Hi, I am trying this rom right now, and I am considering to keep it as daily rom, but I would like to set cpu at least to 1500mhz as i was always using before on Leedroid ROM + Anryl 10.07 and 10.08 kernel, it was very good performance and battery life too.
Is here some kernel compatible with this Anryl ICS ROM which allows overclocking and has almost as good battery life as Anryl 10.07/10.08? (this is my main question)
I was trying to flash both this kernels, becouse on Leedroid rom they can be overclocked to 1500, but on this Anryl ICS I cant use Anryl kernels at all(phone is not booting at all, was trying few times-just HTC bootscreen 10min+, wasnt waiting more).Thx for reply or some link to same topic, couldnt find any. Sry for bad english
BUMP, I would also like to know this. I want to use a Overclocked kernel on android 4.03 and sense 3.6 using my Evo 3D:fingers-crossed:

running meanrom with stock kernel due to no custom kernel being available for new base yet however with meanrom both cores running while screen is on feels like it's overclocked anyway so no need for custom kernel

i switch between chogard 2.1 and viper 2.5 rc2. both are running freeza's b kernel plus dual core screen on and the supercharger scripts. no lag here and the battery lasts 24+ hours on normal use.
i've honestly gotten to the point that i'm ALMOST bored with the evo 3d. it's running too stable and smooth right now.

Hey,
I'm currently using King Cobra v2.1 and it lets you select between kernels in the installation process. I'm one for battery life (LeeDroid was killing it).
I'm currently using the Stock HTC Kernel, but i've heard the Anryl Kernel is good for battery life too. When I look on Anryl's rom page, there is not much info of the Kernel.
I would really appreciate it if someone could just list a few pro's and con's between the too.

Also what is the best undervolt preference, i've tried -50mv but it crashes and reboots after around 5 - 10 mins.

Best ROM out there is anything by Mik... I'm hoping he comes out with an ICS build when the OTA drops.
Seriously, though, this is all opinion. All the ROMs currently out are great and have a lot of support. None of them are really any noticeably better than the other in performance or battery from what I've seen. It all seems to be just what skin/theme you prefer.
But honestly it's whatever you like haha
KINGCOBRA 3D with HTC SENSE 3.0 & Android 2.3.4 is the best i have tried so far for HTC EVO 3D GSM. Offers a lot of customizability...

Dude, why don't I see Leedroid here?!?! I think Leedroid ROM is the best out there, but everyone is free to their opinion. His ROM is certainly the most used rom in the ROM section, so I think a lot of people would agree. I've been using Leedroid ROMs since I had my EVO 3D for a week and never changed it to anything else. This ROM perfectly suits my needs and with the latest (Final) version the battery life is EXCELLENT! But honestly, you should try some ROMs and see for yourself which you find best. Happy flashing
If you're CDMA, use ViperROM combined with Chad's sense kernel @ 1.5Ghz for speed and stability.

MeanRom is pretty nice, I am going to stick with it until the ICS Roms get worked out.
so guys , my friend gave me his htc evo 3d and asked me to flash him a new rom.
could anyone tell whats the best rom out there as far as stability and smoothness goes, i've been searching through the roms lists and found a couple of candidates but since i have no experience with evo roms , i thought i should better ask you guys.
(a brief description of the suggested rom would be much appreciated )

Kingcobra, coolexe, anryl are all good 3.6 sense roms, team genesis are having some issue's with there 3.6 sense rom, which is unfortunate because they had the best rom. If you are looking for a sense 4 rom, you only have 1 choice and all sense 4 roms have no 3d.
I am using a sense 4 rom, 3d is not a requirement for me, functionality is
Miui, asop, senseless I wont touch
Tell me what you are looking for and I will try my best to lead you to the best rom for you

it's my friend's, so i've decided to go with sense 3.6 (i don't want him whining about how i broke his 3d) , the most important is stability and smoothness , and with the whole fancy sense experience , heavy customization and custom themes are not a must , but it would be a nice touch .
i've already checked mwakious3dRom and EVOLVER3d v2.5 and seem quite descent. should i go for one of those or do have some better suggestions ??

Yeah , S-off and unlocked , i don't a non-working game or two would be a problem , i think i'll go with cool sense , seems descent (i'm too lazy and tired to look further ) , now could suggest a kernel that goes with it , in terms of stability and battery life,......... and overclocking also

His kernel is on this thread, I believe he just did a minor upgrade, comes with swipe to wake with capacitive buttons,quick charge, full control of cpu etc, although if you wish I have Call of duty zombies fro android, pm me if you want and I will give a link
my evo 3D is cdma shooter with s-off and rooted and right now using ICS
i want to downgrade to gingerbread with criteria :
-all function and 3D working
-best ram management with/without Sense
-good battery life
-dual core effective config speedy
-good game compability
-gameloft game full effect(i heard you get full effect on gameloft game using gingerbread but not ics)
-OC/UV cpu , OC gpu
