But if I root and Flash now my flash counter will go up can you guys hold off on this ROM til we can root and flash with out the counter being effected?
There are ways. I have mine rooted, and have Saurom rom loaded, with my flash counter still saying "no" to custom os.

When you flash through CWM, it shouldn't be increasing your flash counter.

This is a netchip's rom as far as I know.
I flash it yesterday the 20120602 version and it doesn't brick my device at all.
I must say there's something weird with the file in this post cuz mine's weight 120mb.

What am I supposed to do about it? Maybe if he gave more details there could have been more help. For instance, which file was used perhaps? This is Netchips work, not mine and he is a competent dev. I would not have made this thread if I had any idea that it could brick you phone.

It's hard to get exited for a new ICS ROM that will most likely never see another update and has the same issues as the rest.
We all appreciate your work nonetheless, but instead of working in different projects, every developer could work in a team on what we all need the most, kernel 3, if that's even possible.
Unfortunately, I'm not a dev, so it is easy for me to say anything without actual knowledge on how hard it is to come up with a new ROM. The only way I personally can help is with testing.
Again, thank you for the new ROM.

Stock UCLE5 doesnt have the NFC option and since this is basically stock I assume he just left it that way. No idea why he put the NFC screen shots about that in there. I am also curious about this rom. I tryed to compare v17 and this one and there is some nfc files in it but no idea if nfc actually works. Plus the op doesn't seem to be around.

That's what I would have guessed, but it could have also been that some of the apps from sense 5 were ported over. Description just wasn't very clear.
keep an eye on the toggles. I am running Redline Rom until this downloads. But it is very similar to this rom and after about 2 days the toggles would disappear. Hoping this rom does not have same issue. The toggles were super convenient and scrolled just like AOSP.

ya i hear ya getting the newer aosp theme working on xhdpi instead of xxhdpi is gonna be a pain in the A!! lol but its all worth it

Is the new firmware from the ota or is it the patched firmware? Only ask because the patched one seems to have broken allshare cast

There is no knox if you stay on a previous bootloader version and do not OTA.
