Good white cases? - AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note I717

I have a TPU case from Diztronic which is holding up well, but I really like the look of a white case on a black phone. So I'm in the market for another case.
I'm thinking about possibly the Zenus with blue kickstand
Or the Spigen Ultra Capsule
any others to consider?

The Zenus is a very (very) tight fit, and will result in rub marks on your chrome trim over time if you take your phone out of your case a lot. It also adds a lot of bulk, but at the same time is a good quality product with excellent protection.
I'd recommend the SGP Ultra over it, though. A bit glossier and it has glitter through it, but it's well-made and easy enough to get on/off without too much trouble

I've got the Zenus as well, and it does protect well, but, I agree that there will be rub marks eventually; I just ordered the trident Kraken, and plan on just using the rubber/silicone layer for around the house, and will use the entire case when the phone goes "out on the town"

I can only see the Casual on their site. The Kraken for the iPad looks extreme!!

I ordered this one
http://www.tridenteer.com/products/Kraken-AMS-Case-for-Samsung-Galaxy-Note-(SCH%2dI717)-(Blue).html
should look nice on a white phone

That looks awesome. Pity there's no white/black one. Same with the Seidio Active.
A little disappointing tbh

they used to have white in their "Aegis" series, but its not as protective as the Krakken, and there is no kick stand, which I REALLY like..
looks like they didn't make a white aegis for this phone..

Just get yoobao white case, I bought it at ebay, it's really good quality

I bought 3 Pleomax Pudding. Nice tight fit, but still ply-able enough to be easy on and easy off. Tighter than the Mercury Pearl TPU.

You're not happy with the Zenus wallet case? I ordered it and have it coming. It looks like a good case to me.
I recommend the Ringke Slim . . . very minimalist. Pretty expensive for what you get, though, and the screen protector was kind of crap.

The case is good for what's it for. I like it so far but I'm not satisfied. The only problem I'm having is having to fold the cover back when I have to use it like text messaging. It's a hindrance.
Exactly ,the folding cases make things difficult

I ordered a different case from Zenus and another wallet case but in black with the stand on the back. It's the same price as the brown nubuck leather case. And one of their graffiti silicon case. I'll be switching between whichever I feel like using.
I'm planning on going completely naked. No cover, no case except maybe a belt case. Not sure I'll want to keep this in my pocket.
The $7 TPU cases are quite thin, at least until you find something you like. You can also order a Neoprene sleeve or the OEM sleeve to keep it in while in your pocket. I ordered them and the Neoprene one was $4 and the OEM 25
I tried one of the "ultra thin tpu cases" for sale on ebay and so far, I'm loving it. The case really is ultra thin, and mine is clear frosted so it also adds a bit of grip.
Note, it offers zero face protection, and only covers up to the chrome bezel on the sides.
Link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ultra-Thin-...ng-Galaxy-Note-5-3-i9220-0179TT-/250996534376
Fits really well for being thin and flexible, and the slimmest case I've seen so far.

Wow that's thin. Thanks for posting the link, I hope I can still find this when I get my note this summer. That looks really nice on the white Note
I bought two cases.
http://www.amazon.com/EMPIRE-Samsun...S0WO/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1329718439&sr=8-9
The empire case, i use when I'm at home. It's almost like not having a case at all. Protection for the left and right sides and the back are there. Top and Bottom are open as well as the front of the screen.
When I go out of the house, I transfer to the Zenus Wallet Case:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/samsung-gal...784392?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item4600c77d08
It's great for going out...protects the phone reasonably well and I don't have to carry a separate wallet. Oh it the case itself looks AWESOME!

I bet it does fit, as im pretty sure the discrepancy in size was probably an error in either measurement or conversion between metric and standard units. Every case people have bought for an international note so far has fit the at&t one, even the zenus capsule case, which is hard plastic.
The only things that do not work are replacement battery covers due to the difference in the location of the tabs, which what i linked to is not a battery cover.

I got my wife the tridea case from ebay, its pretty nice and offers better protection than most flip cases around the sides.
I got this case on amazon. Its the Khomo Executive flip case and I can honestly say that it's by far the worst case that you could spend (little) money on. it offers almost no protection aside from the soft felt stickers on the inside. its made from really cheap hard plastic and only snaps around the edges. after putting the phone in it the for the first time, i set it on a white painted bookshelf. it immediately took white paint transfer barely sliding it across the shelf. Im sure if i left phone in there much longer it would have transferred black scratches to my white Note. It barely closes shut and front flip overlaps the edges too far. Worst of all in the design of this is that it covers the volume key. One drop in this case would probably crack the plastic edges and break the phone. Ultimate fail case!!!

That's exactly what I was going for...good quality for a good price. It looked like what I wanted. And that would be a slim tough flip case that could handle a drop or fall and protect my phone. Sadly, this wasn't it, I'll keep trying to find it. I've got a quality case which is my daily but would like a flip style w/o the bulk.

Yeah. The Executive is all leather. Gives good protection but not as stiff.
The Slim has a hard shell and leather overlay. Better protection but more stiff. The Otterbox is excellent protection but more bulk. Depends on what you are looking for.

Thinnest Case That Protects Screen Edge?

I just upgraded from the Skyrocket to the Note yesterday. I had the Seidio Active combo on my Skyrocket. It's a great case, but it was a little bulky and the rubber was too grippy for jeans.
I'd like to find the thinnest case possible for the Note, but I want something that protects the screen edge with a slightly raised portion. The Gorilla Glass is harder to break than normal glass, but it can be broken and it scratches just as easily.
Some of the slim cases I have seen don't offer the screen edge protection, like the SPG and the Elago. Any ideas? Maybe I should just get a bumper case.
http://www.case-mate.com/Samsung-Ga...g-Galaxy-Note-Note-LTE-Barely-There-Cases.asp
I use the Rearth Ringke slim and like it. The only raised part is on the corners, though, so you may not like it. The sides are largely uncovered.

Paying $25 for that case is just foolish.
I bought this one for $7:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/WHITE-GLOSS...802561?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item3371d03501
Its not that thick, its cheap and its secure.
The Boxwave Unicolor case is pretty thin. I also like that it combines TPU for the edge to protect the corners but uses hard plastic on the back to allow it to easily slide in and out of pockets. I always find TPU is just too sticky for the entire case. One added perk: The back plastic is see-thru so the phone still looks pretty stock if you like that look.
On Amazon for like $14. I think you can find other manufacturers of the same case on eBay for cheaper, but I jus tuse Amazon because it's easier. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=470938631&pf_rd_i=507846
I got a clear TPU case, both form and function are just fine. It comes up and over the edge of the screen just enough to add some protection, and easily slides in and out of all my pockets, and my jeans don't hang off of me I got it from this guy for just $1.99 delivered.
I got this case:
http://www.amazon.com/elago-Slim-Ca..._1_1?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1331234426&sr=1-1

As I said in my post, the Elago does not protect the screen edges.
I really don't think any of the ultra-thin cases have screen lip protection. I have the Elago, but rarely use it. Find a slightly bigger case that does and make the compromise. I love the Zenus Air Capsule. It has a screen lip, has a kickstand, hard plastic so it slides in and out of pocket easily and is less bulky than the Speck, Casemate and most of the other "mid" protection range cases. Just my 2c!

Thin case

Hi there,
Im looking for thin case.
Best I have found is this case on ebay
Design is not bad, but its not covering glass area around the camera.
Questions:
1. Is there any thin case(plastic, rubber) that covers that?
2. Anyone tried skins? Will they remove easily(considering phone is jeans pocket)?
3. Those who are using various rubber, gel, hybrid and so on cases, how much fatter is your phone with them? If its not that much fatter suggestions on good cases then

I have tried them all, best case is either the capdase brand or official HTC TPU case. They both let your phone slide into your pocket easy, don't bulk out your phone, look great and offer good protection.

Look up the Kraken AMS. That is a reasonable case.
Alternatively just look for something like this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BLACK-HAR...sesPouches&hash=item3a6a2fac16#ht_1887wt_1396
Best thing about this type of case is it doesn't add too much bulk, and is easy to get in and out of your pocket (unlike a silicone/rubber case). And it will actually protect your phone in a drop unlike that case you linked to in your original post. As for your screen... only BIG cases include a plastic layer to completely cover the glass.
Are you just looking for something with raised edges, and then use a screen protector perhaps? (Like the ebay one I showed you).

My case looks exactly the same and it was £3 from amazon.
IMO the thinnest cases are the back cases ones that doesnt really cover the top and bottom bezel...just the sides and back. BUT if you really want to protect your phone and not get it scratched up over time, you are better off using a TPU type case as the are not too thick and are of softer material and will not rub off any of the black anodized paint. Unlike any hard cases, whether its back only or 2 pieces. Also TPU cases are more absorbent during accidental drop on hard surfaces.
I was running seidio 2pc case hard case w/kick stand with my first 3d and although it had felt inside it eventually rubbed off the pain on the top corners of my phone. The felt inside was very thin and the case is not skin tight so it would move some and the slight movement of the case over time eventually sandpapered some of the paint off. TPU or rubber type cases are more skin tight and is not as abrasive as plastic on painted metal and will not damage the paint so long as you also clean it off from time to time. Some dirt can eventually get in between and the dirt will act as sandpaper. So just consider this when you're buying a case as some of you would probably like to sell your phone later down the road or just want to keep it looking new for a long time.

I have had the Symmetry case for a week or so now. I like it. I picked up a Spigen Slim Armor too. The Spigen is a bit slimmer, but the white color I picked stained quickly at work (I'm a mechanic). The Symmetry is a good bit thinner than the older Commuter cases. I'd say it's like an Urban Armor Gear case but without the extra corner protection and added thickness from the design in the plastic on the rear.
The Spigen Slim armor will give you nearly identical protection while being a tad thinner, just stay away from white. With that said, I really like the Symmetry series. It'll be on my G3 for a long while. Wireless charging still works flawlessly.

The blue one is the best. I've sadly dropped my g3 a couple of times and it's perfectly fine, the case however, has some scratches and nicks, but its definitely built to protect while being fairly slim. As you can see in my picture the color is awesome and really looks good in the light.

I bought the Symmetry case for the HTC One M8 and loved it. Am now waiting for Symmetry case for G3.
Just got this case for a great price from Amazon. I had a Body Glove case, which is nice, but I wanted a bit more protection and wanted a case that fit tighter to the phone. The Otterbox is perfect - REALLY tight, no loose sides or top or bottom, so it feels like a tank once it's on. It's a little tough to get off, but that's no big deal. I can also confirm it works fine for wireless charging.
I think this is the case I'll be keeping my G3 in until I get a new phone next year.
