Screen Protector - Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime

Hi,
I in the market for a screen protector for my tf201. My case came with one but it didn't fit and wasn't very good quality. So I had a look in the guide in this sub forum and looked a few up, a lot are from amazon which contagious to Melbourne, Australia. So what I would like to know is what kind of screen protectors of good quality can I find of a site like eBay and I wouldn't need to pay too much for shipping. Also which do you all find best clear or anti glare. I personally think I prefer anti glare but that's just me.
Thanks ,

Screen Protectors, where and which

I thought a thread dedicated to screen protectors would be a great part of the forum, as i am sure many people will be interested in them
Lets all list ours and where they were bought from ie; condition being clear, anti glare etc;
Im looking into boxwave as i did for my wizard even though they are quite expensive
Here's a link to get half price invisible shields
http://www.zagg.com/showspecial
Zagg is the manufacturer of these skins, you can get a full body for $12 with the above link =)
look in cellphones>tmobile>wing
I have this on my ipod and it's great, for now I'm still using the stock tmobile screen protector along with a boxwave armor case. The boxwave case has a hard screen protector to prevent lcd cracks.
If you decide to go with the hard case here is a cheaper place than boxwave:

These are mine:
http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.3805
Nothing to complain about... works perfectly, cristal clear and comes with cleaning "cloth" and instructions.... besides... $1.35 + free shipping... really hard to beat that price.
I purchased two of them and the first one still looks like new after lots of stylus usage... some of my friends bought some after seeing mine.
Hope it helps.
Anyone have the invisible shield full body protection?
great suggestions, keep it up everybody
the invisible sheild looks great, may have to try that. the full case is a mere investment at keeping the phone in pristine stock condition without anybody knowing you have it on
however at $1.35 for a crystal clear protector that is at least buying to try.
edit: zagg expired

Screen protectors

Screen protectors and leather pouches are available on the bay. Am still looking out for plastic/vinyl protective cases. Do post if you find any!
A desktopcradle should be available within 2 weeks from kigidi.com
hopefully there will be protectors large enough to protect the lower brushed metal finishing.
On the HTC Accesoires shop site are some screenprotectors for Touch2.
HTC Touch2 Screen Protector SP P320 (2 stuks, Retail Pack)
You got to change site language probably.
Protector from PDair.com seems is a good choice, as I have serch for several shops online, the comments from PDair are always positive, and with reasonable price
My thoughts
After trying some "6 for 1.99" rubbish off ebay, I bought a Folix anti-reflective one through Amazon. Unfortunately, this was not very good - just not clear enough, and made evrthing blurred. Nice people at Folix sent me an ultra-clear one instead, and this is excellent for about £3 from Amazon.
I can confirm! I bought a FX-Clear Protection by Folix on Amazon UK and it looks great till now
i wanna order an Ultra-clear or whatever screen protector from PDAir , what's the trick with the shipping ? is it free ?
Dude, go to ebay and write HTC Touch 2 Fingerprint, you will see those from Hong Kong seller, they are great and no fingerprints on them, shipping is free
Just so nobody actually does what the previous poster suggested, I did what he suggested and bought from the Hong Kong seller and it was horrible
It blurred the screen resolution really badly and felt really bad quality. Plus, there were heaps of air bubbles.
I bought an Invisible Shield from ZAGG for the Touch2 and the results are mixed. It does go on with no air bubbles and it's as clear as not having anything on there. Unfortunately, it's quite thick and a bit rubbery, and i've noticed its made the phone harder to use.
Anybody have a good alternative?
I am also using Invisible Shield, I have no problems in using the touchscreen with invisible shield applied.
Try "Brando" brand.
using capdase here. Wanted the anti-fingerprint version but apparently that time i was looking for it, it got sold out =/
Guys i just ordered a Pdair Ultra Clear Screen Protector for HTC Touch2.Will share the results soon

Looking for Screen Protector (not full body) for Verizon TP2 ASAP

I need a clear one, (no anti glare), scratch resistence and it one it needs to be smooth. As I said in the other thread, I have that mirror screen protector and its annoying me so much. I am trying to find one that fits it perfectly (that's one thing I could say that mirror screen protector did right minus the mirror).
Thanks! I was hoping to get one at Amazon since I got a 3 month Prime trial but don't see anything good.
edit: I am willing to get the Amzer Anti-Glare Screen Protector for Verizon Touch Pro 2 if someone knows and likes it too at this point. I really need a screen protector. Thanks again...
edit (again): I am getting a Brando ClearTouch Crystal Screen Protector. Its from Brando but buying through Amazon (have a gift card) so even though I pay for tax/shipping, its not costing me anything. Forgot all about Brando but thanks to this thread I was able to find it.
Brando is good, and the other one I would recommend and I have always had good luck with is the BoxWave crystal series (clear). They also have an anti-glare one, but I like the clear ones better.

[Q] Matte screen protector

Wondering if anyone knows of a high quality matte screen protector that doesn't mess with the sharpness of the screen. I'm looking into getting a G Tablet, but the screen appears to be too reflective.
I saw one in Ebay with anti-glare and etc and is designed for the G-tab (perfect fit) but it costs $29 dollars.
B&E has a matte antiglare for $19.99
bandegifts com
They also have several others from a Buck and up
30 buck for a screen protector !
expensive!
Would be nice this thing is a fingerprint magnet!!!
I bought the screen protectors from amazon and from ebay. The ebay one is a much better protector and leaves it looking much more like the glass. This is the one that I'm having good luck with so far.

Does it do a good job of reducing glare?

Screen protector for Flyer

The Flyer magic Pen would work better, for note taking, when using a matt surface. any ideas on a good matt screen protector?
I can confirm the Scribe works better with a Matt screen protector.

Too bad they're not shipping this to Germany. Why on earth are the good things only available in the UK ?
I put a zagg shield on mine and prefer it over the "naked" screen. I like the feel of th zagg when using the Flyer w/wo the pen.
I just ordered the Skinomi Carbon Fiber protector
http://www.skinomi.com/htcflp.html
you can get 25% off with the coupon code "Get25"
$25 total with tax

Thank you so much, I already dug through Amazon.de, but I couldn't find any matte screen protector - is that one a matte one? I am after a matte protection in order to receive more natural writing experience as reported.pe
Edith speaking: this is the only matte one available in good ol' Germany. Thanks for the notice! Finally, the Navitech case is shipping here as well .
Well I'm pretty sure it's matt.
But you can also take the one from mumbi. They are available as "antiflex" and "cristalclear" ones... I bet all of them are pretty much the same so I bet you could go for the one I posted before or you can get the mumbi screen protector which is even cheaper.

Is the screen protector matte? Looking at the site it looks like it may be glossy...

Could you post where you purchased one in the US?
I just took off my matte screen (GreatShield from Amazon US).
I didn't think it helped that much with using the pen and it really dulled my screen. Maybe there is another brand matte screen that doesn't dull the screen as much as the GS shield does?
Additionally... there is no cutout for the front facing camera.
Tried two matt protectors, this one was easy to apply and does not dull the screen too much but enhances note taking: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B004S79VE2/ref=oss_product
I think this is Euro product.
I just applied the GrestShield product from Amazon referenced above... Both posts are the same product. I bought mine from and Amazon UK, but was fulfilled from the US.
I prefer the matte / anti-glare because it reduces fingerprints on large touchscreen devices. The screen protector is made of a thicker plastic which builds confidence from a protection perspective. It does reduce the brightness of the device slightly, but I've had my flyer set on the lowest brightness setting for indoor use. Increasing the brightness should help.
I haven't played much with the pen yet, but I see no added affect good or bad. Again its the reassurance of protecting the screen with a metal accessory in such close proximity. Especially if you plan to use the other end of the pen as a capacitive stylus.
Overall very happy with the screen protector so far.
UPDATE: the screen protector makes the front camera unusable, but mine was such a poor quality I had essentially written it off. But I will keep an eye out for one with the camera cut-out.
I found the matt GreatShield was difficult to apply (caught a lot of air bubbles) and dulled the screen too much, but does make it easier to use the stylus for detailed notes.
I got the GreatShield clear screen protector and it works great. I don't even notice it's on and the pen works great. Now I can apply pressure when drawing and not worry about scratching the screen. Not too difficult to put on. It does cover the front camera, but since it's clear, I don't really notice a difference. I got the screen protector from Amazon in the US.

I find it a little strange to look through. My screen really lost on clarity, it is now all like covered with dust, a bit like through snow or something... definitely not the best experience with the FoliX. Maybe I need to get used to it, but I had a better experience (though no anti-glare) with glossy protectors on my smartphones back then.

Yes my one seemed like at first, but I seem not to notice it now. Also the feel when using finger input (swipes etc) is better.
The mate screen protector deteriorates the clarity of the screen slightly... It like a haze. For now, it's worth the sacrifice for protections sake. But self definitely keeping an eye out for more options in the future.
