How many pics do you have? I used to run into this problem on my dinc if I kept to many photos. Not saying that is your cause, just a thought from prior experiences.
Sent with a Rezounding HELL YEA!

Loaded music on my sdcard yesterday.
Played shine through the phone.
Rebooted this morning and bite just the cover art is there, no music files.

You didn't by any chance pull this microsd card out of another phone and put it in the resound did you? If so you will NEED to copy your files to your computer, put the microsd in your phone, format through your phone and move everything back. Atleast the important stuff anyway.

did that.
Took it out of the thunderbolt, cord all files to ssd. Formatted card, out music on it, worked, than now no files, within 24 hours.

You need to download SD Re-Scan from the android market https://market.android.com/details?id=com.bero.sdrescan&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwyLDEsImNvbS5iZXJvLnNkcmVzY2FuIl0.

Half my photo gallery won't load anymore

Wondering if anyone else has had this issue. Using the Samsung class 10 32gb micro SD card and all of a sudden this morning every other picture or video won't load. It just shows a black portrait with black background. I have tried unmountinf and mounting it and pulling the card out and back in but it doesn't fix it. Worried I lost most my pictures. Using ICS leak

I had this problem. If you have a lot of pictures u must wait like 30 minutes after the first install of the rom

Nandroid backup issue

Having a weird problem with 3.15 I can't restore any of my nandroid backups all of a sudden and it doesn't show me anything in my internal sd card?
Sent from my ADR6425LVW using xda premium
I had this problem previously as well. I was never able to figure out what actually caused it but running the GB RUU fixed it for me.
How about reinstalling the recovery?
Same here! Switched to TWRP
I had this issue b4 but somehow fixed it.

Did you happen to install a ROM that wipes your internal SD? (Like newts?)
I had tried his 4.5 wip yes

What would I need to do to fix it?

Look at your internal sd with a file explorer app. If it's empty then it was most likely wiped.
I'm that case I always keep a backup of my phone memory internal and external on my pc. You can never be too safe or prepared

Nothing is missing on sd card.

Before I had flashed newts 4.5 wip everything restore just fine and I could see the sd card. Maybe I should flash an older RUU?

Anyone with a reflow station try pulling out the 16 internal to a 64gb chip?

Looking for info if anyone has or wants to try. Ill take a chance on my phone but dont have the equipment to do it. Anyone up for a challange?

Why would you mess with that? There's a script that swaps the internal with the external sd card. Beans rom gives you the option to swap cards during installation.

I no. I did that already with a 64 ultra card. But if possible why not? 128 gb total would be awsome.

Also internal memory is much faster than a sd card. In read and write.

This. Swapping out internal memory with an SD Card is not the same as going from a 16GB internal chip to a 64GB internal chip. Sure you'll have all that extra space for your apps but man is it going to be slow.

Normally I would agree with this, but it is no longer true. Reading is just as faster or faster on an external, and writing is getting close.
I have run several tests, and my sdxc card reads as fast as the internal storage (32MB/s). As for writing, it comes close, but isn't as reliable in constant performance (12MB/s). NAND writes at 15MB/s reliably.
A more expensive card will probably outperform the internal NAND.

SanDisk 64GB Micro SD problems

Permissions correct but cant write or delete anything and also unable to format. The card data is still all accessible, but can't be modified. It was fine until I installed safe strap and Hyperdrive ROM. Not sure if its related. I don't want to send card to SanDisk for replacement BC it has a lot of personal data on it. Any help here would be great.

Anyone who is reading this. SanDisk is excellent at returning items that have been purchased within the last 12 months. I sent the card off and a replacement is on the way.
