[AOKP][ROM][PORT] Black Infinitum 0.6.7 for i777 - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II SGH-I777

THIS IS NOT MY THEME AND I TAKE NO CREDIT!!!
ALL CREDIT GOES TO Razer(x)!!!!!
>>>>>>>>>>>>>UPDATE!!! 4/26/12 Actual ROM and separate thread for other themes<<<<<<<<<<<<
I'm merely posting this here in the i777 section to relay my experience with trying to flash it. It works great! Lol. At least using the same build match as the ones by _-xXBilanoidXx-_ at his thread over here: Legit AOKP Themes based on Infinitum Project. Build 33 of AOKP for the i777 works perfectly with no errors with all his colors that I've tried.
Be sure to give mad thanks to Razer(x) ok???
Oh, and here's the link to his website with the downloads, I haven't tested this on CM9, only the latest AOKP build on my ATT Galaxy SII. Good luck!
[LINK] >>>> Infinitum Project <<<<<<<
And here's a link to the original thread in the i9100 forum: Infintum Project XDA Thread
I have ported/converted/whatever the original Black Infinitum ROM based on AOKP Build 32 I believe from the i9100 to our i777. It comes packaged with the 4/25 build of the CM9 kernel and thusly the CWM 5.5 NON TOUCH recovery. Next build I do will probably have either NEAK or Siyah as I like both of those more. It works flawlessly and looks gorgeous with the inverted Gapps that I can't find the link for right now... ha. For now, take this one: 0422 GApps from Goo.im
And here's the MediaFire link for the i777 version of the original Black Infinitum ROM. I'm working on build my own ROM with some different touches, just haven't had the time to figure out what I all want to do.
Anyways, have at it! Black Infinitum (AOKP b32) for i777
Enjoy! And please do post back with your own experiences and any errors you have.

No need for a full wipe for me. I installed gapps then the theme. Upon reboot, gmail wasn't working, but OP mentioned clearing app data. Works like a charm now!

Did you install Gapps and theme in the same session? Just curious if booting it up and letting it maybe try and update affects it. Blacked out Gmail and Calendar apps look freaking legit. Me gusta

nope it's bootlooping for me also.

i was using the 4-4 version also.
EDIT: I found out the problem... do NOT use the b28 version as it does not work.

Yeah.

haha np.
after trying with both versions of the rom it occurred to me that perhaps i should try the old dl

I used this theme on top of the build-31 of aokp posted in dev section. After flashing gapps, flashed this theme. Seems gtalk is removed as when I try to launch gtalk it says app not installed. Anybody else having similar issue?

Try them both maybe and post results. Worst comes to worst you can always go back to stock AOKP.

@Bigwilly
Hmm, Why don't you ask to port his Black Infinitum ROM? I think it would be a good idea!
Btw, Thanks for the instructions.

Actually thought about it and will probably ask I just don't have the time right now. Kinda... just got laid off so I have loads of time, I'm just busy looking for another job. Ha. Also, new baby girl who seems to only need held when I'm trying to work on computers. Lol. I'll look into it if theres enough interest. I personally love the look. I'm running the plain Jane b31 AOKP right now, plan on trying the latest Black Infinitum tomorrow.

From the download link, it looks like the theme is for build 30 of AOKP. If you are referring to Task's AOKP 4/9/2012 release, that is build 31. So you might want to wait till the theme dev upgrades it to build 31 as well.

Looks very good, but I will probably wait until it is on the market (which the post says it will be). Thanks for the heads up.
We're you able to just flash the lock screen, or do I need to take it apart and re sign it?

You don't flash it. Read the instructions. You need methamorph to install it.

Even the flashable zips on the bottom? Because that'd what I tried and it aborted. Is it maybe because I'm using clockwork 3.0.0.5?

Hey Vinny! Good looking out. Yes my lockscreen is applied via metamorph or can be flashed if you use the older zip for RC1. I might have a nightly 7 file too somewhere, but since nightlies move so fast (and because there are so many different CM7 ports) it was hard to keep up hence the metamorph method. If you guys want I can create a zip file for the latest nightly.

[App] LAUNCHER PRO SENSE UI

Just came across this one while I was checking ROMs for my Ideos, you can check the OP here. (Thanks and all the credit goes to Cheez2553)
Decided to try it out on my XT and I must say, after using Go Launcher forever, I love the look! If you want to get the full Sense look just add Beautiful Widgets or something of the like, and BAM! You're on! LOL
Attached are some snaps.
You can download the app here.
Additional sense wallpapers.
**If you're on MZ's CM6, and want a complete Sense experience, you can apply Sileshn's PURE SENSE THEME and you're all set.

[THEME]BLACK EXODUS v4.2 2-27 READ POST#59!

First of this is created by Nitroz who then gave Razer(x) permission to port it. I tried to flash and it would fail. Razer(x) tried for a second to help me get it running but was a nogo. And since I am no dev I couldnt make that work so I took the files and put together this Metamorph. It takes out damn near most of the cyan..still some left. It is a work in progress as I keep playing with it and also am trying to make a black and green version. I am not maintaining or anything but I will put up any decent working versions I can manage. I'm puttin them in dropbox, the smaller file you can just run thru metamorph as usual. The larger file includes the morph as well as the apk's it will mod, in case someone needs them. Hopefully Nitroz will support the Atrix..I've ran this on build 4 and 5, shouldnt be any crazy issues.
Thanks to Nitroz and Razer(x)

clock color is fixed, battery is not the 1% circle anymore its the boring bar. i was using rom toolbox to change it but now i use the miui battery bar app, the better option if u ask me.
**for some reason it causes Gmail not to show and Novalauncher to crash so I edited them out of the control file until it gets straightened out.
v4.2
http://db.tt/8asaP6Eh
causes usb mass storage while phone is on to break. u can still access in recovery. adb works fine regardless. this does color the clock, carrier and date BUT breaks usb..Gmail and noval auncher are fixed, anf there i theming for apex launcher (apex is nice!), install it before flashing this obviously

ICS Theme for SHOstock2 WORKS on 1.3 and 2.0 (and other roms - - BACKUP!)

I decided to try the SHOstock2 theme from the wonderful team of individuals here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1584144
UPDATE: WORKS ON SHOSTOCK2 2.0!!
My main problems with the "theme" is it totally messes with your stock apk files by adding extra AOSP apks or replacing apks. (AOSP MMS, AOSP Calendar...), the weird charging image bug, and the out-of-alignment signal icon while on wi-fi.
After reflashing SHOstock2 v1.1, I decided to just re-jigger this theme to an actual VR theme which will NOT mess with the rom's stock apk files (I love TW Calendar compared to AOSP).
This is just an image swap pseudo-theme which replaces the stock SHOstock2 battery icon and themes the Settings, Frameworks (-res and tw) and SystemUI. It does NOT add or replace apks and may work on other roms than SHOstock2. (I am using it with SHOstock2 v1.3)
I have fixed the charging animation bug and the out of alignment signal icon on wifi. The clock is NOT themed blue. See my screenshot attached.
I want to mention that most of this theme is not my own work but an arrangement of other work I have come across here on XDA.
Download the VR theme here: http://www.mediafire.com/?b97o5ozyy7edi2o
Save the zip on your phone and flash in CWM recovery.
You can replace the dock icons using any of the great icons from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1590114
I do not wish to offend anyone here. I appreciate the thought of the original theme and wish to only make it easier in my eyes without messing with any of the original rom's functions. Thank you for your consideration!
Working fine with Phone-Bricker as well.

ha, ha!!! Yeah...I guess it is a little more CM9 looking ICS than Samsung ICS.
It is basically some image changes and I just flashed it over SHOstock 2 v2.0 and it works just fine. That is the whole purpose of the VR Theme System...cross rom compatibility.
Hopefully I helped some of you get a slight bit more polish in your Sammy roms.
So this does not change the dialer?

[MMS Theme][CM9/AOKP/CM10]Mixer Transparent SMS/MMS with Animation [11/17/12]

Well one of the things I hate most is the ugly white in the MMS.apk..Of all the silly options like weather in pulldown etc thats included in CM9/AOKP I was hoping we could at least get a black background option but I guess its more important to see what temp it is outside or to toggle your swagger on/off.
So if you're tired of the ugly white MMS.apk thats clearly neglected then I have the mod for you. This is a transparent modded MMS.apk that is build off travp624's new Mms.apk which combines the best of cm9 and AOKP.
I hope you enjoy this..Just flash the zip in recovery or manually push the apk.
Thanks Section

I wasnt sure if the flash zip would work not having a 717 to test on..When you pushed though I assume you set correct permission and rebooted?
I've had it tested on as many xhdpi devices I could..All good on n7000 and Galaxy Nexus.

For manually pushing, I added .bak to old Mms.apk file, copied the New Mms.apk file into //system/app/ and then set permissions correctly. Rebooted. No go.
I did the exact same thing, and then set Owner/Group to Root/Root. Rebooted. No go.
Renamed my old [Mms.apk.bak] to [Mms.apk], rebooted, and then tried flashing the zip. No go.

For manually pushing, I added .bak to old Mms.apk file, copied the New Mms.apk file into //system/app/ and then set permissions correctly. Rebooted. No go.
I did the exact same thing, and then set Owner/Group to Root/Root. Rebooted. No go.

Thank you..
I've had really mixed results using any modified apk not built from source..One nightly it works the next it doesnt..Since cm9 became official its been pretty good at working so far.
If one of you could attach your mms.apk from your latest nightly I'll build that one trans and see if it works for you.
