Mod for skipping tracks via volume buttons with options.
Please, do not misunderstand me.
This mod was made for myself by my wish and for MY CURRENT rom (4.0.4).
Updates and good ideas\wishes I'll realize for free.
Porting for other ROMs and maybe older versions - need much time.
This is not my primary work - so this ports can be done by stimulating process by donate.
All abilities of this mod:
0. Can be used in all x2011 line of XPeria.
1. Skip track in player and FM via long press volume buttons.
2. End call via power.
3. Answer call via volume up.
4. Scrennshot key-combination works.
5. Also this file moded power menu in next manner:
--a. add Reboot and Recovery option (with confirm)
--b. if not resources in framework-res.apk - it will NOT add menu item
(needed both string and icon resource).
6. Now with customizable options.
7. You can choose LockScreen type (enjoy).
8. You can take screenshot by Power Menu.
9. You can enable\disable onScreen buttons.

0. ROM must be DEODEXED (if you can see odex files in /system/app - installing mod didn't nothing).
1. reboot and recovery option need to modify (once) file framework.jar (see attach).
2. resources for your icon and text (if you wanna another modification on framework-res) you can see in attach.

Q. How to install ?
A. All files is for CWM - it's a simple update.
A2. Install DeOdex patch (reuploaded) , boot into system, install mod.
Q. What file is what ?
A. Big file (_full) is a complex update (framework-res, framework and policy).
m7Parts (see MY FOLDER) - is my own program with options for mod.
FullScreen Toggles - for enable\disable onScreen buttons (in new version consumed by mod).
Q. Why show reboot and recovery options are set, but they didn't appear?
A. Shutdown dialog created once at system boot. So you need to restart to see changes.

Transparant Simply Clear theme with CRT screen off animation
Hy there, I created a litlle theme for the stock android on the arc.
tested on :
- LT15i
- Android 2.3.3
- .145
Included:
- CRT screen off animation ( thanks to im_iceman )
- Transparant statusbar ( thanks to vegetaleb )
- Transparent notifications background ( thanks to AdamTt )
- Reboot option in power menu ( V2 ) ( thanks to AdamTt )
- Window animation Rudolf
- Batery animation Glowing Crysis
- New font DroidSans ( you can choose not to aply these )
- Blue-White volume and download bar
I also uploaded the files for only the first 3 mods, same instructions
Intructions :
There are two different ways of installing this :
- manual, place the files in the right folder ans set permissions
- Recovery menu, flash the provided zip file trough recovery menu ( unlocked bootloader only )
MANUAL :
Needed : rooted,program like root explorer
1. download the 'manual Transparant Theme V1' file from the downloads part and extract it
2. place the files somewhere on your SD
3. move the font files to system-fonts ( only when you want to use the fonts )
4. move the framework-res.apk to system
5. set permissions to User VV-, Group V--, Others V--
6. move the file to system-framework and replace original, reboot
7. move the SystemUI.apk to system
8. set permissions to User VV-, Group V--, Others V--,
9. move the file to system- app and replace original, reboot
DONE
recovery menu
Needed : unlocked bootloader, CWM from Bin4ry ( recoveryARC.img, see [WIP] Recovery for Arc [Devs invited] Thread )
1. download the 'Transparant Theme V1' zip

yes it will because it is another framework-res.apk but I can try to implement it, for now you can use the systemUI only, this will give you the transparant statusbar and notification background without the rest

However you got me a little curious: Have you tried to make it totally transparent (both statusbar and notification background)?
Of course it would make it hard to read if you have a bright background but for me that uses my own Monochrome (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1129129) I think it would be nice.

Hi,
I meant the semi-transparent background in both cases. However, I tested a little in Paint.net and I don't think it would be a good idea to have the statusbar completely 100% transparent, it's fine as it is.
The notification backgound, I think that could be even more transparent without looking strange? Today it looks a little "steamy windows" but it is certainly better than original.

he guys I'm working on implementing the reboot option but I still advice to use the app from doomlord because there you also have the reboot in fastboot and reboot in recovery menu

- ZIPTHEMER
- Attached file (ring.zip)
- xRecovery
- Optional: Make BACKUPS in case of disaster!
• Instructions

3.Anyway, u will lose Recent apps viewer, screen wakeup and Home function(temporary)
4.But u always can wakeup screen by push Power button

i.In CM Setting>Input setting>ON Volume rocker wake
5.If u re really need Recent apps viewer, u can create OnScreen Home button at status bar

i.In CM setting, scroll down to Tablet tweaks>Choose soft-button>ON Home
ii.Now u have Home icon at ur statusbar & u can wiew recent apps by long pressed it
6.Enable back Home function + Sleep(turn off screen & locked it)

ii.In Spareparts,scroll down to to End button behavior>select Home,then sleep or Go to home if u dont want Sleep function
7.Now ur Home button has Home function again plus u can make it as Sleep button as well

V. Alternative for Radio FM For LeWa-HappyFrog(v1.0.2 &v1.3.0 Updated)
As we all know,the only major bug in LeWa rom for x8 is Radio FM not working.But its doesnt mean we cant have FM for our LeWa-Happyfrog.There is alternative for FM with a 3rd party apps.Yeah, its a Spirit FM.The question is we must have a right ver of the apps & to have it working right,its little bit tricky.So i want to guide ur guys how to do it
1.Download Spirit FM July 14 or Latest Free HERE
2.Install as normal apk & plugged in ur headset
3.Open Spirit FM and go to setting by press setting icon or menu key
4.Go to Debug>Scroll down to Fixed Volume>set to 50>back
5.In Regional Band>set United Stated(more clear sound for me but its may vary for diff. Country)
6.Now the tricky part,In Audio:
i.Set Volume Scale>to 20
ii.Output Mode>Stereo Force
iii.Output Device>Headset
iv.Method>Sony Ericsson2
7.Now u will hear a buzzy sound>back & Exit
8.Open Spirit FM again & search ur channel
9.If u want preset & seek functions and full features,pls support the [email protected] buy a full version
10.Done?Not yet..the switch toggle between headset & Loudspeaker not working?
How to make it working
i.If u want use loudspeaker>exit Spirit FM>pull out ur headset jack>open Spirit FM again
ii.u will see connect headset warning, just ignore it cause that mean u do a right step
iii.Go to setting>Audio>Volume Scale>adjust it.u will hear loudspeaker sound as soon as u touch back key on keyboard>set a vol 20-50 first(u can adjust the vol that really suit u later in main U/I via vol button) cause u will end by damaging ur speaker if you set it too high
iv.plug in ur headset again for better signal
iv.If u want use ur headset,just go to Volume Scale & adjust a volume again
iv.So basicly Volume Scale is ur toggle & Headset jack is the trigger.Pretty tricky,eh?
NOTE
-Better u exit the apps first each time want to switch between headset and loudspeaker
-If u do have losing sound problem, go to Method>switch to Sony Ericsson and switch back to Sony Ericsson2

-If Volume Scale toggle not working for U,without closed Spirit FM(use Home button for fastest way)try toggle it in >Settings>Sound & Vibration>Volume>adjust Media volume
IIV. Enable SD Partition Swap On LeWa-HappyFrog(v1.1-v1.3.0)Only For nAav13(Wont Work & Useless With Alfs)
Important!!!
1.Make a Nandroid backup(CWM) & Copy all important data in ur SD card including CWM backup
Attn:These Step Will Format & Wipe all data in ur SD card
2.Boot to CWM>advance>Partition SD card>Ext size-256>swap size-256( u can choose a smaller size if u want to, just make sure Ext & swap size is the same amount)
3.Wait until its done & Reboot
4.Download LeWa_HappyFrog_Swap_Enabler.zip from attachment & install it via CWM
5.After boot, go to Settings>Performance>Virtual memory>check ON Auto enable swap
6.Reboot & Done
7.Dont forget to copy back all important data to ur SD card
*Like always,if u have communications crash after reboot: boot to CWM>wipe cache & reboot again(this crash is happen sometimes if ur modded ur system files)
According to Shin,Swap can increase a bit of performance for nAav13 & Useless for Alfs.As for me, I Just like to have as many as i can LeWa features in my X8 & shared it with ur guys.

I just found out that in v1.0.2 we can enable it by: Lewa Settings>Accessibility>Cancel on pop up>ON Power button end call
So its nothing to do with a CMPart

Actually I have succeed to integrate Huawei keyboard but I just cant find a option to change layout to phone or compact keypad.Maybe i just got a wrong apk or missing some libs I will try it again tomorrow since i kinda busy today.Meanwhile,why dont ur guys try a HTC keyboard that i provide in OP.Its similar with Huawei & more pretty if u ask me

This is how i searched,
Thread Tools>Show Printable version then 'Show 50 post(s) from this thread on one page', then pressed Ctrl+F and searched with '.com', asumming that there would a link for the zip file, which holds the key to my happiness (refer to OP) but couldn't find any link or zip file. Yes saw lot of custom rom link, but i don't want a ROM.
All I want is three features integrated into the the Stock ROM.
Btw, your Miui Rom 2.3.3 look enticing might try it, but could you direct into the right direction?

The most important thing to remember is don't select yes - disable recovery flash
when selecting reboot system because you have conflicts in gallery or screenshots, then selects "no" or "go back"

I ran into a problem, whatsapp isn't saving media or backups. I think its looking for /storage/sdcard0/external_sd/WhatsApp but there is no external_sd folder. That isn't even a folder, its a link, right? Thats how it used to be on the previous rom i used.
I still have the external_sd link in storage/external_SD, but i need this link in sdcard0, i think. I tried to create it but i can't write to sdcard0!
How can i solve this? I think i restored whatsapp from titanium backup, that could be the problem?
Hi see if the swap memories is made? Look in file manager... If not done reinstall the rom whitout wipes (remember don't select yes disable recovery when you exit the recovery)

It did.
Looks like i fixed it with "fix permissions" in clockworkmod advanced settings. Now i can write to both sdcard0 and external_SD!
Can't download fix camera p765, can you upload to another site? Also mod for status bar, i cant download it..

I had the same problem again today, after a couple of reboots it fixed itself. Could Android be mounting the sdcard as read-only? I tried running chkdsk on windows but it didn't find any errors.

I've flash 3 time and then after installing xposed It start's giving me UI Sistem errors or something like that I've been follow your instructions step by stem on your youtube video But it did't work

I Just Instaled the rom plus the 2 apps of xpossed
The only thing I did diferent of your videos is to keep the G3 Theme but i gues is not the problem
I was so careful of follow step by step your instructions
I have boatloader unlocked I was root everithing as it's expected to be
I flashed with cwm recovery
I don't know what's going wrong
I'm also a Telcel user with a p768g just like you

I have tested this ROM and everything is working fine except camera. I get unexpected force closing error.

@Miguel-rocha can you disable sdcard emulation instead of swapping cards ?

> Unpack those boot.img

> Open init.u2.rc, and do the same thing
> Repack boot.img

> Decompile both of framework
> Replace the original storage-list.xml
> Then recompile
Repack the zip with your new framework and boot.img, then flash it
