Am a former galaxy s2 user . I know how root , flash , put a costume or uncostume rom , or even make one
But that I dont do anymore
Because I saw xperia s . Liked it . Bought it
It's my first sony/se android phone to have
To unlock bootloader . U have to be in fastboot mode . To be there
I turned of device . Held volume up + power botton + pluged the cabla ( usb )
the device always flash's a blue light then turn to green and show the charging animation
My q is how to be in fastboot mode ?
And I already have the ( B . L ) code !
And using win7 !
I looked alot but never seen a video on how to be in fastboot . Or to root the device

Am sitting here breathless .. desperate no clue on what 2 do ! .. They say .. there's a problem with the battery other's say use SEUS .. another people say .. Try flash tool .. bin4ry's ... i really need an advanced help here guys ! SEUS no longer has the Reinstall for the software thing .. not anymore yes .. and Flashtools .. does no detect my phone .. the only alive thing in my phone .. is that Red LED .. works when i press on the power button .. it lights up 3 times .. and the phone turns on only when i connect it 2 the charger .. i dunno if its charging or not .. cause i can only see the Screen being stuck on SE logo .. the led .. is dead .. What now .. ? the new home of my phone is goin 2 be " trash " .. ?

Try bin4rys flashtool 'terminal' edition
I know by my own experience that with Gui it sometimes fails to discover the phone. I tried with terminal one, and i succeded.

Use PC Companion to repair your device.
Are you sure your phone is completely shut down when using flashtool? Coz back then, my phone kept on booting as long as the battery is inseeted. So I took the battery out, prepare the flashtool within one click to begin and wit sleight of hand I put on the battery, connect the usb and press the back button and voila, it detected my phone and start the flashing process

9. Turn off phone.
10. On phone hold back key and connect phone with USB, but dont relase key.
11. On flasher press enter while holding back key.
12. Relase it when it says "Sending Loader..."

just tell me you have mini or mini pro.
as you said your phone blinks red led three times it indicates your battery is not charged dont worry even if you put it whole night it wont because i got similar problem.
i will give you instructions after you tell me which phone do you have mini or mini pro

First, you need charge your phone! But you need do this with charge adapter (Not USB cable + PC), later try to flash you phone with flasher or SEUS.
If you phone is no start or booted - pressed Home+back+Power - this rebooted tour device !

just forget every method, start seus when it asks you to connect phone
just connect your phone without pressing back key, phone will boot
now press home+back+power keys as kobzarcheg said
your phone will vibrate and turn off with green light LED on
release power and home key but not back key
your phone will be detected and seus will either download the updated firmware or repair your phone
If you still haven't fixed your phone yet..
1) You need to charge your phone with the wall charger (red light on phone generally means battery level low) you can't charge it from your computer it needs to be the wall charger.
2) If you have already tried the newer version of Flashtool and had no luck then try this one.. (it is the original one I still use because it never fails, all thanks to Bin4ry for this tool.. I hope he doesn't mind me sharing it if it help you out)
Flashtool2.1(non GUI)
3) download, unzip and copy the firmware .sin files into the Firmware folder in flashtool (should be 8 or 9 .sin files) make sure you download the right ones for your phone! (mini-E10 pro-U20) from here..

SEUS no longer has the Update or repair option .. =/

Ok kiwi ill try 2 do ma best .. though i dunno if its charging or not .. cause i connect the phone 2 the AC charger --> Wall one ... no lights go up .. the phone just turns on .. and stop at the SE logo .. (( I DUNNO IF IT'S CHARGING OR NOT )) .. besides i Cannot take the battery off cause its under some kind of cover that need's 2 be unScrewed .. which is somethin i dont want 4 ma phone .. if i had 2 .. i will =/ ... am downloading the Flasher ATM .. And thanks Again ..

Yep, I have a mini so I know you can't remove the battery
I would leave the phone plugged into the charger for a few hours.. (even if you don't know if its charging)
with a mini, pressing the power button and the middle button at the same time and holding them down for 3-4 sec is like taking the battery out and putting it back in.. when Flashtool asks you to connect the phone then you just need to plug the phone in while holding down the back key (the phone should be off (or between reboots) for you to do this)
(also had you ever plugged the phone in and ran pc suite or SEUS before this problem.. I wonder if you have the drivers for your phone installed on your computer? if it had worked for PC suite or SEUS in the past it should be fine.

I've the xxx B.1.54 kernel ICS Stock ROM from this thread but with no CWM.
Rooted and Bootloader unlocked ....
then I installed this kernel:

via fastbootmod to be able to have CWM.
My Sola went down but won't go on again....

I managed to get into fastboot mod .... please .. which kernel should I install to be able to get it on .....???
it works back .... so .... I'll tell everyone what I did .... this is what we should do always in such cases ....
1- I went to be prepared for the prayer and prayed and asked God to help me ,,,,
then I did exactly what I did before but this time (after praying) :
2- while it is completely down, press and hold the (power on + Vol up + Vol down) till the device vibrate three times then it will go off again...
if you tried to turn it on again so repeat step 2 again ..... ------> do not turn the device on.... just wait after the vibration and....
3- hold the Volume up button and connect the device to your pc so it will go into Fastboot mode ,,,,
4- flash the old kernel u were using before and restart and it will work ....
5- thank our God for helping us....
6- do not thank me, I'm not a developer... I'm just user..,, thank the people who gave us these software ,,,, many thanks for the XDA-Developers...
Hi guys I would like to have an information if it 'possible ... this morning I flashed a rom that was supposed to go on the device in question .. but at some point during the flash the rom via TWR "TeamWinRecovery" my smartphone fallen and the battery jumped out .. now the phone is not broken but will not start ... with the power button does not turn on .. and even enters into recovery via volume up + power ... if I connect the usb i see an red LED .. and finds the preload drivers etc but always disconnects after 2 sec .. can you tell me which 'the problem? and if it 'repairable? thanks in advance! 1st : have u tried to ( HARD RESET ) ur phone ( hold power button with Volume up key till you get 3 vibration. then start your phone normally by pressing power button )
2nd : have u tried to connect at ( FLASH mode & FASTBOOT mode ) !?

your first solution failed as i tried to hard reset but still get nothing just the red light blinking for a moment and then nothing happen
the tried the 2nd solution, i held the down button and connected the phone to pc, a green light is on but nothing in the screen
what do i do now, is this a good sign?

Of course its a good sign
u just need to Instal the ( Flashtool ) and install another Rom u want ( Worked one ) cous the one u was trying was just a tested version...
Do u know the process of using ( Flash tool ) !?

wow i really really hope so, i don't know how to use flash tool for this particular problem
please help me
1st : if u want the stock rom u just need to google Xperia P 6.2.A.1.100 ftf 4shared and click the 4shared link
or Use a custom Rom ( moowwalker-cm11-carbon ) any one u want .
2nd : u need to see this

If it's lock why have you installed this ROM which is CM10 based?
Run PC Companioin , click start under support zone, click start under phone / tablet software update, click the repair link, follow the instructions.

i wasn't aware of this bootloader thing, now im paying for my ignorance
i did what you said but it tells me to turn on the phone before proceeding, and the phone won't start

The repair does not ask to turn on the phon e it ask to connect in flash mode (volume down while connecting to USB).
I you have used the phone with it before it will remember it, if not you will get a screen to select the model.
I wouldnt be much of repair if it needs a working phone would it?

i just solved the problem by doing exactly what R.almwafey told me
thank you so much, now i will roor my phone and install CWM then unlock bootloader before i flash any rom

I was trying to make a rom in my tablet LG-V400
I didnt do anything jet . But i made the mistake to edit my my bootpath it was an root app and it was just one unattend click i made and now i cant bootup my device .. it gets stuck in bootloader with option "restart bootloader + reboot +power off i have tryd to boot in the place to see a green droid but i simply dont get that screen when holding down nescesary buttons ...Its simply not working because my bootpath has changed and i dont know how to fix that my Pc both linux and windows doesnt recognize my device anymore
This was my hacking device and it contains unbelivabley important info wich i need to give to my clients so please for once help and hacker/python programmer out thanks <3
