Android 3.0+ has featured native gamepad support.
Considering the Xperia Play's controller has everything the supported native gamepad does (minus the analog triggers), would Xperia Play support indicate gamepad support?
Anyone with a tablet and a controller tested this out much?

Hello, I have just installed a 4.1.1 rom to my galaxy tab 10.1 LTE (sch-i905) and I am wondering how to add game support to it. when I was at 3.2 I simply insmod'ed ff-memless.ko and xpad.ko but now that I have updated to jb, how can I get gamepad support?

Depends on your controller. Some you can simply just connect, but others you may have to use a market app to connect or get gamepad status. (for example, a Wii Remote or a PS3 Remote).
Does anyone know of a gamepad that I can use to emulate having the Xperia Play's gamepad on my unrooted GS3, so I can use physical controls on all xperia play optimized games? If an app is required to configure the gamepad, please link to it.

Check out the Moga gamepad. Its not quite like the xperia but it has dpads and sticks.
From what I understand, the remote play port only has dualshock 4 support for remote play itself (so no other apps can use it). Is there any port of the native ds4 support on Xperia devices, or is the sixaxis app the only option?

When i stream PC games to my shield TV, some of them are not compatible with gamepad (mmo, rpg etc.)
So i must use an external mouse and keyboard.
My question is : Do we have a solution to activate gamepad for these games and "remap" some keyboard keys to touchpad and activate mouse control with right controller ?

Yes, with Droidmote Server and Client installed in your Shield TV + profiles.
Check for game profiles in the following playlist or install the Droidmote profiles app to do the remaping by yourself or request it to the dev.

I play the games through steam. It picks up my Nvidia controller as a steam controller and I can use the community created profiles for games without controller support
i have a ps4 controller connected to my android phone via bluetooth, things are smooth and nice but i'm stuck with nfs mostwanted that only supports moga controller.
no i'm not planning to get my self a moga controlelr because the ps4 and ps5 and xbox controllers are the best in terms of senstivity and support and they are standards now
so is there a way to trick the game that the ps4 controller is a moga controller since both have the same layout ??
