Can I get some help - HTC EVO 3D

So I got my replacement from Sprint after bricking my phone by downgrading from s-off..
Now I tried to brick this one and seems like it turned off before I disconected and now I can't boot it up, and the downgrade tool won't detect it, I get a dim blinking red light.
Also when I try to boot up the phone it boots into the bootloader and it says Locked and under it it says security warning, what do I have to do?
Help please :/

Do I just re-do it?

anyone?

Run the ruu.
Check the sticky on how to get back to stock

Yeah.
Or wait. Unlock your phone?
The reason it shows security warning is because you probably flashed something then locked your phone. thats what happens to me after locking my phone.
But now why would you try to downgrade after you bricked your phone. haha

Your right but you don't need to unlock it again. Just run the 2.17 ruu exe through the bootloader and when your phone is hooked to the computer check in your device manager menu ( if you have windows) to make sure you have your drivers. It should say My HTC or adb android.

Correct me if I'm wrong. But if he unlocks his phone it should be able to boot up and not show security warning. Also you need to run ruu while your phone is on fasboot USB if not your phone will just reboot

"1. Go to data menu; enter ##3282# on the dialpad.
2. Click on "Edit Mode" on the menu that appears.
3. Enter your MSL # and hit "OK"
4. Choose "Data Profile" from the listed options.
5. Press your menu button on the phone and select "Restore" from the menu that appears. Then hit "OK.
6. Phone should reboot. Once it's back up, wait for it to start hands-free activation. Once this is complete you should be good as new!"
If that doesn't work just call Sprint and tell them you are getting the Error 16 message and they will get you back going. Happened to me months ago after using revolutionary and the phone call took less than 5 minutes.
Edit: If you don't know your MSL number you can get a free app off the Play Store named MSL Reader that will find it for you.

Your right, if he unlocks it it will allow him back into his ROM. I was just saying it wasn't nessasary to have to unlock again. When I was unrooting my phone to work on the down grade all I did was lock the phone and run the straight stock ruu 2.17 through the fastboot from my PC and every thing cleared up. You just need the drivers installed minus HTC sync

unlocked bootloader and now no radio, quick question bout unlocker

few questions about using the unlocker, whilst using the qsd8250 _semc and qsd8250_setool2,
does the phone have to be in flash mode or just connected to pc via usb with usb debugging enabled??
also im gettin adb server is out of date killing...
*daemon started successfully*
getting that every second line or so, is that normal, also it completes the process up until the part where it reboots the phone, then on the pc it saying getting root rights and nothing happens from there???
any help greatly appreciated
follow the unlock instructions fully, if it worked you should lose the "sony" test that happens just after you power on. If not, look for the BL tool in dev section, this will make life easier.
And close flashtool when you do.

Did you unlock your phone by chance? A in sim unlock to use it on another network? If you did, then you will lose radio signal if it wasn't done with SETOOL.

After unlocking, you need to flash DoomLord's special custom kernel or sony's very own via flashtool. Could be that or simply flash backs stock and retry unlocking. Possibly failed.
well ive managed to get radio working again, had to go bac to 2.1, then a custom 2.2 rom so i could crash system server, then unlock bootloader again, so all is working now, but now i cant root for some reason
mods please close this thread now problem is solved

Unlock Bootloader Process Fails to Unlock Bootloader

Just as the title states...
I have completed the process on the HTCDev site many many times. The process itself works fantastic. Each step responds exactly how they state it should. I submit the token code and get a Bin file. Using fastboot to flash the Bin file results in the phone prompting me to unlock the bootloader. I select yes using the volume up and then hit power. The phone powers off and reboots restoring everything to factory. So it would seem that everything works correctly. I get no error messages during the process. I get nothing but the results that I should be expecting...EXCEPT...
The bootloader remains locked.
I'm beyond frustrated at this point. I've followed every single set of instructions just thinking maybe there's a step missing in one of them. Yet they all perform the same. End result...Bootloader still locked. No idea what is going on. Called HTC Tech Support and they weren't any help at all. Basically they said to leave a comment on the HTCDev site.
Any ideas???
Have you tried flashing anything even though it still says locked? It is a longshot, but there is a chance it is unlocked but just still says locked.

I second that, I had a problem Unlocking my Rezound, I called HTC they said they dont replace phones and to call VZW. I called VZW told them that HTC told me to call for a replacement, they gave me a hard time. I told them as a developer, not being able to unlock my phone is a detrimental to my livelyhood. They sent me a refurb (standard) and I had no problems unlocking it. I posted my saga over in general you can see it here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1416472

Permanent UNLOCK for AT&T Titan I

First I have to say thanks to saubapcai, he had tried it out for my forum.
I have tried and succed.
So here now the solutions:
1. Down the Shipped rom of AT&T with CID 502 in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1334468 (Thanks Football)
2. After flashing the ROM, reenter the PIN CODE to unlock Titan I again.
3. Force update to 8107 by wpcentral.com, sorry I'm just a newbie so i cant give you guy the exact links. So you can google the way to "Force updating your Windows Phone to OS build 8107"
4. If update to 8107 finished, tried to reset and check If it permanent unlock or not. try replace some other carrier sim, GC etc... If it fail, flash ROM in No.1
5. After flash ROM in No.1 and do type the PIN Code, syn live mail, then plug to your PC, but don't let ZUNE sync with your Titan by closing ZUNE
6. Force update again, and this time it SHOULD ok. And when it's all finish. U will permanent UNLOCK your AT&T Titan I.
Our 4rum has 5 Titan I AT&T, and we use it in Viet Nam, so we have to SIM Unlock it, and everytime we restart it, it requires PIN CODE again, and again.
After do this solution, now all 5 Titans are all PERMANENT UNLOCKED without require any PIN CODE again. Give it a shot, and give me some feedback plz!
what are the specs for this? I have a Titan and i can't even unlock it with chevron. do i have to be unlocked with that in order to do any of this?

Here is for someone who want to SIM/PIN UNLOCK to use another carrier lik O2,... NOT UNLOCK to sideload apps
So you were able to take the AT&T Titan and flash a different EU ROM on it? Could you please explain how? I really want Internet sharing to work, I'm not even with AT&T and they are still restricting my smartphone experience.
It works!! You are a God! AND BONUS READ THIS!!!
So much thanks for this! Having to renter an unlock code everytime I reboot was a pain in the a**! I flashed the shipped ATT rom. Then synced livemail. Then plugged into the desktop forced update 8107 and the Titan rebooted without asking for my unlock code. I'm so psyched. Thanks again!!!
Now for the BONUS:
INTERNET SHARING WILL NOW WORK ON ATT BRANDED TITAN WITH OTHER operator SIM!!!
For the first time after installing this hack I can use Internet Sharing with a TMOBILE sim on an att branded Titan!!! Please pass the word and repost on the forums!

Just 1 time flashing and you got it. How lucky you are I have done 3 Titan, 1 just flashed 1 time and OK, 2 other have to flash ROM 2 time
Asking more detail, when u plug to your pc, u didn't let your Titan to sync with ZUNE? And then Force update, or you just lets it Sync then close ZUNE then force update?
Thing about flashing is you can't do a full backup/restore .. but hey it'll entertain for the night wooo gonna try this out

Actually worked!, I did a simple flash and tried it but it didn't work. SO i flashed a second time and this time went with force update to 8107... Cabsender sent the update and installed.. then it restarted and asked for the code.. entered it.. restarted as usual... I have restarted 3 times already its still unlocked!

Ok, i understant a little. My thought is about when we did and not successed and we flash rom second time, maybe we can fool the system itself so that we can force update to 8107. And then by the cab sender it fix the "required code" things or something like that. And we stay permanent unlock
Im a noob so, that just my thought

Maybe it has to do with how the cabsender restarts the phone. Nontheless It brought back some fun memories of flashing phones and succeeding at something

I have the latest zune installed, and follow every step to the letter but still unsuccessful. Can you please tell me what might be the problem or if I'm doing something wrong?
Thanks!

are you running the update fix for your system (64 or 32)???
Cabsender Follder > Tools > 32/64 > UpdateWP.exe
Here is your Saloution works 100%
First you need to update your Bootloader , its very simple
follow the instruction given by HTC them Selfs Here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1641330
This will update your bootloader in a second after the device boot enter your unlock code and your device is permanent unlocked .
now go to back to the force update utility given to you bye WP Central and apply your update as easy as it can get.
thats all
works on my ATT Titan 1 100%

Nothing to worry about. Please read my previous reply to a similar problem. Remember: if the phone does something it is not a brick, and since it is Android it can be fixed. So cheer up!!!
Are you working off the latest Jewel RUU here:

mobile network not working

Can anyone help with this?
Rooted my HTC Rezound by unlocking the bootloader according to the htc developer site, then flashed it with the Amon Ra rezound recovery image, then installed the su & superuser options from the recovery menu. (I can't link to the instructions as i'm a newbie).
Kernel Version:
3.0.16=gd0049f1
[email protected] #1
SMP PREEMPT
Baseband Version:
1.22.10.0421r, 1.22.10.0424r
Everything seems to be working except my mobile network takes forever to turn on. Once it finishes, my 4G LTE indicator comes up, but when I try to go out on the internet it times out, or I get the network connection not found message, or I get "a network error occured" message. Txts, email, and talk seem to be working.
I have my back cover on, and I've reseated the SIM card and put the cover back on.
Any ideas?
Also, I'm not sure if this is related, but for the first few hours or so after I rooted it, I got the message "Unfortunately, the process com.android.phone has stopped." That was yesterday and I haven't seen the message since, even after rebooting multiple times.
Ok sense you know how to unlock this will be easy for you.let's get you on the latest radios. First your gonna need to relock your bootloader connect your phone to your comp while in fastboot/hboot pull up a command prompt on your comp AMD type the following hitting enter at the end of each line:
cd c:/folder (mine is cd c:/android)[enter]
fastboot devices [enter]
fastboot oem lock [enter]
That will then relock your bootloader. After your done with that
download this. http://www.androidpolice.com/2012/0...ull-ruu-build-4-03-605-2-for-the-htc-rezound/ rename it to PH98IMG then put it on Your sd..
Then boot your phone to hboot it'll find the file automatically and start loading the update. It'll start and then screen will go black for about 20 sec then start up again, this is ok it updates tje hboot first. This will ensure your on the latest radios and hboot.. after you run the update which will take about 15min, unlock again, (same commands and same Unlock_code.bin you used before) then flash amonRa again, then dl this put it on your sd and flash it in recovery it'll give you root access on the stock Rom https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B0ZJtM40GdJ0TE03UVNIQ0Z2ekU/edit click
