[Share]^^^BOOt ANIMATIONs^^^ [UPDATED-27/04] Fixed black screen - XPERIA X8 Themes and Apps

Hey Fellow Xda members and developers,
Do u ever get bored of your android? Like your phone needs a new look?
Tried changing Wallpapers and Launchers?
Wanna try changing bootanimations?
Bellow are some bootanimations u can pick and install. I have edited them to work on x8/w8
Method to install:
Download your favorite bootanimation
Put them somewhere in your sd card and remember that location
Go to Root explorer
In system/media
u will find bootanimation.zip
Copy that and keep it in a safe location (rename it as bootanimationBACKUP.zip to avoid confusion
now go to the downloaded bootanimation
copy it and paste it in system/media
delete the already existing bootanimation.zip
rename the downloaded bootanimation as bootanimation.zip
long prees the zip and select permissions
make it look this
+ + -
+ - -
+ - -
The (+) means a tick
The (-) means no tick
reboot and enjoy the new bootanimation
Bellow are the bootanimations and the links are on thier names
If the download links dont work then find the bootanimations from my Mediafire Folder

OK first for anyone wanting to try new boot animations you can simply download these and make sure you rename it to bootanimation.zip
Using "root explorer app" go to

Reboot ...or you can put it in SYSTEM/MEDIA. your choice ! 1st method doesn't get delete when wiping roms.

Nice find bro. If anyone finds one that doesn't fit pm me and I'd be happy to resize it for you.

/system/media gets wiped when you flash a new ROM. /data/local does not, unless you do a full wipe.
You can put it in either location (that's what she said ), it just depends how "permanent" you want it.

data/local is a more permanent place as stated like the post above. You can place it in SYSTEM/MEDIA if you choose to though, won't hurt but make sure you rename it to bootanimation.zip then reboot..

Bios Style Bootanimation Arconium Style

i made this bootanimation a while back when i was using arconium. i hope to share this with the members of this forum it took a while for me to do last time i hope you enjoy my work
How to Install:
Using Root Explorer: Copy The bootanimation.zip to systems/media and replace the original bootanimation.zip
Using Root Explorer: Change Permission to rw-r-r
Reboot and There You Have It!
Download:
https://www.box.com/s/449e4f69bbeb2b6a7e08
note: this bootanimation will work for all roms not just arconium, it's because when it boots, it shows showing arconium. it's just a small part of it so it doesn't really matter much but it may be much of a bother to some of you. just saying ^^

[BOOTANIMATION] Playstion 2 Boot Animation for Xperia SP!

Hi all
I am back with the awaited PS2 bootanimation [BETA] for your Xperia SP devices!
Cool PS2 boot screen, now see the cubes in 3D on your phone
You can also convert it to live wallpaper and set as your live wallpaper
Have a look at screenshots!
How to Install this bootanimation
Well there are 2 methods manually and by applications. I always give the safest and easiest way which is by apps! Go and download ROM Toolbox Lite and install it. Download my "PS2.zip" boot animation file and keep it on your SD card. Open ROM Toolbox Lite, swipe up to Interface tab and click on boot animations. Migrate to where you downloaded the zip file and click on it and click install and voila! You're done!
***WARNING*** I will not be responsible for any dead or bricked devices! Do this at your own risk
Always remember to make a copy of your stock bootanimation by opening root browser and then go to root then "/system/media" and there you will find your bootanimation.zip file, Copy it and save it to someplace safe then install any other boot animation.
Here is the Download Link ---> PS2.ZIP
Like my work! Press thanks :good:
Me as an individual developer takes a lot of time and resources to make these files, please donate to me so that I can continue making these projects
