) and found out I can't link to images, so I'll be working towards unlocking that feature so I can share how I themed my X10 Mini Pro. Nice to meet you
Hello new moderator
I got a warning because of the line I had after every reply , I stopped doing that since.
The question is : can I reply to the warning message to say that i'm sorry?
Could the warning be at all removed?
Hi there, Nice to meet you

Hello
Its nice to meet you.

Why not miui ?

I am very disappointed because no one is asking the MIUI team to develope a MIUI version for our terminals.
It's truly a shame that we have a terminal so powerful but with a bad kernel
I encourage the users of this phone to ask HTC to solve the problem with the Kernel and ask the Miui team to consider offering us their wonderful interface.
Come on !!
try this

Thanks. That helps, too.

Don't be offended... but...
Basic idea of a developer is that he's able to search for his problem and find it's solution.
Let's assume you build AOSP, now, you are facing bugs (which won't be less), now, will you create a thread asking normal users on how to fix that bugs?
If they would have known, they would have made it too.
Likewise, if you are able or keen to develop for device and can't find something by searching (yes, everything is already present on this site, just needs some searching), I assume you'll have problems at each step.
So, first try to search, there are several guides in Android Software Development Section and Android Chef Central.
There is also Compiling from Source Q&A Help Thread to post you problem.
And, one last thing, starting development with a device like Ace S5830i is itself a very difficult task.

Theming and modding is different from development

What's up, how's Paraná? Greetings from Rio de Janeiro!
You know, you don't become a developer from an hour to another. I'm 16 years old, and i know it's a long way to go to be a developer. I'm learning a lot with all the members of Xda, like iamareebjamal, Sq Matrix and bieltv.3. Xda have tutorials and guides o' plenty for you to learn. So, i'll be waiting for your AOSP build.
