Once again the old chip was compatible with hspa+. Unless samsung made a tmobile specific bands you will be waiting for tmobile to refarm their network or a tmobile specific device.

When I exchange to the one s, I'm obviously restoring back to stock via Odin but there is no way of resetting flash count. Would this cause an issue with t-mobile? This phone has way too many connection issues and the one s when I had it for a few days did awesome, unfortunately I jumped on the band wagon.

are you using tmobile? i'm using the redrum rom with mirf kernel, working fine for me.
kernel and modem is what change the signal strength...i reccomend u try it for a couple day, HTC is cheap quality...they're out of taiwan sooo i would not trust anything from china.

Sacrifice signal strength for better hardware, its how it works. Get the crappiest flip phone in the world and it will have good signal strength if that's all you care about in a phone.

How is gsm3 better hardware it's almost identical to the one s minus the screen and sd card and removable battery. I'm not bashing, I have the gs3 in my hands.

The international version doesn't have CDMA radios.
Lte will be rolling through the country later on. Get the quad if you don't want to wait til that happens

No no no, it won't work. Sprint uses CDMA radios, the international has GSM radios. You misunderstood.
Sprint is cdma but LTE is GSM technology. Just to complicate things.....

In much of the US CDMA coverage is superior to GSM coverage. I almost never do not have at least CDMA for voice. When I was with ATT on a GSM phone that was definitely not the case.
Well maybe TMobile is better. I find with Sprint. I only get service in about 60% of the places I go

You know it could be the note tablet that's getting unboxed. I know it was a wmc but hey weirder things have happened. I think that if the note 2 comes out soo soon, there aren't going to be very many major upgrades to it. We all saw what happened to the sg3. Supposed to be the best thing since sliced bread but many of us stayed.
I hope, for the note series its the tablet and they hold the note 2 back until quad core Lte comes out, otherwise it's adoption is going to be super low

Just saying, none of this is confirmation. These are all the rumors that have been perpetuated over and over by all the android blogs. I'm not saying I wouldn't love these specs as accurate, but no one can confirm these. Samsung hasn't even confirmed anything regarding the Note 2.

I would probably have tried to get a HOX if I didn't love the note so much.
Probably some cheap flip phone. Kinda getting tired of paying 190$ a month for 2 phones when neither me or my wife make calls and send maybe 500 texts a month and now wifi is at 9/10 of the places I visit.

Reminds me of a time before these nice android tablets, I got a Samsung Q1 Ultra and hated windows and linux on it, so I ported Android-x86 donut to it.
Just a little after that the Streak came out and I felt like I wasted my time and money.
I had an AT&T HTC One X, but I got it early and I kept getting emails from people saying that they tried calling me but I never got the calls.
I returned it and got the Note.
I would probably also be on an sgs3.
HTC one x.which I have... tried the s3. Didn't impress me at all.. still waiting for my perfect phone. If the one x had a SD slot and a battery u can swap out. That would be my perfect phone.
