There is the "origami" style case, but that does not protect the back. It does work well and comes in different colors. Got mine at Office Depot.

If you are looking for an iPad2 style case you might want to browse the Accessories forum. Not saying you will find what you need (you likely won't) but there has already been A LOT of discussion with regards to this topic.

How is that working for you. Did you encounter any issues that the amazon reviewers were talking about?
I too purchased the origami case from Office Depot. I searched and searched for a thin case and this is all I could find. It does not protect the back, but I am not worried about the back. I just did not want a big bulky case when I purchased this tablet for the thinness. it does fold into several different position depending on the viewing angle you are trying to achieve.
Now I got my dock, I will use the origami case when it is not in the dock.

I might order the prime tablet as a gift for someone and looking for good case to go with it, so far i've been able to find this:

Case Logic are doing a nicer black case that you can use the prime with keyboard whilst still in the bag / case have a look on the case logic website. Think I will get the case logic one.

I bought one of these to carry the Prime, an OG Galaxy Tab that we are getting for work, a notebook and misc junk. I realize it's not a case but it is an alternative to what the OP listed.

They are well made, I have a case logic for my Asus netbook and its very good. Will definitely get case logic for the Asus Prime. It's well protected, has a strap, it does the job and looks good.

Does that fit the prime good?
Where are you seeing the Case Logic case? I was not able to find it one their web site.
I got this one fits good only 13.65 and prime shipping its made for the galaxy 10.1

Bought the bottom one (verteks) so i'll post my opinions when it arrives but I also bought this http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006QHW7JS/ref=oh_o00_s00_i00_details cause it comes with a zip up case + dock + HDMI cable. another version of it comes with everything except the HDMI cable is switched with 3 different colored stylus (or is it styli????).

At that price, I doubt their' quality. Let us know how they feel.
DO NOT get the smart cover, I had it on my first prime and it damages the metal back with dents and scratches. It is form Asus and is poorly designed (go figure), it will fall apart on your 3 times a day and although you can reassemble it, it is very annoying having to do so.

does anyone know of a similar case to this but with an pouch as well for cables? I know it's a TF101 case, b ut considering the prime is a small item it will fit this case easy.
I am looking at this case as well as I read about the reviews on the office transleeve having all the problems with the tablet and the lack of availability online. From the pictures on amazon it seems that its quite thin to carry around. I read a review somewhere maybe from it official website saying that this can carry a dock with the transformer so i assume this is okay.
i have this case! it fits very well and you dont even have to take the prime out of the dock. also, it is a hard case, so it protects much better against falls etc.

Thanks for the info! just a quick question, since the tablet is very thin and so once you put the prime into the case does it get really fat or huge to hold with one hand?

of course its thicker, its not a neoprene sleeve. but thats why it protects well and you can still easily carry it with one hand! i really like it. didnt expect much for the price and was pleasantly surprised!
i also ordered a 10'' netbook case from case logic to compare, but the prime has too much room in it and its more of a thin neoprene, so its just scratch-protection...
I bought this hard case:

Internal dimensions now that I have it in my hand are:
Case: 26.8cm x 19.1cm x 3-4cm
Prime: 26.3cm x 18.1cm x 2cm
As you can see, it's a pretty close fit in theory. Have to wait 5 days before I get my Prime to confirm it's a good fit.

just like everyone else, looking for a proper case for my prime
since eventually (in the near future) I plan on getting the Dock, i'm looking for a case/sleeve
- looked at all the cased and couldn't find one I liked
- Finally found a case, but haven't had a chance to try it yet
it's the HP VX403AA / VX404AA it's a mini neoprene sleeve for the HP Mini netbook
- price is 32$ as low as I could find it. pricey but nice
- Has 2 smaller pockets on one side and a big one on the other side
- Plenty of storage to keep the charging cable/charger/micro USB with the tablet wherever you go.
- I'll let you know how it fits as soon as I try it, you can find it in local BestBuy's so if any1 is interested in trying it out before I get to it, by all means post your results.

It looks like there is a pocket on the inside of the cover.
I ordered this iGadgitz case. Hope to get it next week. I will post some pictures when I have it.
I have recently purchased the envelope neoprene case by built. They sell several different versions but I bought the 9-10" net book version and the transformer prime with dock attached fits like they were made for each other. It also has a front pocket for your charge cables and charger.

This is a great case, my prime and dock lives in it when I'm not using it. It fits snug and feels well protected. There is a mesh Pocket inside which I justuse to keep the screen cloth, but you could easily fit a USB cable in.

A lot of these cases would be fine if they weren't fake leather. If for instance they were lightly texture vinyl instead or silicon. Fake leather electronics cases always feel so 1990 to me.

im hoping/praying it wont take that long, if im waiting that long, i hope some one will make a good case for it
I already have a bag that I use to transport my transformer and dock together. I am looking for something like a sleeve that will permanently stay on both the transformer and dock for protection, while they are docked together. If this does not exist, is there a sleeve that goes on the transformer itself that can stay on even when the dock is connected? Basically I never disconnect the dock from the transformer but want to be able to have protection on the transformer while it is being used and is docked.

Or try this. I love the skins from bestskinsever as it really keeps the fingerprints down to a minimum. It is a clear, tough and beautiful skin that I use on all my electronics and still fits into the dock with a minimum of fuss. The price is right too at $19 for a full body skin or $14 for just the front.

if it's good to you to double width of the tablet it is good.
I always use this case only for the tablet alone, because I fear that added thickness would damage dock's screen motion mechanism.

I didn't even know about skins when I bought a 'leather' case thing; still don't really. This could be a dumb question but what do they actually cover? Back of screen? Front of screen? Bottom of dock as well?
My TF hasn't actually arrived yet but I anticipate that I'll be taking only the pad into uni some days and pad+dock other days.
Pad+dock days are sorted already but when I'm just taking the pad do you think a skin will be enough protection? It will travel in my backpack so I'm really looking for as small as possible with screen-scratch protection and a little bit of cushioning perhaps. I know its always going to be a tradeoff but what's your experience been?

Description says you have to take the dock off to close the case.

Its not bad, its ok.
It stays on my tablet. However when I attach the keyboard to the tablet, doesn't work so well. I need to flip the case over and then it will fit with the keyboard on (but then the keyboard remains unprotected). Not ideal, but I get by. I then put the whole in one of those netbook style protected sleeves.

I was thinking of buying a TF101 after my sister showed me her iPad and I became really jealous! Only thing I liked the look of though was her smart cover.
I was wondering of there is anything like that for the TF101, the only important stuff is is has to be thin and act as kickstand.
I saw the sikai cases and they look good but the material colours don't quite seem to go well with the tablet and the folding stand doesn't seem to click in a triangle to stop it flying about.
Ideally I liked the look of the TranSleeve for the prime. Is there an equivalent for the TF101 because I don't want the dock and only bothered about keeping the screen safe, I'm not too bothered about the back!

I didn't think I was going to find anything like the iPad's but it was worth a try! I saw something similar for the Galaxy Tab but I hate the look of TouchWiz. Instead I'll just go for the Archos G9 because it's pretty cheap and has a kickstand. I'll buy a proper tab when I find one I like the look of - unless of course I cave in and get an iPad!
