I hope I don't sound like a prick, but uninstall the programs in that list and I am sure you won't have it. Why would you want to delete your list of installed apps? Also, try AppBrain and FastWebInstall (?, same company) if you haven't. You can make as many lists as you please and delete them with just as much grace. It's pretty much another way of using Play without completely doing so. It's also great because Google's backup and restore isn't perfect.
Perhaps I misunderstood the problem.

This is not only the list of currently installed apps this is the whole device history of installed apps many of them i deleted months ago.

This list depends on with which gmail ID you are logged in. If you login with a different gmail ID, the list will change according to which app you have downloaded using that ID.
So if you wanna hide/delete the list, you need to login with another ID!

Even if you uninstall the programs, the apps will still be in that list since it's a list of your entire account history of installed apps (instead of saying "installed", it will give you the option to install them).

At least I can provide this link from a cursory search:

Sentiment seems to be that we can't as exemplified by the following quote:
"Real pity, so you install crap, you unistall and you have it there forever. That's the policy of Google, you fart and the smell is always with you." -- yomismo (03FEB12)

He says, while he sneakaly downloads your saved market credit card #....
I'm looking for a reason to call Wells Fargo so try me lol. Jk.
And I downloaded it. Thanks.
Working great.
I just backed up my old market with titanium backup in case this one is not working good.
But working good so far.
Thanks for update.
Really needed this PIN code security before purchases.
This new update kills my 3g data again
But works great on wifi

Anyone receiving "!" when downloading anything with the new market?
Didn't know the source of the .apk (no offense OP). So I got it from androidpolice. MD5 match on both files. I've had 2 FC using new market already tho. I like the idea of PIN code for purchase.
It's working great for me! Thanks!
Nice. Works a lot better than my other version.
Thanks.
Working great for me, love the PIN feature. Uninstalled n reinstalled a few apps to make sure everything worked. Very quick.

Why are a handful of my apps that are clearly installed, listed under not installed... then when you click on them, they only say open; so even the market knows they're installed, just not under MY APPS???
Already tried clearing data/chace for Market... no dice. Any Thoughts??
Try Titanium Backup's market fix
Several times now I've opened up the market and it shows only 2 apps in the My Apps section...I then have to clear data for the market app and then reopen and all is fine. Anyone else having this happen? It's not a huge issue, just slightly annoying. I'm running Alien #4.
i'm getting force close on this.
Is this an official release from Google or a modified app. by a developer?
I have version 3.0.27 installed but it does not updated automatically to the new version! why?

Mystery Apps Appearing on Play Store

I've been trying to search but haven't found anything on this issue. A couple of weeks ago I noticed a number of apps that appeared on my All Apps list without me ever even installing them.

The two by martetrut and the casino one. I tried searching my phone for any trace of these apps and found nothing other than their appearance on this list.
Today, I looked at my list and now more mystery apps have appeared, with another app by that martetrut dev.
I downloaded lookout and Norton and ran several scans and they didn't pick up anything.... I'm a little concerned.
Anyone have any idea on what's causing this or had a similar experience? I'd appreciate any help/input.
If it matters, I'm completely stock.

Someone may be using your account to download apps. go to play.google.com on your computer, click on the gear in the upper right corner and go to My Orders & Settings.
The Orders tab can show you when the apps in question were downloaded.
Click on the Settings Tab and look under devices to make sure only your phone is listed.
Unfortunately I don't think there is a way to delete or unauthorize a device, but at least you'll know if someone else is causing those apps to show up or not.
Best thing to do is change your account password.

Yes, this was my first thought. I would guess someone is using your account to download apps on another device.
as other users said, it's probably someone else using your account.
maybe you gave/sold your old android phone to someone without wiping data.
btw, changing your password can be a good solution

What is this notification?

Twice a day I receive this strange notification from Picasa. If I tap on it, nothing happens.
I can't sleep at night with this doubt

Freeze it with TIBU and get some sleep.
You may also try to fix the app by cleaning both data n cache in apps manager.
Cheers

I would do that! but I don't know which application sends this notification! I also tried to search with titanium backup any app the contain the word "picasa" in the name or package name but no luck.
Is there any way to discover which application sends the notification?
The phone has a built in Picasa link (through the MotoCast albums app). Go to settings and then manage accounts. One of the accounts that is set up should be Picasa. It just means that your login info for the Picasa account is incorrect. Either delete the account or put in the correct login info.
Sent from my DROID RAZR Maxx using XDA Premium
I don't have a Picasa account in "manage accounts" - I only have google main account
Try opening up My Gallery (the MotoCast one) and clicking settings and then online connections or online albums. See if that is what is connected to Picasa. I used to get those same errors but for PhotoBucket and then I figured out that that was where they came from.
Sent from my DROID RAZR Maxx using XDA Premium
Yeah, I also tried this but there isnt a Picasa account in My Gallery. I used to have the picasa account linked in My Gallery but I deleted it and then with TiBackup I uninstalled My Gallery, Picasa Authentication and MotoCast stuff. But I still have this notification every night.
Hm, that's very strange. Not sure what's causing it. Sorry I couldn't be of much help.

I'm getting this as well and it is VERY ANNOYING (are you listening, Samsung?)
I can't figure out how to remove, stop, or freeze this garbage. Perhaps someone has some knowledge to share on how to get rid of this?
Glad I'm not the only one having this announce.

You have to manually go to each samsung app and check for updates. Sometimes it's S Health, Samsung hub, etc.
I had that problem when I updated to 4.3. I debloated too many apks. I can't remember if this is the right one for sure, but the only Samsung apk I still have on my sdcard is called SamsungApps_J_Only.apk. You might need to put that one back. I can't guarantee that's the correct one either, but once I replaced something, I was able to update my Samsung apps. It's been a couple months since I went back to 4.2.2.

Hmm. I went into every Samsung related app and none of them had any type of update.
Look in your app draw for one called "Samsung Apps", that's where you have to go and you'll have at least one app in it under purchased, that will be where to update at. If it's not in your app draw, search around here and Google for the "Samsung App .apk". Not sure where I ended up finding it.

uninstalling an app

I want to uninstall words with friends from zynga, here what they say to do
How to remove Zynga games on your Android device:
1. Open Google Android Menu.
2. Go to Settings and select Applications.
3. Click Manage.
4. Select the application you want to remove from the list.
5. Click Uninstall.
where is the google android menu. I can not uninstall when I go to my setting on my phone, no option to uninstall:crying: this fricken app.
Just go to the Play Store, then My apps, find that app...there should be a tab there to uninstall it.

To uninstall from settings, go to "Settings" | "Application manager", which is probably what is meant by "google android menu", find the application, and there will be a button to uninstall.
You can also uninstall all apps from the play store, as 4-2ndtwin pointed out.
I tried that but it only uninstalls the updates not the whole game. I guess I need my phone to be rooted to do this.
^
Did u try to uninstall that app from the Play Store like i suggested ?
