And you thought it made sense to post this in the development forum .....because?
Do you honestly think its ok for any old random crap to be posted in here, if it was allowed thsi forum would be a complete mess. Use correct forum, put "questions" in the hmm maybe the "questions" forum. This forum is for "developments". If you take a look at the other topics here for a second and ask yourself if yours resembles anything like the others the answer will be no.

The only place you should really ask general questions is in Q & A and even then you should search before, as most of them have been answered many times before.

CWM is outdated for you, maybe because you are using an old firmware.
flash CF-ROOT with your corresponding firmware version, then flash a custom rom. all new roms, often comes with CWM and is updated.

The ONLY times you should be posting in dev forum is if its in reply to a topic, You should NOT be creating topics in there, simple!
You want to ask questions do it in the questions forum, how hard is that to grasp???
Think about it, if any n00b was allowed to create a questions topic in dev forum it would turn into a mess and we wouldn't even see all the real dev topics, this is why the Q&A forum was created!

tnx, I tried this few times, few diffrent CF-root versions. After all the only way to do anything was installing the most original ROM (russian region) and after it Root device agin.

I checked all the CF root forum, but problem was still as it was on the beginning. I found one helpful thing Clock Recovery is not going well with installed ROM manager.
I just installed original ROM from Samsung, russian region. And root device again. That's it.
I spent two days looking in google, but no one really knows what this causes.

Post What Where:
General - general technical discussion items, news, anything else that does not fit into the other fora categories.
Q&A (Questions and Answers) - all questions, irrespective of type, get posted in here whether they be theme related, accessory related, technical, etc.
Accessories - any items to do with components and/or accessories relating to your device.
Rom Development - only meant for very advanced technical discussion directly related to ROM development activity and the delivery of actual ROMs and ROM components ONLY. Nothing else goes in here.
Themes & Apps - anything to do directly with the development of themes and/or applications. Nothing else goes in here.
MOD EDIT: BEFORE POSTING ANY THREAD IN THE DEVELOPMENT SECTION, PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING:
If you have developed a ROM, or are working with others to do so, the development forum is somewhere to discuss and share ideas, post useful feedback and logs or crash dumps, and to discuss a common goal developers are trying to achieve.
It is NOT the place to post your question because it gets higher traffic, or because more experienced users frequent it. Doing this just annoys those who are working on the device, and drives them away. Developers don't want to wade through 20 threads of "Help me urgently" to find their threads for porting and fixing camera issues etc. Similarly, if a thread is designated as discussion for developers say, porting a camera fix, please do not post in there asking "When will it be ready?", "Can I flash this yet?" etc. This is both completely disrespectful to those working on the project (you evidently haven't read the important posts in the thread), and also is making it harder for developers to find comments from other developers or testers when required.
Similarly, don't make loads of "Thanks for your work here" posts in an active development thread. It's just as annoying to developers as asking when something will be ready. If a ROM is complete, then go ahead and thank the developer if you wish, but don't go into threads for devs only, and interrupt it to post "thanks". It's basically spamming, and is treated as such.
If you are posting in development, you should have read every sticky and notice there, and should be actively developing or helping in the development of something. Developing isn't installing a ROM, or using a tweak, it's creating a ROM or other hack or tweak. If you haven't read for several days before starting out on XDA, you are likely about to ask something already solved. I registered on XDA when I first wanted to post, and that was to join in a discussion on something. Sure, join up and ask a question, but read the information available in General and Q&A first, as your question will have been asked before. Search is your friend here, become familiar with it.
Regarding when to post in development if you are not actually developing something, there is one occasion where it's acceptable. If you find a leak of a new ROM, which isn't already posted, and you verify it's legitimacy via either running it, or based on the source you obtained it from, then this is assisting in development, and should be posted in development. If you want to ask when a leak will be available use search first, then if not already in discussion, open a thread in general or Q&A.
If you have a problem flashing a ROM, this is NOT related to development. It's up to you to determine if it is specific to a particular ROM, and post useful information in that developer's existing thread for the ROM. If it happens on more than one ROM, and isn't a known issue (remember you should read several times more words than you post), then find out what you are doing wrong. Check guides written by others, try to repeat the problem and see if it happens every time. Something needs to be reproducible to be fixed effectively.
Once you have identified what you need help with go to the device Q&A forum (general if device lacks one), and make a clear, informative thread that explains the issue, and what you have tried doing to fix it. Did you re-download the ROM? Did you ask a friend to flash it for you, to reduce chance of user error? What steps (exactly) did you follow? What errors did you see (exact wording)? Did you double check all the steps? Did you do a wipe or hard reset?
If you make a clear, concise, yet detailed post, you will find help forthcoming, and should get the problem sorted very quickly. If someone suggests you try something, report back on what happened, did it work etc. Then, next time someone has this issue and searches, they will find this and have a verified and tested solution.
So remember... before you start a thread in development, ask yourself what you are developing. If you can't answer, then stop, step away from the post button, and think about where you are posting. Would it be better in General or Q&A, or is some more time with your best friend, search, required?

And it seems the first needs JIT to be installed after. Hey, just one more thing, can I wipe out everything in my SD card through windows? Or I'll eventually get some errors?

I am not sure where busybox is installed but, probably in system and not the Sdcard. Uninstall it and it should not stop you fro wiping everything.
EDIT
Busybox is installed in system/bin. Therefore, it is installed in the internal memory not the SD card.
Thing is BusyBox is needed for xRecovery, if I delete it from the SD (if it's there) I wouldn't be able to install the new ROM.

Removing yellow triangle.

I see that by flashing the stock firmware that Entrophy posted in the dev section will put the phone back to stock removing the triangle. (Phone is being returned soon)
What if I flash the pre rooted stock firmware also offered by entrophy? Will the flash counter detect the root and throw the yellow triangle as well?
Also am I even accurate with my first paragraph? If I flash the totally stock firmware with Odin will my triangle go away?

Yes seriously.
No need to be rude. You contribute a lot to this forum but that doesn't mean you need to be rude and annoyed with other members.
If you look at your 'highlighted' posts from the main general section you can see that you have highlighted my own thread first of all, second of all the FAQ which isn't visibly from the xda app, which is what I use.
Third you can see that I at least read the thread of how to circumvent the flash counter as I mentioned it in the OP. After reading said thread I couldn't come up with an answer myself which is why I reposted.
Do you think I enjoy posting for no reason? I would much rather find the info myself.
Either way thank you for taking the time to set me straight.

Blindly flashing bootloaders willy-nilly is a great way to hardbrick!
As to your latest post - I know I highlighted it. I was pointing out the fact that it was within easy view of not one but TWO locations with your answer.
Your question was answered easily in two existing threads, easily visible. Yet you decided you were so special and important that you had to create an entire new thread for your question (which already averages 3-4 new threads per day when it should average ZERO due to being answered in multiple places, pushing the guide lower down from the first page, making it harder for people to find the answers.
Stickies not being visible from apps is not an excuse.
It IS visible from forum reader apps. Hell, stickies are MORE visible as they get their own tab in the app instead of just an icon next to the thread. I just checked on my phone
Just because you're using a deficient method of accessing these forums because you're too lazy to wait, sit down at a PC, and do some reading doesn't give you the right to clutter them up for people who actually try to do some research

A ROM is not the same as bootloaders.
Screw boot.bin and sbl.bin up and your phone is done, unless you're willing to open it up and flash directly into the motherboard.

[Q] what is Upload Mode ???

hello, i've searched the forums for my problem yet i still need some help
my phone goes into the so called upload mode, or from what i've read [Kernel Panic]

what is this? and how can i get rid of it once and for all or avoid it ??
i'm Using Omega Rom AOKP Version V5
and it happens on most of the roms i use every once in a while
I'll be honest, i'm not clued up on kernel panic & upload mode. i read that it is a fatal error on the operating system just wondered if when you were changing roms, you flashed a different kernel too, or if it just that kernel you've been having trouble with (you can see where i'm going here) have you tried using a different kernel?
Had a read around and it seems that flashing a stock firmware and factory reset should sort this out for you and stop it happening again
Won't take long to reroot and get back to where you are now

Yeah, to be honest a clean start is the best solution to many problems, might seem drastic, but if you are well backed up and sorted then it really doesn't take long. You can spend ages trying to work out what causes a problem, or just be a competent flasher and just accept that when problems do accumulate a clean start is usually the quickest....but that's just my opinion

I completely agree, cant go wrong with a clean stock rom every now and then! Odin scared me at first (SGS2) but after that, i only ever panic if it takes over a minute or so!
Good advice as usual Slaphead20 :good:
[EDIT] Me saying good advice and a thumbs up looks silly when you have nearly 10,000 posts to my 200! LOL

So do u mean a clean Stock rom installation is to install a rom with 3 files including a .pit file ???
or the typical Rom installation???

Just a plain old Odin flashable stock Rom, no reason to use a pit at all...last resort that is! Just get latest for your region and flash, you might need to do a factory reset after, so if you can, back up first including internal sd as a factory reset from stock recovery will wipe that also

I really dunno what should take hours in this guide which is the same as yours http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1552792
Flashing s5830i with Odin v1.85
1.Turn off the phone and put it in Download mode by pressing Power+Volume Up+volume down.
2.Open Odin v1.84.Run as Administrator!.
3.Put the files in Odin and don't touch the settings
4.If it's a one-file firmware put it in PDA section.
If it's multiple put the files in the correct section.
5.Click start and don't touch the phone!Don't turn off computer and don't unplug the phone! It will reboot automatically and the first boot will take some time,so don't panic!
If you have "bricked" your s5830i a.k.a stuck at samsung logo just download Odin and flash PDA.tar form the link.
http://www.4shared.com/file/Ls2CAsHv/PDA.html
Everything you're doing is up to you!I'm not responsible if you don't read! There's a binary counter on s5830i so be careful with flashing!

Im replying to you because you are the biggest piece of ****, and I didn't have my odin pack, that's why I came here, meanwhile you find this useless and you still posting ****.
