hello welcome i have made my new rom based on cm7 by the fxp team and
CREDITS TO THEM!
i also added some of my own tweaks
this rom has just started and i would like people to download flash and comment on how it was
please suport me by telling me bugs and issues with my rom
i will mostly fix them very fast!

Locked bootloader NEVER if you use cm 7.2 kernel!
..and this rom is the same like "your" cm9 rom..no difference to great famous FXP ROM!!

????im happy if we get more and more good devs or romsbut this here is not a rom with many differents..its a release with only few delete apps and new theme..thats not fair to fxp team..
Then release the rom later but with many new functions or something else

3.- "just wait a few days for RC2" as far as I can remember (and search help too lol!) when chikencito12 posted "v5.0 soon" you replied with "I would ask The Mods to tell Devs not to promise Roms in the Dev Threads.. it will only cause spams and make their work that much harder"
Hope no one gets mad, I am not bashing nobody, neither trying to be rude or offensive, my point is that at least at this stage of the ROM, this post is useless, there is nothing new, and we can wait until this is ready, and I bet then he'll get the compliments deserved for his hard work.

Yes, I am am on Stock kernel and Zdzihu xrecovery v0.3. Still I get installation aborted.

Yes of course..i am excited what for features you will integrate and about video lag..with fxp rom 7.2 hd video is laggy on high resolution..is it in your rom too?(i think)..

I'd really wouldn't like to make this a disscusion room, so my apologies and this is my last msg about it.
1.- nobody (at least, not me) said there is something wrong either you or the ROM
2.- I was just expresing my opinion, due respect to your work, never was disrespectful
3.- I was stating also that could be better if you published your ROM a little more... polished, we've all had experienced the change to a WIP, and all of a sudden left alone on the boat!
4.- maybe (and again, it's just my opinion) if you are testing and want some feedback, you could make it clear, so all who has the "beta-tester" feeling know in advance that is not finished yet (even on that, troubles arise), and the title wouldn't be misleading new users who might have a hard time
I really apologize if I made someone feel I was judging, I was just trying to make things clear while expresing my point of view

We created the T.E.A.M ROM for the X10 and now we are taking the first step towards porting it to the next generation of devices.

How we did that?
We have developed a Auto-Magic installation script that will work on any Xperia device by customising system files appropriately during flashing.
Some of the many new and unique features of the upcoming TEAM ROM:
1. Quick sound profiles integrated into the ROM -forget any 3rd party apps, now it's all accessible from the power menu
2. Brightness toggle control with a neat popup you can bring up any time from your statusbar
3. TEAM Tweaks (customise your clock/date/battery/signal text color/size/font, integrated battery bar)
4. Transparency everywhere you look!
5. Elegant TEAM theme
6. New Clock and Calendar from leaked Xperia S GB ROM
7. Tweaks for ambient sensor, minfree and more
8. Enhanced power menu with reboot options: Reboot, Reboot in Recovery, Reboot in Fastboot. If you choose the latter, you will be prompted to insert your USB cable and the procedure will complete only after you have! As convenient as it gets
9. Compatible with any 2.3.4 ROM, any kernel, any current setup. It will not wipe your data or intefere with the way you have been using the phone so far. It will only make it MUCH better
We are introducing the "ROM/AddOn" concept and we are looking forward to your feedback.
ROM/AddOn means:
* One Zip all Phones! with some Scripting magic we can keep all devices updated with a single zip.

HOW TO INSTALL:
REQUIREMENTS
HAVE AT LEAST 50% BATTERY BEFORE STARTING!
You must also me on a 2.3.4 Stock Firmware
( This is not a Stock based ROM, it is a Sony Stock Firmware )
You will also need Root and CWM
This will work on either Locked or unlocked bootlaoders that meat the above requiments
NO DATA WILL BE WIPED DURING INSTALLATION!
1. Boot into Recovery and make a NANDROID BACKUP ( This is really IMPORTANT, as we can't recover your data! If the fan gets soiled )
2. Flash the "TEAM_ROM_v0001_HDPI.zip" via Recovery.
3. Reboot and let the phone do it's thing as it will be rebuilding caches and settling.
First boot can take up to 10 minutes so be patient!
If you want to use your own custom Clock font:
1. You should place your custom font in folder /system/TEAM/font and it should be a .ttf file named clock_font.ttf.
2. Go to Settings > Tweaks and check the option Custom Font for whatever element you wish (clock, battery, signal, date).
You can now also tweak the text size to your liking!!

Q: Where is AppMan?
A: AppMan will suffer a full rewrite and will be ready for a future update!
Q: Can I use this or that kernel for unlock or locked bootloader?
A: ALL kernels built for stock ROMs WILL WORK on this rom. We have tested all of them so take our word for it. ( yes we are flash junkies )
Q: Can I use this or that theme?
A: Short answer, no. Unless of course it is built of our framework. We have made MASSIVE mods to the framework so most themes will disable most, if not all, options in the Tweaks app.
( unfortunatly themers dont like our framework as it changes too often )
Q: I am getting a FC on this or that, can you help me!
A: NO. We can't help you. Because what you just said means nothing to us.
We want to help you SO much, but in order to do that you need to report the bug properly.

First of all, AMAZING rom, I've been using it the whole day and not only is it incredibly fast, I haven't had a single reboot or freeze up of any kind.
Now on to the bugs!! (I'm on stock .42 using Night-Elf kernel V9)
1) I got an FC when selecting reboot options, I've attached a logcat that reproduces the error twice, so you might see a lot of repeated info, the procedure to reproduce the FC is the following:

1) Bring up the Power Options Menu
2) Select Reboot
3) Press the Back button
2) In the call screen, the contact info (name & number) is overlapping over the contact picture, I've attached a picture showing the problem
Finally I've got a few questions:
1) Is is possible to enlarge the contact picture a bit??, 'cause it's awfully small
2) Is there a way to change the quick options icon color??, I'd like to be able to choose the color.
3) I have zeppelinrox's V6Supercharger installed, however it seems that the minfree values you tweaked will be overwritten by that script, is it compatible with your ROM??

This Rom must be flashed over a stock 2.3.4 firmware. It will not work over fxp

So let's go, a little text before we start everything. I want to say big Thank You for all Developers, which help me in the past, all people who are with me, all fans, all haters p), and just.... everyone. XDA community here is one of the best, I've learned a lot in my "carrier" and I think it was great journey, with lots of smile, lots of bugs and force closes, tooo muuuch code and scripts, and any other awesome things inside Android platform. I don't want to call anyone from name/nick beacuse everyone made some nice features for our Play devices, all of us have something to glorify themselves. Sooo....Thanks again for everyone.
Based on Android 2.3.7 features from Xperia 2012 line and Android 2.3.4. Why not ICS? I decided to stay on GB for the best performance, stability and experience for gamers, like me or most Xperia Play users ^^.

Create Yourself ™ - my own idea. You've seen this in all DiXperias - it's something like "you choose stuff and version you like, and if you need something, you just apply this like extra file. No need to delete tons of apps you don't using and won't" - it's simple, fast, and has potential .
Apps and firmware taken from Xperia S stuff, ports etc. (music, widgets, home, font etc.).
Scripts, tricks, tweaks - they promise lot of fun, lot of performance and lot of stability ^^.
I think it's enough but you know it's not everything - I'm sure I missed a lot of features, but it's up to you to test it yourself if you really want to using this ROM.
To don't make mess in this post -> CLICK
- Of course Root + Busybox.
- Locked or Unlocked Bootloader
- CWM Recovery.
- Baseband .64 (tested on it, maybe another works too like .62 or .58)
- Download ROM (+ optional addons) and put it on your SD Card.
- Flash correct Kernel - any for Stock based ROMs (I recommend DooMKernel -> CLICK).
- Go to CWM Recovery and make Full Wipe and Wipe Cache, then clean your Dalvik, fix Battery and Fix Permissions.
- Choose .zip to flash and select my ROM. Wait...
- Done! Reboot and feel free to use this!

Golden-Suggestion -> If you like my work and you are using it right now, please glorify it on your signature with this graphic:
- Don't use any backup!
- After flash my system give it few hours for better stability and ~one day for applicate all scripts/tweaks/tricks.
- Flash every addon separately.
- Simple, but no one understand it. If you want to have better battery life just decrase brightness.
- If you have any problems with standard apps like FC in music, not working Clean Bass option, not showing notifications in lockscreen or FC in conversations - reflash ROM, don't forget to fix permissions and after few hours of using reboot few times. Should help.
- In my opinion, interactiveX, and frequency of CPU 364.8-1305.6MHz gives awesome stability and performance .
- If you don't have 2G/3G connection with Internet, you need to set your APNs yourself.

Why take cj360's work, not credit him, and make a full ROM instead of patch? There are already so many badly supported ROM's for Play, you cowboy chefs should work with helping real devs instead of shamelessly kanging.
I hate to be rude, but you don't even credit him, you just hack this up and you ask for donations. Crap like this is what kills real development.

First: this is not a cj360's ROM with GSM patch, so I can not say I stole his work. My ROM is completly ported from Nexus S from oficial site
Second: nobody undertake to make donations by force
Third: moderators here has to decide whether I'm doing something wrong in this forum
Fourth: Even a broken phone, I still give everything for the community
Fifth: if you think I'm not really a developer, I stop all work in this forum

About this ROM, if it is based FXP145 CM10, why the camera does not work? the changelog says it's fixed! Wedgess solved this in your ROM PAC. Possible solution from there?

Fair enough, my mistake. Sorry! But maybe it would still be good to make patch for CJ's ROM? It will be like a race to keep CDMA and GSM updated together otherwise. I dunno id just like to see working together is all
EDIT: My main concern is that this ROM may be slower/buggier than cj's source build, because it uses CM10 files. Depending on what you copied, there would be a lot of library methods that are not needed for Slimbean but only for CM10. To port cj's ROM to GSM, I think all that would be needed is to change RIL related libs. I will make a patch myself and see how I go.

Does it still have the on-screen buttons? I don't see an option to turn them off just and they aren't really needed on the play.

Thats due to kernel, not rom. Maybe somebody skilled is willing to compile a kernel for the neo l. I dont see a thread for that phone in xda though.

As always, I want say thanks for all big names here, my testers, my friends, and all community (especially thanks for Pizza_Dox, wedgess, krisdee, Spizzy01 and DooMLoRD .
As I have 6 projects to work on for Xperia X10 and Xperia Play, all things I'm making with more stress and less time, trying to do it with all my best knowledge the best possible way . But it doesn't matter, when DiXperia 3 is right here right now!
DiXperia 3 is my ROM based on official Gingerbread with full of mods and ports.
Only one version is planned, and I can't promise any more unexpected ROMs by me (like always, my life changed much and my free time is not big as was before ).
Most of features are written below, so start reading this big thread! Hope you still want do that, and use my ROM :fingers-crossed:.
Based on official SE 2.3.4 GB, with Sony Xperia apps and framework.
Create Yourself ™ - my own idea. You've seen this in all DiXperias - it's something like "you choose stuff and version you like, and if you need something, you just apply this like extra file. No need to delete tons of apps you don't using and won't" - it's simple, fast, and has potential .
DX Engine ™ - Kernel for DiXperia projects!
Playstation Certificate.
Track ID.
Xperia player.
Changing music via volume buttons, and music in lockscreen.
Facebook.
Xperia swype keyboard.
Scripts, tricks, tweaks - they promise lot of fun, lot of performance and lot of stability ^^.
I think it's enough but you know it's not everything - I'm sure I missed a lot of features, but it's up to you to test it yourself if you really want to using this ROM.
Just come and get it in second post .
Of course Root + Busybox.
Unlocked Bootloader.
Required Kernel (could be any for GB ROMs).
CWM Recovery.
Download ROM (+ optional addons) and put it on your SD Card.
Go to CWM Recovery and make Full Wipe and Wipe Cache, then clean your Dalvik, fix Battery and Fix Permissions.
Choose .zip to flash and select my ROM. Wait...
Done! Reboot and feel free to use this!

Don't want make mess here, so just go and read Suggestions, cause there are some nice advices to get DX3 working like it should (we need change some settings after flashing and booting ROM ).

Golden-Suggestion #2 -> I want this thread clean best possible. And:
- Don't use any backup! (it doesn't mean you must delete yours, but be sure that it can create some problems. If you replace backup and everything is cool - that's cool! )
- After flash my system give it 1 day for better stability and the second one for applicate all scripts/tweaks/tricks.
- Flash every addon separately.
- Simple, but no one understand it. If you want to have better battery life just decrase brightness.
- In my opinion, smartassV2 or interactiveX (choose yourself), and frequency of CPU 364-1306MHz gives awesome stability and performance (up to 1613MHz is still good enough with battery, at least should) .

No offense, but in my opinion this is a bit too little of a improvement to be released as a separate ROM. You would be better off making some kind of addon pack.
And credit the awesome devs who actually ported CM for our devices. I don't suppose you did that by yourself.

Build 242 refers to FXP 242 CM 10.1 for SP. Its got nothing to do with Sony's Stock .254 build. You can definitely install FXP242 or this ROM on stock .254 and any version of SP. Hope that helps

yeah i know it. but he's just don't know what his doing. we are getting his back to the right way.
he said this is based on FXP 242, have his tried it yet? FXP 242 have a broken kernel and it will not booting.
cm only booting on ubberlaggydarwin and eagleeyetom build which posted on cm10.1 discussion in general sections. and no credits for them?
and i just don't get the point here.
why we needed a rom with cm11 or aosp 4.4 from nexus devices look a like?
because we already have CM 11 from ubberlaggy and FXP then AOSP 4.4 from adfad?
i really appreciated if this rom have something new features
like working on locked boatloader devices.

i think yes becaused it's used custom kernel.

I want to made a very stable Rom that look like a nexus so i used a FreeXperia Rom. And i think that the 4.4 Roms at the moment are slow
