"Browser not responding" --- ASUS PLEASE FIX - Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime

Thread started to hopefully draw Asus' attention to one of the most annoying issues on the Prime, the "Browser not responding" error that seems to occur on almost any browser. I have turned flash to "on demand" which has helped a bit, but honestly, getting this message every 5-10 minutes is really annoying.

OMG this issue is sooo ANNOYING. I love my prime, but the constant pauses make me embarrased to show it to anyone. It looks a lot like hardware fault though, my galaxy s had the same issue and it was due to very slow flash writes(internal hardware, not adobe flash). It had an sd card soldered to the board for its internal memory and bascially any write would block the whole system for a second or two. It was fixed by some internal kernel changes and moving to ext4.

As noted in several other threads...there is a workaround.
In the browser, from the menu -> Settings -> Advanced -> Enable Plug-ins
Make sure it's set to "On demand"
Since changing this setting things for me have been pretty smooth.

I didn't have to do the On demand for the Galaxy S2 as it was perfectly find with it plugs ins on all the time.

this is annoying..i try not to be whiner being nothing is perfect..but damn the browswer...workaround doesnt do anything either...i've tried all the other browsers and they're no better...hoping it gets fixed

It's sad that my HTC Thunderbolt, single core @ 1.4 ghz, can browse full desktop websites with flash enabled without slow down compared to TFP.

I have tried the 'workaround' and can confirm that is not a true workaround. While it does seem to slightly reduce the number of occurrences it does not eliminate the annoying popup altogether. The OP also stated that he has tried this. Who knows, maybe this is something that varies from one device to the next.

Sometimes I wonder if its the bad i/o in combination with the Plus-1 of Nvidia's 4-Plus-1 that makes the browser tank. The slow i/o causes the Plus-1 to come into effect and the transfers slow even more due to reduce cpu speeds.

Factory reset solved this issue for me....Browser would hang and get popup...after reset stock browser loads pages with no hangs. Use Titanium Backup data only!

This happens in a couple applications for me. The browser (doesn't matter which one I use) and Pulse both have this problem. Both constantly give me the "not responding - wait or close" message. This is either a wifi related issue or an overworked ninja core, I don't know which.
I have faith that Asus will fix this with software eventually - along with the "process.android.media has stopped." I just wish they'd get to it a bit faster.

This is good info. I was trying to hold out on rooting mine but if its gonna fix this browser issue I'm just about willing. I didnt get the part about using TB "only"..what does that mean ??

A lot of the evidence shows that it's not a wifi or processor issue -- more likely a memory I/O issue with the writes/reads to memory.
It can happen on my apps without any internet use or wifi and it happens even when I overclock the CPU.

It means when restoring stuff after a hard reset, don't restore the entire app... reinstall the app as normal and then only restore data... the thinking is that a unclean install will reintroduce problems into the OS.

Chiming in just to say
1. I get this error message, often
2. it has gotten worse with the last update
3. there is also a lot of lag in typing as well. Sometimes I can type a word before it shows up and then all of the sudden the browser catches up

I always did a factory reset after a firmware upgrade and manually redownloaded my apps from the play store. The unit was set not to restore any settings stored on google's servers.
Its as clean as it could be but the browser is what it is.
I am thinking of taking a big loss on the unit and switching to the Galaxy note 10.1 if those Exynos 4412 rumors come true.

hmmm, this must be device specific, after resetting mine, wiping, and installing
I very rarely get browser lag with a good wifi connection

"Browser not responding" is not my only issue with the browser. It's laggy when scrolling, and it also use very long time to load websites. Anyone else who has the same issues?

Factory reset cut it down for me but only after i changed plug in to "on demand" that it got rid of it. Maybe the combination of both did the trick.
Edit: placebo. Just happened again. Replicated by going to www.engadget.com full site and as its loading i tried scrolling a few times and the browser locked up. Got the wait pop up afterwards. This is plugin set to on demand.

Never ever once ever had any lag or browser not responding messages. You guys must be doing something wrong.
I'm on stock but rooted 9.4.2.21
btw try quick ics browser off the market. It's like stock on steroids.

Have never had this issue with browser. Plenty of times with other apps though

ICS - www browser - freezes... We have seen it before...

Did you notice that ICS browser likes to freeze? It is the same story as it was on Honeycomb on TF101.
Generally I try to type an address thet hit enter. The browser just pretends to be loading a www but it seems to do nothing.
I have noticed that. I have been getting force close after force close with this. The weird thing is that this worked great for the first day and then the second day it just has been fc crazy on me.
I guess I am getting the same thing.....
BROWSER IS NOT RESPONDING.
Then it asks
WAIT or CANCEL
The first night after the update, the thing was awesome. Now it seems to stutter and NOT RESPOND every so often.
Also I have to wait for the whole page to load before I can scroll. And sometimes it will load 75% of the page and then take like a minute for the rest.
For example....xda prime - show us your homescreen- that webpage was kicking my primes ass...lol
Btw, wasn't there settings in debug that we can change or turn on. Type About:debug into address bar and then go to settings and click on debug. Then u can change some if the rendering options. Is this a good idea, and what settings should be changed.
Still love my prime, just some little glitches that can be annoying at times.

I have this same problem. Usually when the "Wait or Close" option comes up, the page is already loaded. Annoying but useful,
My browser also does the same thing, sometimes hanging and giving me the 'Not responding' dialogue just as it starts responding again. This happens on my prime under HC and is still exactly the same after updating to ICS. I never have to force close the browser due to it, but the freezing is slightly annoying.
None of this never happens in Opera Mobile. Another good alternative browser better than stock is ICS+ browser. the maker of thumb keyboard made it. He has a thread in themes and apps section. its a free app and getting real good reviews on it now. plus plays flash and everything with no problems.
But there is a problem with flash on opera?
When I have issues just force stop it clear cookies and history plus cache... Fresh start It is a pain but I LOVE ICS's BROWSER!

Dolphin HD locks up too
Any browsers that don't give problems? I saw one post for Opera that was good any others?
Maxathon Browser for Tablets is a pretty nice browser
I have the same problem but it did the same thing more with Honeycomb so ICS was an improvement. It runs faster and better, but there is still some stalls when loading sometimes. However, in Honeycomb this would give me Wait/Force Close messages all the time.
I have the same problem. Noticed it after the latest firmware fix (19th?). Don't recall seeing this happen before.
I don't think its the browser, I think its ICS. I've tried 5 different browsers and they have all had the same issues.
I think it is ICS too. Makes me wondering if Asus is testing anything they release pertaining to the prime? Or if they did, hope they are testing it out on random primes coming out of the assembly line for any abnormality before releasin it. Or maybe they are because we are the beta testers.
I have not experienced freezing, but i get random keyboard lag, where i type an url, and it takes 1 second to register the keyboard presses on the url bar then they print at one pop
I blame the delay on the stock browser's ability to process scripts.
This didn't start till the last update. It was working great before.
If there is one thing I hate about this is that there aren't any good browser on Android. Can't import bookmarks, can't handle flash well, no ad-block adons.
I just use remote desktop so I can use Firefox on Windows. Only real solution.
Hope they figure it out soon, as it is annoying to say the least. I believe it is worse after the latest firmware upgrade also...........
I've noticed the waits a ton since ICS. Never had a problem with Gingerbread. It's quite annoying and my wife thought the same.

Big peeve of mine, too... no ad-block addons. I thought dolphin had one, but I couldn't find it after I wiped my phone. Haven't looked for it since.
Remote desktop is a poor solution though. I can't find any decent VNC clients aside from AndroidVNC, but that doesn't let you pop up the keyboard on a tablet like you can on a phone.

ICS Browser temporarily freezes loading pages

Anyone else experiencing this?
On the stock ICS browser, I'll load up a page and while it loads, I cannot scroll until it is nearly done loading... this sometimes takes up a few seconds but it grinds the tablet itself to a halt until it's done.
It affects other apps such as Pulse as well. Did Google/Asus/Nvidia change the way that the browser loads? For example, one could move around freely in the browser and would get a checkerboard pattern and it loaded that section on the fly.
*Problem does not seem to affect Opera...but that has it's own set of issues...

I am having the same problem with my stock browser.
Yup. Only happens in stock ICS browser
I've noticed that it also happens in the ICS+ browser (not surprising) but doesn't seem to happen at all in Opera.
Also, if I set Pulse to use Opera as its rendering engine..it seems to work fine.
It's a VERY annoying issue though since I prefer the stock browser other than that issue. If I press anything while the stock browser is in that open state I get the message:
"Browser is not responding. Would you like to close it?"
With the options of "Wait" and "Ok"
I haven't tried Dolphin yet but since it basically seems to be a skin for the stock browser, I would imagine that it would happen there as well.
Hopefully Asus will see this and fix in an upcoming update.
**Also, I tested the Stock browser on the Galaxy Nexus and it did NOT have this issue. I worked wonderfully**

I have the same issue. I think it is in all stock Android browsers. My Viewsonic G-Tab running Vegan-tab Gingerbread edition did exactly the same thing. I think there is some javascript or flash that is trying to load in the background of the page and is timing out. Usually, if I hit Wait on the pop-up dialog, it instantly frees up. Annoying, but normal on flash-heavy pages. You kind of get used to it after a while.
Anyway, it isn't isolated to ICS, the Prime or Asus for that matter. Not sure why the Nexus would be different, except that maybe it is seen as a 'phone' and the Prime is seen as a 'tablet' or 'desktop' in the user agent string.

I never experienced it on the original Transformer running stock Honeycomb or my old Archos 70 running Froyo. While they did sometimes stutter through the pages, they never literally froze my tablet in place for 5 seconds while loading up a page. At worst I would get the checkerboard pattern as things loaded up or the browser would simply force close.
With 4 cores, I'm surprised that a browser could even have this type of effect. I did try enabling the force cpu usage in development options to see if anything made sense to me but unfortunately it made 0 sense to me. Hopefully someone a lot smarter than me can figure it out.
I am having the same exact issues. Any fixes?

Same issue here. Hope they fix it soon. Also my keyboard stops responding in the browser a lot, particularly in google predictive searching.

I've noticed it happens when the browser tries to load something at the same time another app is loading something.
Has there been a permanent fix determined yet?
I get this a lot, and while the cache/data deletion trick works for a while, within about 2 or 3 hours of use, the problem comes back...

Those who are having stock browser problems--are you experiencing this?

like some of the people here, my stock browser will hang up and be unresponsive on a regular basis. Sometimes a force close helps, but sometimes, when I look in the Asus Task Manager, or if I go to Settings> Apps > select "Running Apps", the browser doesn't show up, as if it's not even considered running. I usually have to select the app itself from settings > apps and then force close it.
Anyone else find it strange that the device doesn't even show the app as "running"? I don't know what to make of this, but perhaps someone else here does.
BTW, I did try Gary's Key's experimental fix, and got rid of Chrome and flash, rebooted, and then reinstalled Flash, but I'm still having the same problem.

Ya, uninstalling Chrome and Flash didn't work for me either. I want to say that the browser hanging issue has been a problem with mine ever since I got it, but I honestly can't remember for sure. Hopefully this is something that is fixed soon as the browser is probably the most used thing on a tablet, so it is quite an annoying thing to have to deal with.
As far as the browser not showing up in the Running Apps list, I know I have seen the same thing with other apps as well. I'm not sure off the top of my head which Apps they were but I know in the past I have tried to go to the Running Apps list to try and force close an app only to find that it wasn't listed. I had to switch to the All Apps view and found the app that I wanted to kill that way.

Have you tried tapping "Show Cached Processes" in the top-right corner? Android apps might appear to be "running" but are in fact suspended and cached ready to be instantly restored provided that the RAM being used to cache them isn't needed for other purposes.
I havent looked to see if the browser shows up in apps running.....
BUT BY GOD FIX THE BROWSER.....OH THE HUMANITY!!!
I may have 10 apps intalled, stupid ones. Even before I installed ANY apps I would get the "browser not responding...wait/cancel...."
It seems to have gotten worse with the latest updates. Now I get LOCKUPS like others are talking about. Resets havent helped.
Dont know, but this **** is getting old!
EDIT: Why the hell do I have to go thru all these apps, resets, clear caches etc.....the browser should, well just freaking work.
I've noticed more and more browser issues lately. Like playing a game on Facebook.... forget it. Then I get the dreaded wait box. Why can't Google make a browser that actually works?
Do you have plugins set to "always on" or "on demand" in the stock browser? I found that setting them to on demand stops all that. I think it's the flash plugin and the way sites are using it that's causing all the problems.

I get problems with the stock browser with them on "on demand". "Always on" would slow things down too much to leave on anyway.
I had these problems since the Prime's inception.
I really like to see an Internet Explorer for Android. That's how bad the current batch of Android browsers have sucked so bad. I have to turn to IE for hope.

I realize the quasi-joking, but what a horrid comment.
I'm sorry, but I feel that Opera Mini generally does a better job than IE ever thought of: then there's Opera Mobile, it's the only one I'll consider for my phone. ICS Browser+ does a good job of showing you what the stock browser could be. MaxthonPad handles and looks pretty well, I don't personally use gestures and the new tab button is kind of in a bad place IMO.
Anyway, nothing I've tried has remedied the stock browser, and I hadn't noticed it missing in Running Apps, but it's not often that I look there or force close anything.
Both my ICS phone and my TFP as well as my friend complaining about it on his ICS phone are all unstable. Granted it has yet to really annoy me but I think its Android not the TPF. This is my opinion YMMV and it could be the ASUS fault in some way.

Like i said your mileage may vary. Three cases on my end is making me think its Android its self. You haven't seen the issue on your end so it points to the Prime. Different cases and different perspectives. Then again the Galaxy Nexus is also ICS Native so maybe that could be part of the problem I don't pretend to have that answer.

Don't blame Google. Blame Asus. I've had a GSM Galaxy Nexus since launch, and the browser works flawlessly - no hangs, no unresponsiveness. This is all Asus.
Speaking of stock browser problems, anyone else notice anything like this? Some kind of malicious exploit in a browser's cache or something-other, apparently even an unrooted user got the issue so I just find it really interesting since that rules out changes to the hosts file.

Exactly!! If anyone remembers awhile back I was bragging on how the galaxy nexus running ICS put the iPhone 4s browser to shame & that was with flash running!!
I said once Asus got ICS it would blow Apple away. Well Asus screwed that up big time!
Guys, could someone who knows what he's doing change vm heap size to 128 or even lower and try then? I've done a bit of research and 256 seems way to high.
One thing for sure, its not browsers, chrome or flash fault.

my device is getting worse somehow

Had mine since christmas. I have accepted the wifi and GPS issues. Also the sdcard popping out. No other real issues
Now I'm getting a few deal breaker issues out of nowhere!
1. Browser crashes at least 1 time for every hour of surfing. Ill be watching view and standard surfing and all of a sudden the browser closes and leaves me on home screen. This is not talking about the constant "not responding" alerts. I need flash so I use this browser.
2. Can't use gmail! Its very sporadic but basically ill try to open an email and it becomes non responsive and eventually either closes or just goes black screen. I've read this is common? How can it be?
Those are the only 2 things I do on my device. Surf videos and check emails.
Any known solutions I may have missed? Any help much appreciated.

Secondly your cache might be full : try one of two things - download and app called cache cleaner and use it or cold boot your Prime which essentially does the same thing

I personally prefer either chrome or Opera.
Opera seems to be the fastest with the least issues, however the it doesn't feel as smooth as stock or chrome. (smooth as in scrolling and such, not the loading speed, etc)
GMail was just updated today that might help, version is 4.0.5

Thanks I have 490mb cache which seems like a lot since I rarely use my device. Is that amount normal? Ill try cleaning it now thank you

Glad to help. I don't know if that's high or not but if its slowing down then it might be. What I normally do is take the widget from that cache cleaning app and put it on one of my screens and every so often just tap it and cleans the cache.

I use stock browser for surfing my vids or anything flash related, I use Chrome for everything else such as surfing forums, etc.
BTW i read the post above wrong i went looking for a device update and didnt see one. Ill check for an update to the gmail app when i get home.
I'm in the same boat as you OP. I never had decent GPS, I didn't test Wifi/BT death until a few weeks back & Wifi was weaker than my OG droid. But, up until a month ago I wasn't having any daily issues...no more. I bought mine in the HH Gregg Friday the 13th "sale".
Now I'm starting to see screen bleed. That jives with the screw tightening theory.
The tablet crashes almost daily. The first crash didn't happen until after .19.
The stock browser wants to FC/Wait/Cancel at once per use.
Wifi is all over the place - it used to be only a few dBm lower than the OG Droid, now it can be 10 to 15 dBm less.
Wifi/BT immediately kills streaming (finally bought a BT headset)
I can't wait to see how bad the RMA process will be. I'll be video taping the packing at the post office, heh...

HHGregg next to Target actually carried these things? That's a surprise. And you must mean .15 it went from .15 to .21 US never got a .19.. as for the wait message in browser try going into settings>advanced and setting plug-ins to On demand see if that helps
Gmail has been unusable for ever since I bought my Prime. Constant crashes. I feel your pain. Yesterday's update did not fix it.

Thank you, at least I am not alone. Do you have any other info on this issue?
Is it google? Asus? Did the cleaning of Cache help?
I am at a loss if I cant have email working. In fact, who the hell will buy a device with no email??
Which means I'll have a $500 dollar paper weight.
Gmail has been fine never crashed since I bought it in Feb.. Are you rooted? Run fix permissions if you can that might help
not rooted
maybe its only us first batchers? the bcokas or whatever
Tons of opengl errors in the logs when gmail crashes. Sometimes I do see other error messages as well. I have tried submitting bug reports to google. No response. Tried with Asus. One completely inane and unrelated response 8 days later. Not sure where else to try looking for help. I'm not rooted. Completely stock. C2 serial number. I have done a lot of googling and found a lot of other mentions of the problem, but no fixes. Clearing cache and data does not fix it, nor did a factory reset.
I am in the same boat!!!
I could deal with all the other problems, but the web browsing SUCKS!!!!
I have done all the settings BS.....java on/off....plug ins on demand...etc. Even with Java off and plug ins set to on demand I have had the "wait/cancel" pop up....wtf!
Even other browsers....the page will load about 75% real quick and then BAM stop. It will then take some time to load the rest or I get the "wait/cancel" deal.
Twice today out of nowhere the screen goes black...and then it reboots.
The only thing I can think of is there is some sort of bottleneck with all the adds in java. If there is root for .21 maybe adfree would help.
But why the hell would you have to go thru all this!! I really love this little thing, but if this is the top of the line android tablet......man that is pretty freaking sad!!!
Its embarrassing sometimes, trying to show some one the prime. I dont even want to show anyone how it works....its gotten that bad.
As for the browser waiting/force close messages..
and it may not work across the board because I don't know what you have installed.
I got the wait/close messages very frequently during every browsing session.
using stock,ics +,boat,chrome,xscope,and opera, etc.
I uninstalled chrome and flash, then reinstalled flash and I now use opera exclusively and haven't had a wait/close message since. Going on a week now!
I use desktop user agent and flash always on.
I hate opera on my evo because its so slow but it works great on the prime.
Can't hurt to try it if you happen to have chrome installed.
never had an issue with gmail on mine. have you tried removing your gmail account under accounts and sync, then go to app settings for gmail, clear the cache and data, then re-adding your account?
I've got a BCO serial.

This might be simple, but have you tried a factory reset? I had stability issues with a couple of apps as well as the occasional OS freeze and a factory reset after the .21 update cleared up all of my performance problems.
If you check the "automatic restore" box under Backup & Restore in the System menu the tablet will automatically re-install all of your Google Play apps.

Does that auto app restore also restore app data(eg: a game's progress)?

Confirmed temporary solution to game freezing and browser/system lag. Video Added!

Hey guys. I believe that the os21 update has a bad memory leak/background processing management(besides a kernal issue). When playing heavy 3d games like Nova 3 or Sonic, the framerates are really slow or stutter a lot until the games force-close. Well, for the past 2 days, I have not had this issue, both Nova 3 and Sonic play with no stuttering at all, and I have not experienced any more game crashes. My browser also seems much smoother. Please try the two fix options listed below, while noting that the 2nd option seems to work best with mass Efeect, and less "strict" on runnig processes than the first option:
Fix #1- What I did was push the soft reset button on the Prime (using a small paperclip), then waited for the Prime to reboot. Once it rebooted, DO NOT let the Prime load up anything, just immediately go into settings, developer options, select the kill all activities option, then for background processes, select "at most 1 process only" Delete all of your running task managers/task widgets an that's it. Now all of my games run, no crashes, and the framerates for Nova 3 and Sonic is MUCH better.
Fix# 2 - For those still having issues with Mass Effect, this alternate setting will definitely fix the problem. After soft rebooting, go into development settings, and then for background processes, select "at most 1 process only" and DO NOT select kill all processes after leaving them. This setting has been confirmed to fix the Mass Effect issue, as well as all other games while still keeping the Prime running a lot smoother.
Please try using the exact instructions that I have posted, and let me know if this works for you guys. If so, then it proves that the os21 has a memory management issue which is causing all the current issues we are having.
Also, I would like to share this post from Jaycustom, whom has also been using this method for a few days now and enjoying it more than myself lol. He ran a CPU test to test the differences before and after my fix. See his results below:
Default settings said I had about 19 user/ 29 system processes running.
Dev settings gave me 14 user/ 11 system processes running.
Default settings for system memory 600+mb used/300+ free
Dev settings for system memory 300+ used/600+ free
The memory usage was pretty much exactly reversed! So I assume this is where most, but not all, of the performance boost comes from. CPU usage was also lower, not by much though.
See the video that I made (link below)showing me using the default browser, which is now really fast and stable using this method. I also ran Mass Effect 3 and Nova 3 to show that I have no issues playing these games anymore. I used a Samsung Galaxy tab to record, so please re-frame from laughing at the quality of the vid lol! If you guys would like me to try more games/apps, please let me know.

Thanks guys
Nova 3 is still freezing and crashing, frame rate is still same.... I think tehere is no solution untill FailLoft will update the app for tegra 3.

Sorry to hear that it didnt work for you, but it seems to have resolved the issue for me entirely. I am not exeriencing any more gam crashes or white flashing screens. Are you sure that you followed the stes listed? Waiting for others to rely, but either my Prime just decided to play all my games correctly, or this is "fix" is working for me.
This is not an acceptable fix, it is only a workaround.

Yes I agree 100%, but it works. At least we can play some of our games/browse without issue until the fix comes out. Did you try it, and did it work for you?

I'll have to try this out tonight. To clarify, when you say "do not let it load up anything", do you just mean go into the settings as soon as possible and kill things? It must start running services as soon as it boots, no? I guess this just minimizes the "damage"?
Hi, I've just tried this and it doesn't seem to have had much of an effect I'm afraid.
In the last 10 mins I've still had two spontaneous browser shutdowns, plus crappy streaming video playback from sites such as bbc iplayer.
The pages seem to load a little faster and scrolling may be a touch smoother but thats about it the best I can say.
This solution works well for me. I have been doing this for some time, except I have limited the processes to three. Limiting it to one seems to improve it even better. Widgets seem also to be a drain on the resources and limiting those works well for me. Much thanks for the post.
You might also try this solution from here post #118 :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1681469&page=12
It seems to have worked for me, I've only had one reboot since. It's at least worth a try. Good luck.

yes exactly.. this is the way it worked for me. Just immediately go into setting, and select the options that i listed. This will only allow the essential programs to run. Please let me know if this works for you. Also, switch the prime to performance for graphic heavy games. Still testing this, but so far I have not have any crashes since applying.

Thanks for confirm this. Yes, my Prime is no longer lagging when browsing or crashing during gameplay..the difference is honestly night and day. Just confirms for me that .21 is not handling the background processes, or closing them correctly.

Hey, do you happen to have the sticky player app installed by any chance?
No I've never used sticky player app.
I've been toying with the idea of factory resetting and trying this. I'll see how it goes tonight

you shouldn't have to factory reset, that would suck
Can you try the soft reset option again? Once it's done, update the setting as listed and try the Prime on performance mode. If that doesn't help, then you may have a bad app which is hogging on your resources and causing the slowdown/crashes.
This procedure also seems to improve on the strength of the Wi-Fi signal. At least on mine it does.

Maybe it's just because the Prime is loading pages a lot faster because there aren't so many things running in the background now. it would be cool though if this also fixed wifi, maybe someone should do a speed test for before and after the fix?
I just tried the default browser again. It does not lag/stutter when scrolling through the pages anywhere near like it used to. it's not as smooth as opera mini, but it's a LOT better than before. Still no game crashes at all since doing this. I can post vids for anyone who would like to see proof after work.

I was gonna do one anyway, just to start from scratch with a blank slate and get it set up how I want it!
After resetting, and before any apps are downloaded the browser is working much much better once the settings you recommend are applied. Loading and scrolling is faster and there have been no force closes or video hangups.
Cheers, I look forward to this .28 update but thats helped me out a lot in the meantime!

Great to hear! yes, my Prime seems much quicker with touch inputs, scrolling, gaming and web browsing. Must of been a bad memory issue along with the kernel for .21.
just did this ans seems to work very well. i was getting around 12-15mbs and now im getting 32mbs in the garage with only 1 bar. im very happy with that. thanks for sharing.
