I love the 3D. I honestly never use the 3D function, it's more of a gimmick imo, but the phone is the best I've owned yet. And at this point, I'll never own anything but an HTC.

i love it too. a little bummed out by the hboot 1.5 crap but it's easy enough to work around. the phone screams and looks amazing. and the camera is quite nice. don't let the fact that is' 5MP fool you. still gives great shots. and the 3D is really just like a cherry on top. fun to play around with but easy to turn off.

I like my Evo 3d, but just to be completely honest, I miss my Nexus S 4G. I actually bought a ns4g yesterday from the marketplace here on xda. I also bought 2 off eBay. Not sure if I will still keep the 3d, but I will definitely be keeping one of the ns4g. 2 are broken, so they are projects.

I have to agree I like the Evo 3D , even in stock form it performs very well . HTC does make a good product (atleast my expierence with them) . Even with me moving to carriers shortly (possible new job will relocate me to a Verizon area , no sprint service) I will probably go with the HTC Rezound . Motorola just isnt doing it for me from what I see and the Droid Prime , well it has ICS but eh . New carrier but sticking with HTC .

I really like my E3D. I have been eyeing the Galaxy Nexus, but to be honest I am enjoying my E3D so much and have grown to REALLY like Sense.

The NS4G is a very nice phone, my brother-in-law is using mine until the Galaxy Nexus comes out. One thing I don't miss about that phone is the horrible WiFi and Data reception.
Now since both the Evo LTE and SGS3 is out spec wise, who's going where?

Galaxy S3. I am looking for something new.
I never thought i'd say this...but my next phone might be a Samsung. lol
I really wish HTC wasn't soooo blind and/or blatantly anti-consumer. It seems like Samsung got everything right with the gs3 while the new line of HTC phones still have quite a few things that I really don't like about them.
I haven't finalized my decision by any means, but as of now, i'm definitely leaning towards the GS3.
Everything was looking so good right up until the screen...F That crap...not even going to give pentile display a 2nd thought after seeing the Galaxy Nexus up close.

The answer would be easy if HTC would listen to the community. But since Samsung makes their devices developer friendly its a hard not to go with them. Even with the screen quality being less than the Evo LTE. The Evo is guaranteed to be locked and I can't stand being restricted. HTC also doesn't give out source code so our devs can't build functioning roms. Thats why I'm leaning Samsung
Coming from the rezound in June. I was happy with the way the one x looked and thought that's what I'd be getting, then the evo let design came out. It kind of bummed me but it's growing on me. The sg3 just doesn't have a good enough design for me. I like the lte's look better. Still wish it looked like the one x though :/. Oh well I still can't wait.

Hello all of my Wonderful EVO lovers! As a junior developer who is getting this device (and plans to release some cool stuff), I just wanted to see if there is anyone that I might happen to know already in this Forum that I could work with. None-the-less, this isn't just about that, but getting to know everyone in this particular forum as well. I hope that you all can vote and answer and be proud to get such an amazing flagship device for Sprint.

Coming from the EVO 3D.
Hopefully this will be the phone I'll keep for 2 years, I've never kept a smartphone for more than a year. Or puchased later than 3 months after initial release.
I doubt anyone will come from the LG Viper 4G LTE lol, its pretty fresh on the shelf compared to everything else on the poll.
Is this from most recently? I started in the Hadnspring days ala Treo 600.
Evo 3D most recently. I guess I didn't realize people didn't upgrade every time a new sweet phone came out. I try to just stick to HTC though, since I like Sense.

It'd be epic over epic if you were upgrading from the Treo 600 to the EVO 4G LTE.
No stylus or Franken-Garnet Palm OS, the screen difference, no pulling up that dinky antenna. Jesus... You'd probably have lockjaw.

The Treo 650 was leaps and bounds better. No EvDO still but the screen was good and it had bluetooth. The keyboards were AWESOME on each.
I've been watching videos and looked for threads regarding this but haven't seen just a list of differences was wondering if anyone could do a short difference list. I'm coming from an HTC thunderbolt been using sense. Pre-ordered with verizon but looking for like a heads up.

I also came from a thunderbolt. Your in for a real treat man thats all i can say. Get excited for the mail man. GS3 is on a whole new level in every way from the thunderbolt.
touchwiz is a bit different from stock or sense but its pack with incredible features!!
I'm going to miss sense soo much. I'll always have my incredible2 to play with though. Especially with nitsuj deving sense4 to it so well.. hopefully there is a good miui Rom atleast

Welcome. While some will say our 3D is a gimmick, I say once the iPhone adds 3D it will be all the rage. I love watching movies and videos in 3D. Here's one that will make you go "oh sh*t!".

From what I seen of the video, that looked cool. Really looked like his hands were coming out the screen. It may be called a gimmick but it seems cool. This is a nice phone. I have to get it rooted. All my previous Android phones were rooted.

Why the switch from the Nexus S? Doesn't have the same amount of horsepower as the 3D but it can also get the latest updates from Google (i.e. Jelly Bean)?
The 3D has more muscle, but the Nexus S is no slouch. I maybe can understand now why some say they will only get Nexus phones though. I made a Craigslist posting about trading sometime back, and yesterday someone offered a 3D so i took advantage. A wack thing about this phone is not the phone itself but how long Sprint is taking to drop the ICS update when Jellybean is around the corner. But I'm the type to root anyway. Either phone has its perks, it seems that even though the Nexus S is not latest and greatest, after having a non Nexus, it seems like the NS phones still have some type of relevence. I maybe wanted more power etc. The NS also doesn't have expandable storage. This phone shouldn't be overlooked, its a strong phone. If only I knew Android development? Lol

I loved my EVO 3D. Unfortunately, I have this habit of just buying the newest thing out... So I bought the EVO 4G LTE. My wife has my EVO 3D now. If they made the new EVO in 3D, I would've bought it still.
Speaking of... could we get a roll-up sticky for hellos as well as goodbyes?
