I hope that thanks to your work we can have ICS installed soon in our Wave S8500.
We just sent you a little donation of 3€.
Thanks and best wishes from Spain.

The Wave 3 has diffrent hardware.
someone have to write new treiber etc.
sometimes if the wave 1/2 port is ready someone will do it
but i don't think so
sry for my bad english

i only have one request bro, just don't forget to include the north american radio. Then I will happily donate

Lol mike, pc burned again? If i remember good your pc burn out like 1x in 20-30 day in last year. You people should chack other mike post, topic, rom fedback, project... before donating to him.

Well, this sckeptcism was the same when Oleg first showed up his Android Port for Wave.
After all this time, I think this kind of development is tottally possible to be achieved, as we can see the actual status of Alpha Android already available for testing.
If this inniciative can give a new push to this effort (bring Android to Waves), once the project is being considered Dead, I think everyone that already put some knowledge on it could at least give it a chance....
see ya.

Look how works ics on wave at this moment

is it fake or legit? because earlier a guy did the same thing..

This time, though it's also slighty related to bada-world.pl (the unfamous swindlers, creators of "Androbada" fake) it's real platform porting project.

Now this just came up on time
I really, really love some of the things in this phone. But bada was definitely never going to be one.
I was about to sell the phone (like 15 minutes from doing so) but you just came up on time.
Best of lucks with the project and thanks for keeping this awesome piece of software alive.

Samsung Wave II
If you geniuses will get this stuff to work on my samsung wave 2 i will happily donate even one thousand pounds. (ok i exaggerated)

Hi people, sorry my question but i dont talk very good the english... and follow the thread its very hard for me...
whats the progresion for the S8530? thankssssss

wave-android-donatations
I believe that "it is not imposible to port ics or gb to wave devices", it may be hard!
and android project on wave devices continues about one year, but all I see is useless-slow-crashing bada on my wave II.
I believe in developers, they can port android to wave devices
most of wave users waiting for a port and they are ready to donatate for the projects,
but the point is that; get a working android realise first.
there is a big pontantial of donatations but after all of the disapointings the devs shouldn't expect for lots of donatations.
no honey no money....
best regards.

The progress is the nearly the same on S8530 than on S8500 as only screen drivers are different. The others are the same.
Traducción en español : El desarrollo es casi el mismo para el S8530 y el S8500 porque solo los drivers de la pantella son differentes. Los otros son los mismos. Pardon, no hablo muy bien español...

I would really love to see ICS running on waves, but after watching the video of the Wave running ICS I am not so sure... controlling the screen is very hard, and I don't really want a firmware that makes my life harder than it already is on the buggy Bada 2.0 beta firmware that I flashed.

It was just a demonstration that it works It will be the same as the current 2.2 (or the Bada) when it will be ready What you saw was that the screen now works in pointer input mode instead of native touchscreen mode, it will need a driver modification "only".

I have a S8530.I'm so happy to hear you about the development on bada,I have just saw your video run ICS,,i think you may use the GT540 for a long time so the way you tourch the screen maybe wrong, you shoud use your finger cushion not nail..it looks so hard to controll. wait for your success.

[INFO] X10 mini Digitizer T1021A and other dualtouch enabled phones that use it

[Open topic discussion]
Greetings !
Hows it going everyone
well I'm new to this fantastic forum that I find extremely helpful specially with the asset of the pro Developers that the forum Managed to gather at the same place
well it happens that I was surfing around trying to find any leads to figure out if the X10 Mini digitizer T1021A is Dual-touch capable or not.
Actually I found a couple of phones that uses the same Controller "T1021A" , and the most interesting one is the Blackberry Torch 9800.
Although the phone runes a BlackBerry OS6 " not an Android" but its fully Dualtouch enabled .
here are some info about the cell
http://www.digitaltrends.com/mobile/blackberry-torch-9800-everything-you-need-to-know/
here you can check out a video review of the phone
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xHnW7Dt1bcIand
and here you can take a look at the Blackberry Torch 9800 teardown
http://www.ubmtechinsights.com/repo...tive-analysis/blackberry-torch-9800/teardown/
they stated at the bottom of the page that the phone has a Clearpad T1021A controller which raises some hopes again that the X10 Mini might be able to have Dualtouch functionality up if we could manage to alter the digitizer driver , I dont claim that I possess any knowledge about firmwares and drivers development , but I believe that if its possible to extract the driver from device which I believe that its coded in C language we could be able to modify it to work for us or if we can manage to extract the driver from another device using the same chip and has Dualtouch enabled , as I've heard that Synaptics agreed to share the Synaptics RMI4 drivers with the Android SDK but I could not find any , seems like they've removed it temporary for some reasons.
I've found another phone that has the same chip T1021A , its the Nokia N8
Here you can see that the phone supports Dualtouch .... this is an Assassin's creed gameplay
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aivlOZs2Ez0
here you can clearly see that the phone has a T1021A chip "Step 10 3rd picture"
http://www.ifixit.com/Teardown/Nokia-N8-Teardown/3641/2
Another phone is Nexus One " no need to represent the phone thought "
here you can see a teardown of the device seems like the one possess a similar controller T1007A
http://www.ifixit.com/Teardown/Nexus-One-Teardown/1654/2
here you can find a full technical article about the Nexus One it indicate that the Nexus one has the same Digitizer as the X10 mini Clearpad2000 , sounds like the T1021A is just a microcontroller that controls the way the digitizer behaves and the T1021A thingy does not mean a ClearPad 1021 as some presumed
http://www.edn.com/file/25845-The_Nexus_One_Google_hits_a_smartphone_home_run_PDF.pdf?force=true
looking forward to read your replies and suggestion about the matter so maybe we could come up with something.
Are you completely sure that the Torch is able to recognize 2 touch points independently and somewhat accurately instead of just supporting dual-touch gestures like pinch-in/out and rotate?

well , I don't own the phone to confirm it , but after what I saw in reviews about the cell , it seems that its the first Multitouch not only dualtouch BlackBerry that uses the BlackBerry OS 6.
it would be nice if we only could manage to find someone who could confirm it
a datasheet woud be nescesary. mabye you could mail synaptics for more info but don't think they give much away, this things are normally not open source. it would be tons of work and mabye noth wort it.

I believe the Kin Two only supports dual touch gestures, like pinch, rotate and so on.
cant we just take the legend driver from the legend kernels and just snap it into our new custom kernels without any modifications ?! same screen res and same digitizer so i guess it wouldn't require lots of work ! thanks

nokia n8 doesn't support real dualtouch!! only gestures and pinch to zoom
It's easy to assume that the Nokia N8 has got dualtouch, but in fact it's got what some would call "software emulated dualtouch" which means dualtouch behavior on a singletouch only digitizer.

Android Development on Wave 525

Hello,
I am a user of Wave 525 and we are working on a mod called Melior for it.Its first version is going to release within a week but I have a different plan for future.Seeing Galaxy Y running some crazy cool games,I thought if my Wave could also do such things. The problem is that our community doesn't have experts who can port android. My team contains some mid level devs and we are trying to port android but the problem is we don't know what we should do to begin with the project.
I want some experts to help and guide us in the way of porting android. We would really appreciate any type of help from this community..Wave 525's processor speed is unknown till now but it is expected to be around 350-500MHz,some sources claim 500 and some claim 312 etc.Its internal memory is 283MB.All the specs of the phone is more than many android devices like Spice MI270 etc.
Please help us in this project and guide us the way that we should follow..
Regards,
Centurian
Yes pls wrk with us...
I have a wave 5253 as my secondary phone. And would gladly test anything on it.. Hope we have an update soon.

Best budget android phone with developement

Hello,
I'm relatively new to Android, I've been through 2 devices in the past 2 year (Samsung Galaxy Europa and ZTE Crescent) and the development for my Crescent has started to die (Due to it being armv6 and Qualcomm not releasing what we need to progress ROMs) so I was wondering what the best phone (under £150) with good development would be?
It needs to be armv7 and have a decent size screen (My Crescent is HDPI 3.5" with a 480x800 resolution and it a nice size so that's a guideline)
Any ideas? Is the Ascend G300 an armv7 device because I hear nothing but good things about it.
Thanks
Yep i'm looking for the same, and i found dis::
www zopomobileshop * com
The phone are cheapy and they can be flashed. You can root them at the buying...
i think the sony ericsson xperia mini pro is a good choice
it has an armv7 1ghz cpu but the screen size is only 3"
it costs here in germany only 110€ (as far as i know)
---Signature---
Don't be afraid to hit the thanks button. It doesn't bite. lol
Sorry for my bad englisch

GREAT Chinese clones, will it root ?

I could get my hand on these 2 devices and even cheaper than offered here (got friend in china)
http://android-sale.com/hdc-galaxy-s4.html
http://android-sale.com/goophone-n2...-mt6589-8mp-camera-1gb-ram-android-phone.html
they both have MT6589 CPU and I would grab them easily if only ONE person from this goddamn HDC would speak proper English.
what would I want:
1. root
2. firmware flash in case of shi*
3. CWM maybe ..
I have seen that many devices with MTK have been rooted, specially those Galaxy S3 clones, even 5-6 different kinds
If anyone could at least point me in right direction, that would be nice, cause I could grab these phones for less than 140$ a piece.
thank you all in advance.
don't worry for root and firmwares (it is just maybe harder to find them in another forum/sites)
for CWM i don't know , maybe , but chances are big here too
kod kineze ima sve
Yeah, I rushed for no reason - ZOPO leader ZP900 is the phone to take. ZP900 already has community support, is not a clone (almost original design) , and people are giving positive feedback. these 2 are clones, and being that, they would never "live" long enough for people to take interest in them. And on top of that, UMI X2 is about to come out
Umi seems to take a life to be released!!

Nougat for Leeco Le Max 2

Is any developer going to do a ROM based on Android Nougat. Now when the Nougat 7.0 AOSP is released..
Skickat från min Le X820 via Tapatalk
Quite a few developers have abandoned their development for Le Max 2 as it is such an unpopular phone. They have moved on to One Plus 3.
Even I am willing to sell off my Le Max 2 because the company is such a b**** to deal with when it comes to support.
One Plus 3 not having Quick Charge based charging is currently holding me back. I am heavily invested in QC 3.0 chargers. All will go to waste if I get One Plus 3. It also has screen quality and calibration issues. Colors appear to be neon like.
We might not even get official Android Nougat 7 for our Le Max 2 as the company has not yet provided Android Marshmallow 6 to Le Max 1 as of today.
Who in their right minds will buy their products? God save this company.

Hi,
It's correct that the OnePlus 3 is more popular.
But owning it, I really would advise NOT TO BUY IT ! It's only plus over the LeEco is the community support...
I would recommend the Axon 7... I've seen it. It's really nice. But it's not available as for now here in Europe.
Besides, Google will announce their own devices anytime soon now. I'd wait for those ones to see how they are price wise.
I also do not understand why those devs that were working on the LeEco never published sources... That would allow other devs to continue their work, and maybe give this device the popularity it deserves.
Regards.

Hi,
Not really sure to understand what you mean...
Anyways : yes, ffboy2009, which has delivered a lot of the ROMs, and especially CM13, has announced that the latest CM13 build he posted would be the last development on this device.
Unfortunately, he seems to be the only one to have had access to LeEco kernel sources and he hasn't released sources so unless anyone with the sources can come up, we're stuck with Android MM.
Regards.

If you browse ydss.cn with google translate, you get hilarious translations like "I support the landlord for his landlording, pour some chopsticks over my tea"

Hello, WTF is Roma?
LeEco has released kernel source code for this device. MM-based Mokee firmware daily builds are available. Cm14 is in its early stages of development and is not available for many devices. However, there are no problems which can prevent CM or other AOSP nougat based ROM from not being released for this phone.
I also have this question. I just bought the Le Max 2 (maybe regrettably) and was hoping to find at least a rom with 7.0 in it. I need to get rid of EUI ASAP.
Try Mokee rom. Google it and you will find a download page. Soon there will be a nougat based CM14
we were close to a nougat rom. @ffboy2009 have a working rom a few days ago. just the camera wasnt working. but it seems that some people are more concernerd with secondary issues that could be resolved via private messages that actually help. the same people that only write in le max foruns to create problems, but to help resolve them, not one single post. hope @ffboy2009 can post is rom soon so other people like the great dev @STEVE_MARS can help solve the bugs
@ffboy2009 can you please post the ROM? Thanks
