The Google Play store is apparently letting me download Google Wallet. It runs but says it hasn't been verified with my carrier and phone plus needs an os upgrade.
Signs of ICS soon?
Btw, i couldn't do this the other day.
That's odd. It says it's incompatible with HTC Amaze. It refuses to allow me to download it.

I actually tried downloading it before... Before the amaze was s-off
It crashes upon startup but these are the errors i get. It's a different error i got when i just installed the apk.
Not available in my Country at all apparently (Canada)

That might fix the first error (not certified with my phone and/or carrier) but it won't with the next. (O.S. Upgrade required.) I''m fairly certain it wants ics.

After seeing people ask for a decent voice guided navigation app, I pulled the Telenav APK from my backups to share. It was posted waaay back in the early Captivate days. It's a free and legit version for basic functionality, which is plenty for navigation. It works the same as the AT&T Navigator app included in the stock phone from AT&T, but this one doesn't want to charge you $10 just for trying out the free stuff. You can upgrade to additional features for $10/month through Telenav, but there really is no need. It works just fine in basic mode.

I use WAZE, and seem to be ranked as 195 in the state. BUT, I tired the navigation, it works ok, but too many loops.
I would be going down a street and all for no reason it says go in this subdivision and loop around and come back out. - of course I was smart enough to see that trick.
Still goona use WAZE because of the other users posting where the cops are hiding.

Installing that one from market now.
Edit: 7.1 installed and working flawless, no issues even traffic update works on free version. 7.1 is quite nice.

Sure, the funny thing is I didn't have to edit anything, the link for 7.1 stated previously directed me to it in the market and allowed me to install.

That's weird, are you rooted? I haven't rooted my note yet. Try erasing your data that was created within the app, by going to applications, manage apps and click on telenav as if you were going to uninstall and click clear data and try opening again.

I am getting the same behavior as btothec as well. I am wondering how you were able to download in the first place godfirst? Normally, we (AT&T users) can't see this app in the AppStore as it is blocked...I found it via the Market.Android.Com site.
And, if you haven't rooted yet, you must have both AT&T Navigator AND Telenav installed at the same time (ex. AT&T Navigator exists on system/app folder)? Are you sure you aren't subscribed to the service (now)?

No Im not subscribed. I cannot find the app due to it being blocked but because of the link to it that was posted earlier I was able to download. Now the number I have from att was ported over from when I had sprint, and my data is still stored with my number from when I had the free service with sprint. I even have the ability to look at my recent destinations which was taken when I was with sprint last summer.
Has anyone gotten Order and chaos v1.1.3 working on any htc devices or the design 4g specifically? i've tried all the tricks i've found in threads for previous versions of the game but it always wants me to update it to 1.1.3 and it wont download because of some "problem" it encounters. So if someone knows what to do or even has the v1.1.3 sd files and a link to them (all 815ish mb worth) i'd be very greatful. i've purchased the app from google play when it was on sale last week and have been fighting with it ever since and am tired of waiting on gameloft to help me. Real dinger is my device is listed as a SUPPORTED device and i still cant get the lastest version to work.....

You could try using market enabler in that case.
I just picked up mine. Coming from a Galaxy Nexus and seeing the Verizon/Google Google Wallet debacle. I was quite surprised to see that Google Wallet is available to download on the Market. Was this enabled for the Note II?

Yeah, it shows up on my razr HD as well. Has for quite a while now. I got excited at first thinking they'd stealth enabled it. Alas. Nope.

I don't think so you can download wallet on razr hd/maxx but I can download it on s4. It hardly makes any difference though

You can. It was my previous device to this S4 (which has about an eigth of the battery of my maxx btw... i was figuring it'd be more like half. grumble). Regardless, it doesn't work on either with the same message.

I had installed it from the website and it was showing up in the play store. They may have fixed it since it didn't work anyway.

hey guys. i have an unbranded (Asian) non-root AMAZE. As you know power and ram usage is not the best. However as there are no updates for this 2.3.4 Androided phone and as I am tired of the old looks of the UI, i would like to at least have a launcher other than sense which will have to be veeeery light and fast and doesnt drain my battery much fast.

Well, htcdev does not have a blob specific to my unbranded factory unlocked phone. So I never was able to complete the first step. Also, all custom ROMs come with minor bugs.

htcdev does not have unbranded amaze on the list. so step 3 is basically impossible. all they have is amaze with other carriers.

ICS is a vastly superior upgrade from GB, however if you don't want to upgrade, then there are several launchers free at the play store.
I've been using Apex and am perfectly happy with it, however others here use other launchers and are perfectly happy with them. Part of my decision was having a launcher that accepts universal-type themes rather than being too proprietary.

I go to play and type in Apex or Apex Launcher and the free launcher is the first thing returned. Maybe google knows me.

I'm getting this error. I am not rooted. I have tried every fix I've seen on google. I even removed the SD card and the problem still persists. The SD card ins't even in the device and I still get the error. One thing I have noticed is my media storage does not have an option to disable. I'm running out of options and can't figure out how to get rid of this error. I am unable to download anything. from files form email, from dropbox, mega and I cannot download any update from the play store. I tried a factory reset and nothing. I know this problem may have something to do with download manager and media storage but I can't get anything to work running android 5.0 please help

Edit: come to find out, the problem is with android 5.0. There is an issue where the download manager and device storage apps aren't syncing up. And the fix is found in.......you guess it.........android 5.1, which this device has never gotten. I know there is a custom rom for android 5.1 floating around. Could anyone just point me in the direction of the custom rom and a guide on rooting this device? I used odin a long time ago when this device was on 4.4 but I'm sure it's different now on 5.0.

I was using that ROM for 6 months with no issues.
Only thing I didn't like was the stock sms app is messed up and you have to use textra. I even tried another sms app like signal and it also didn't work correct.
There is a similar build called Darklord Reborn by mid3vil. The post claims the stock sms app works. However, the link to the file is dead at the moment.
There is also a post called Lots of ROMs 7.1 by NMBNMB that seems promising. I started dabbling into a couple.

Looking these over, it seems like they are all for hlte and not hltespr... Sprint being a CDMA based system may not want to play nice. It seems like Resurection Remix had more luck in this , but even there the OP crossed out the Sprint variant working on this.
I hear Sprint may be merging/bought up soon and so perhaps there may be a change in the bandwidth that will be allowed for us users?
