hi there! please help me to unbrick my alcatel 918n.. it is already rooted , i've use link2sd and accidentally move the apps.lib// to sd card. the phone hanged and when i try to reboot it android icon and an exclamation point only appearing. try to reset to factory mode and wipe all user data then reboot the phone, still nothing happens. is there any way i can unbrick it? please help me...thanks in advance!
do you have a backup of the system image? there could be a way to restore your phone using the smart phone flash tool.

Theres still a chance on how you can unbricked it. Try to follow my instructions here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1612233. And if it does boot next thing you must do is to instal a recovery so that your phone can be easily flashed again when something happend.

Developers in the house, I need your help on how to remove cwm on my tecno l3 ie returning it to stock or how I bought it. I have a stock rom dump from a friend. I have rooted the phone and flashed it with cwm but before doing it I did a backup which was having a .backup extension and hard reset the phone. After the installation of the cwm, I couldn't use the backup again. The only thing that I need from the backup file are my contacts and messages. I have tried all my best to extract from this backup but no success. PS: I hard reset my phone and then rooted it because it was locked due to wrong pattern by a friend, so the backup I made before resetting still contains the settings. Anyway to go about this? I will surely appreciate all suggestions and solutions. Thanks.

Hello there developers. I also i'm experiencing same issue but in a different device. I'm using Tecno F6 and install CWM but then i never new if resetting it in a normal way of going through SETTINGS > BACKUP & RESET could cause problems..so the next thing i found my device acting weird during the process of formatting so believing i'm saving the phone from further injury i decided to disconnect the battery and then i turned it on and there it is..HOME button doesnt work, notification panel doesnt show nothing, and if i hold power button it only brings two options, REBOOT and SHUT DOWN while at first it had so many options. Please help..i must have tampered the OS i believe :'(

Try flashing back using stockrom. Mine got fixed after flashing stock firmware.

hi guys,my lenovo A889 get error phone encrypt state and I have been trying to reboot my lenovo A889 using this procedure (the phone actually shutdown and came back with this prompt) but the reboot system now command does not work.The phone comes back to the reboot menu. please i need help :crying::crying:

Can you make it to recovery? If yes i don't think it is hardbricked because hardbrick means a phone that cannot be able to turn on or something corrupted in hardware. If your phone still boot and you make to recovery it means it is not hardbrick. Hardbrick can happen if you overwrite or corrupt bootloader. But nobody wants to do that.

I followed instructions by beershake and slipsystem and managed to hard brick my device some how.
I hard bricked my lg e450 l5ii
After phillz i wiped (factory reset) system got deleted everything got deleted basically a format.thereafter my pc couldn't pick up the phone so the only option was to format again via pc and download mode didn't work either. So after ot formatted phillz recovery made a script then switched offf and never turned on

Hello everyone !
So ... First, I unlocked successfully the bootloader, I flashed the recovery into TWRP 3.2.2. Everything is still normal, only the phone notify the "Orange State".
But, when I reboot into the TWRP, it is encrypted, I backed up my data ( system ) and WIPE the phone ( not include the backup). But when I restore the phone, it said that the encrypt password is right but the data was error(i guess). I choose reset the phone and it reboot to TWRP everytime I start the phone. I tried to use the SP Flashtool and this ROM :
.firmwarefile . com/nokia-1-ta-1047 . But it regonize the MT6735 chip and only two NAME is "NVRAM" and "NVDATA".
What should I do now? I don't have the nb0 to use OST ? I don't know how to use it too.

actually, i've brought it to the Nokia Care and it's fixed. But hey, thanks for your help !
But I still want to try rooting this device
