Experia Mini Pro Ringing Problem - Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini, Mini Pro, Xperia Pro, A

Hi Guys,
Just wanted to ask your expert opinion on the issue that I am facing with my Experia Mini Pro.
Occassionaly, when I make an outbound call, the other party that I am calling: the phone will ring but on my phone it will not ring and when the other party on the other end would pick-up the phone to answer, i cannot hear him/her. Now, to correct this problem I had to restart or reset the phone and it will turn out ok again. I have flashed the phone twice already using PC Companion and stock firmware version .62.
Based on the information I gave, kindly shed some light on what I need to do. Thank you very much.

It's Xperia.
Do you mean, that while calling out, you don't hear the calling tone?
During the call, you also cannot hear him? Does he/she hear you?

Yes I cannot hear a tone when calling out and the party that I am calling cannot hear me amd I cannot hear him/her also.

Can you receive calls and hear/talk?

[Q] Help!!! Cant receive PHONE CALLS!!!

I am using Sony Xperia Neo L with ported Paranoid CM9 rom with CM9 OC Gov Net kernel. I have used it for a few months until today, I can't receive phone calls but can still make phone calls. When somebody calls me, the phone will just vibrate for less than a second. I can see who is calling me in the call logs. There isn't a screen for me to answer the call: with a call icon which can be pulled left or right. The caller would just hear my neo L's voicemail greeting or like forwarding to another phone ( i know that because the beeping sound is different.) I have checked the forwarding setting already. Plz help!!!!

Do I need to wipe data (reset)??? I don't want to do that because i will loose all my apps and files. BTW, thanks.
you are using panaroid. maybe you messed up with some pixel density in it app. dont change phone app pixel density, dont change its UI to tablet or phablet.
Use phone apk as phone UI and default 160px.
Yep like rajx^^ said try reinstall
The rom n do a full wipe bro
Do you see the notification icon when a call arrives try tapping it.
I had this bug once.
Off topic : Did you really use this ROM for months or am I just seeing things

[Q] Cannot hear people when making or receiving calls?

When I make or receive phone calls on my phone, I cannot hear the other person - however they can hear me. I can hear them when speaker phone is on though. All my settings are normal, and nothing has changed since the last time my phone worked. Would this be a hardware issue? Is there any purpose to factory resetting my phone?
Thanks
Is in call volume turned up?

outgoing calls not ringing

I have noticed that when I place a call, I do not hear any ringing. I see a connecting message in the wailer & then I hear the persons voice when they pick up. Only had the phone about 3 weeks. Not sure if it is new or always done this. Kind of annoying. Any ideas? Thanks.
Pat.

I disabled VOLTE and WIFI calling and got the ringing back. I'm not sure if it was coincidental or not.
Same here. Easy fix just disable VOLTE. Calls still go through, if not but you dont know your connected until you hear the other person talking.

I have both of them off. Still not ringing.
That solved it for me...but I need HD calling so I am just dealing with it for now. I read in another thread the a guy did a complete factory reset and they solved it for them. I personally can not afford to loose my configuration so I haven't tried that method.

After I disabled Volte, I didn't hear any ringing on my first outgoing call, but after that it started ringing again
Only happens to me when I call Verizon numbers.

Don't bother. I tried it a few times and it did no good.. The only thing that worked was to disable the VOLTE. Hopefully we'll get 1 more update on this.. either MM 6.0.1 or Android N .

Hey all, I believe this is actually an issue with the new version of Google search, specifically if you have the in app voice search function enabled.
Go into Google, voice search and disable the in app option. Worked for me. I did not have to change any other settings.
I tried disabling google voice only but it didn't fix it. I disabled Voice Over LTE and WIFI calling and it fixed it.
I was just getting the same thing on my Verizon Samsung S9. Toggled "Advanced calling" (turned it off and then back on agin) and the ringing on outbound calls is back. I like that a lot better as opposed to calling into the abyss. I can hear that the call connected and is progressing.
