[Q] Hboot 1.11.0011 S-OFF - HTC Flyer, EVO View 4G

This question is an offspring of this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1601431
It seems that I have a Hboot version 1.11.0011 and 'revolutionary' does not cover this version regarding S-OFF. Is there another way to get a S-OFF onto this Hboot version? (And, why all these versions? - bonus question)

I also wonder this.

Same here

I had the same;
i got it unlocked via HTC unlocker - well not me guy who helped me. He tould e other metod is posible as well but more complicated.
So is it posible - yes.

Yes that I know but if I not mistakeing and you unlock it trough HTCdev you are loosing your warranty.

There is a posibility to downgrade to gingerbread without using the the HTCdev.
After this you could S-OFF with revolutionary.

Did anyone tried this and where did you get the RUU. I Unlocked my Flyer via HTC Dev and reading day and night how to get to the next step and S-OFF. This thread ended for some in a bricked device.

In this tread you can find the RUU
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1062184
But for example I need the RUU_Flyer_HTC_WWE_Wifi_2.27.1114.31_Radio_20.3504.30.089BU_3809.07
And you can't download it

Had the same 1.11.0011 problem, took me a while to finally find the right method.

[Q] revolutionary s-off questions

I currently have a htc desire which i wanna s-off, i came across revolutionary which is said to s-off my phone, but i currently have custom rom installed with data2sd. can i just run it? will it brick my phone?
I did mine yesterday and had no issues whatsoever! Successfully S-OFFed!
I am on MIUI D2EXT ROM
Ensure that the HBOOT version is as mentioned in the website. Do NOT proceed if using 0.8
So, u can run it even if rooted? Nice, does it turn the s-on to s-off or does it just change the bootloader thingy?

[Q] HTC Unlock and HBOOT 1.50.0000

So I have question regarding HBoot 1.50.0000:
The HTC unlock method allows for a partially unlocked bootloader, allowing us to load custom ROM's. Is it possible to use the HTC method, then flash a previous Hboot like 1.30 or 1.40? I haven't seen anywhere where this has been tried, so I figured I would ask it.

As far as I understand as long as you still have S-on it will not allow you to downgrade the bootloader. I've also searched this theory.

I have 1.50 and S-off. I asked in another thread but never got a response. Can I downgrade since I am S-off? I used Revolutionary and then mistakenly flashed the wrong file to update radios etc. Put me on hboot 1.50 but I remained S-off.

Engine h-boot and revolutionary h-boot

I currently have the eng h-boot I ran revolutionary many months ago and then flash the eng h-boot. My question is this can I flash back to the revolutionary h-boot without running revolutionary and will I lose s-off? I tried searching but I'm on the xda app and could not find what I was looking for. Thank you in advance for any help

I don't know about getting back to the revolutionary hboot, but you can get back to the hboot that's almost the exact same as revolutionary, hboot1.4, by flashing a pg86img.zip through your bootloader. If you haven't had any issues with the ENG bootloader, there's no reason to need to change it though. It's up to you.
here's a link to both the hboot1.4 and eng hboot (just choose the one you want to download, both of them are in first post) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1192306

There IS NO s-off for h-boot 1.01 and never will be, only solution is to do the htcdev bootloader unlock via www.htcdev.com.
look around the legend forums for all the goss and info in "HTC legend is free" thread, there is also plenty of threads with lots of info regarding others that have had issues with the unlocking that have been helped my me and other members of the legend community, best to go look around the community as its all there to explore
Follow the steps on htcdev.com and you will be able to write to /system and /recovery. Therefore your hboot will be unlocked and you can install CM 10 with no problem.
Exactly like on the top. Do on HtcDev. and it will be Ok. I just had a problem with do this on win7 but on win xp was no problem

this is for people who had their motherboards replaced and are unable to unlock with htcdev. I personally think ramjets guide is much easier (not to mention that it doesnt involve intentionally bricking your phone )
So?
I did it and it worked. 5 minutes and i had downgrade, root and s-off No need for htcdev or some wires It is just my opinion.
