my is usually around 45% at end of the day.
It's usally above 50% for me. Data is always disabled in my case, it helps saving a lot!
My usually lasts up to 11 hours with internet messages and games
I do not know, always use a different, a little bit of play, a little internet, yesterday evening it was 46%
Only 20% at the end of the day.with full charge in the beginning of the day

Hmm i believe that in almost all roms i've tried with franco kernel i get that battery life, now i'm using a modded perfectpeso 2.3
I am currently on GTR v5.0x and I get around 10 - 11 hours on moderate use. At the end of the day, around 20% battery is remaining.
hm, i have switched to razr ui 5.0 and the battery life is excellent! i get around 2 days of usage

mine lasts about 60 h. with normal usage. screen is on 2h, 30-40 m talking.
Im testing today...
But this night in standby was only 3 percent in 9 hours.

I have a problem too, my battery life is about one or two hours, no 3G, no Wi-Fi.
I don't know what to do, I calibrated the battery in CWM. I use MiniCM7Prov21 too.
i have the same problem...today at noon it was 100%... now at 5pm it's 50% and i did nothing...not even a message...
...when I don't use the phone....it lasts me about 2 days....when I do use it, to check e-mails, facebook and whatsapp. it lasts me for about a day....

Well this is my method of calibrating.... I don't know if this work on other phone but - Don't blame me if your battery faulty.
1. Charge the phone to 100%(while on)
2. Reboot into recovery
3. Delete battery stat -advanced>wipe battery stats
4. Off the phone
5. Charge it for 35 min. (I heard charging when its already 100% can harm the battery, so u can skip this if you like too)
6. Reboot then see(Rebooting use few %, so it may not be 100%)
7. Use the phone till it completely 0%
8. You can repeat this 2-3 times If you want
I also use the app Memory Booster to kill all the apps that might be draining battery secretly in the background .(Only kill user app)
The max usage vs. time was 13 hours with:
1. About 1,5 h to 2 h of music on headphones.
2: About 40 min to 1 hour of wifi
3: Few minutes of call and a few messages.
4. About 1 hour with screen on (without counting the above usages) using calculator.
5:One Reboot.
Rest of time the phone was in my pocket or in my desk, laying. In 13 hour, reached 15%

Hi, i'm quite noob over here, but i have strange problem... i had miniCM7pro v16 and now i wnat to upgrate to v21, but when i put update.zip to sdcard and apply update, CMW says, that Amend scripting is no longer supported... HOW TO UPGRATE TO V21?!
BTW, to stay on topic, my battery lives for about 2 days without charging and almost no activity, but if i open internet, it wears off faster than ***** takes off her clothes...

About the upgrade, try using CWM Installer, it is somewhere, just use the search and you will find it. Upgrade the CWM, and then try to upgrade the ROM.

Can you tell me how long this device last, generally use and talk time?
Some sites indicate it has 8 hrs talk time but others such AT&T itself, BestBuy, Costco do say it only has 3 hrs talk time.
So is it only 3 hrs?
on OEM battery: 10 hr and 30 minutes today and still at 74% medium usage
as for talk time i dont talk for hours and hours so i dont know lol but i can make all the calls i need and have plenty of juice.. i recommend using a cutom ROM like unnamed to save battery
on the extended 3500 battery: i got 41 hr and 30 minutes and i was at 19%
62% left after what I consider heavy use. E-mail, GPS, Wifi always on. It's a work phone so multiple calls during the day.
I'm using Unnamed ROM and even updated the ROM today to the latest version on battery. (hence the dip in the graph )

This device gets excellent battery life, especially after you root and freeze useless apps. Alternatively, just install UnNamed ROM.
Mine is bone stock with nothing more then Juice Defender. Tons of app's Medium use my best is 2 days 1 hours and change. Heavy use, Streaming 4-5 hours, lots of talk time and text with surfing with mail was my worst at 10 hours 48 min.
I am VERY happy with the battery life!

Alls i can say is that i went from 100-0 in 6-8 hours stock rom to 24-30 hours + with unamed rom... cant thank gtg enough

That is because you phone is awake 80% of the time according to your screenshot. If you want to improve battery life, look for the app that is causing it to stay awake.

You get only 8 hours because your phone never goes into deep sleep.. It is awake most of the time.. You may want to look into that..

Battery life is so dependent on your usage that almost all comparisons are worthless. I have learned its best to just make sure everything is running as efficiently as possible.
Surprising how some are getting a days worth on the battery.. I'm lucky to get 14 hours..
I can go 8 hours tool its dead or 14 with life to spare. It usually depends on how bored I am at work.
That's why I said its almost too subjective to compare.

Anywhere between 8 to 9 hrs with moderate to heavy usage, wifi,data always on. Occasionally over 9.5 hrs on casual usage with video streaming, music etc
8 hrs under heavy usage (games, browsing, music, listening to music while browsing and gaming). Haven't tested light usage, maybe it'll pass 9-10 hrs.

I know something is wrong with the phone. Completely wrong amd awkward.
Fully wiped, downgraded and even flashed with custom rom.
Still got this massive battery drain, doing nothing.

Well normal is like 7h on data and 8-10h on wifi. Turn off data when not using the phone, reduce brightness, disable location when you don't really need it.

Lol I already do it, with those settings you've said I get much more screen on time (aprox. 7/9h). Forgot to say that screen on time was by 3d gaming with bluetooth gamepad or/plus bluetooth earphone.

This is the reason, without gaming you should be able to get 8h+ sot.

I tried every ROM and Kernel in the book. Undervolted everything. Cant get more than 6 hours SoT with dual sim, LTE, Wifi enabled at all times. My Redmi Note 3 Pro with a larger screen and fullhd got way better values with the same battery capacity..

Battery life is excellent getting 6hrs+ sot with jio network and 64 GB card. Really impressed with 3080 mAh battery.

Totally nonsense.
Btw check your apps, some app is badly misbehaving and it drains your battery.
It is not really, I am using only Google apps, Twitter and Reddit, and everything in the battery manager is behaving totally normal.

Well I guess that you can try to reflash the ROM with preserving data, wait couple of days and see if it gets better.
Or your signal reception is very bad.

First impressions - battery
With my old Samsung S5, if I wanted to play games at night, I needed to charge it in the end of the working day. With Redmi 5 plus I only charge when I go to sleep and it still has around 45 to 50% of available battery.
Before this I owned a redmi pro phone with 4000mah battery and I have to charge the phone about two to three times a day and with rn 5+ have to charge after one day of haves usage
42,5 hours from battery, 8 hours and 38 minutes screen-on-time

Update on screen on time
I have changed to global ROM (I was using the Chinese with English language) and it seems that the battery drains a little bit faster then before. Still it's enough for a day. At the end I have around 30%.

On LTE whole day
In my experience no matter what your android is you need to charge it at the day end. As for mi note 5 with calls, gaming and networking it reaches bottom by day end.
The screen on time is very good!! It minimum last me for 6 hours if I'm use it with very heavy gaming and 9hours I get in maximum SOT with normal use.
Note: I'm a heavy user! Facebook, Instagram, wechat, whatsapp, Twitter, dragon nest m, crusader quest, and etc. More than 80app in my phone.

Just got my device a day ago. Charged it up to 100% and then updated apps/ OS.
My usage is limited to YouTube, Telegram and some light gaming only as this is my secondary device.
Mostly on WiFi. Using a Jio sim for data.
Not rooted and no battery optimisation done yet.
I guess I am the first user to post SOT on custom ROM.
I really hate MIUI!
